I recently stayed at Hotel Medora Auri in Podgora, and overall, it was a very pleasant experience. Location: The location is one of the hotel’s strongest points. Nestled right by the Adriatic Sea, it offers easy access to the beach and stunning views of the coastline. Whether you’re relaxing on your balcony or walking around the area, the scenery is truly beautiful. View: The view from the hotel was absolutely excellent — one of the highlights of my stay. Waking up to the sight of the sea every morning was incredibly peaceful and refreshing. Food: The food was generally good, with a nice variety of options. However, one downside was that the vegetables didn’t seem to be organic, which might be a concern for those who prefer bio or farm-fresh produce. Still, overall meals were tasty and satisfying. Beach: The beach near the hotel was clean and well-maintained. It was a great place to relax, swim, or enjoy the sun, and it never felt overly crowded. Overall: Hotel Medora Auri is a great choice for a coastal getaway in Croatia. With a perfect location, gorgeous views, and good food, it’s an ideal spot for both relaxation and exploration. I would definitely consider staying here again — especially for the beach and view.

The hotel has an excellent location and its own private beach. The sea is wonderful — very clean and not too shallow. Both breakfast and dinner options at the property are quite good. The food is delicious and offers a nice variety. The staff are friendly and helpful, always greeting guests with a smile.

However, using the elevator can be quite difficult due to the crowds. While taking the stairs might be fine for some and even beneficial health-wise, it can be a real issue for guests who rely on the elevator. Additionally, the buffet area in the main restaurant feels cramped and disorganized, making it challenging to move around, especially during busy hours.

The hotel and the surrounding is beautiful. This year we were not in the main building but in one of the adjacent ones. We had a lovely sea view directly from our balcony. The breakfasts were great the dinners pretty good as well. You get non-alcoholic drinks as well as wine and beer included with the breakfasts and dinners. The parking is free as well. The staff is very friendly and polite and since it's our 4th year in this place it was great to meet familiar faces. Natalija and Vesela in the morning canteen were awesome as weel as Branislav and Samsudin during dinners. These guys made our stay feel much much better!

The room (cleaning) service could get bette. When we needed our towels replaced, just one of our 4 towels were replaced. The shower gel and hand soap went empty on the second day and even we asked the cleaning lady to refill them, only one thing was refilled, so we had to ask for the second again..

Have stayed at many hotels, but I came back to this one for the second time because it truly felt convenient and enjoyable from the moment you wake up — the day starts with a great breakfast, followed by time to relax at the wellness center, enjoy the poolside, or spend time at the beach. Then, just in time, it's dinner — which offers everything you could want. We enjoyed every part of our stay. We’re definitely coming back again because everything about this place makes it worth it! P.s stayed in May so the weather was 18C° - 25C° so it wasn’t that cool as you can imagine since it is a seaside resort so you better packing up summerish clothes tho, even tho it was cold to swim, it was warm enough in the afternoons to relax in the outdoor pools :)

The location of this resort is soo beautiful. One of my best stays so far. One can watch the sunset from the dinning area , the gym and of course most rooms have the balconies facing the sea. The staff were incredibly accommodating and professional. There is a kids play area and some one to mind them and keep them engaged. Lots to choose from at dinner time. I requested a packed breakfast at 6 due to our flight and it was ready with a bottle of wine as a pleasant souvenir from them.

We got two double bedrooms with the sea view/ half-board. Rooms were comfortable and clean with a stunning sea view and big balcony. The staff was really friendly and helpful. Tasty food and a good choice for vegetarians. Nice swimming pool and direct access to the beach ( towels and sun loungers free of charge). Free car park. Excellent location if you have a car or if you plan to stay on the beach.

Family trip paradise. Staff was always kind and caring in every hotel place. Two pools, one for non swimmers kids, gym, all equipment and towels free, amazing catering, kid animators every night. We enjoyed this place a lot.

We loved it. The food was amazing. There was an excellent selection. The loungers at the beach were comfortable. The beds were great and room were super clean with excellent aircon. Aldina and Milica at the restaurant were so lovely and friendly .
