The apartment was not exactly modern but it was clean and comfortable. The views from the terrace room was absolutely amazing. The restaurant underneath had the most delicious food and the staff were so attentive and welcoming. I’ve never been to a more hospitable restaurant.

There was a bit of confusion about the rooms we received and I realised when we arrived each room had its own name. It would be helpful if on booking.com the room names were stated with pictures. This would probably avoid any future confusion. All was sorted eventually with the owner giving our family of six a fully paid meal with drinks and desserts. I was very happy with this and he went above and beyond to make things right.

Beautiful view from the balcony! Yes, the apartment is not new, but it was clean, the bedroom had air conditioning, and the room with the main balcony had a fan. After reading the reviews, I was worried about the condition of the apartment, but the rooms were as pictured on Booking and we had a great time there. If you buy parking, keep in mind that this is a public parking lot with a limited number of spaces and you are not assigned a spot. When we returned to the parking lot in the evening, we had to wait a few minutes for someone to leave the car. Nevertheless, it was not a problem for us, especially since the usual parking fee is higher.

The staff didn't respond to my message asking for an iron until the next day, so I had to spend the evening in crumpled clothes. It didn't spoil my mood, but keep in mind that such moments can happen.

The property is perfectly located within a short walk of the main bus station. We chose a room with a harbour view and were absolutely astounded how beautiful the view out of our window was. The room was spacious, light, airy and clean. It had everything we needed including a small kitchenette with a fridge.

The shower head is poised to always spray water all over the floor. We adjusted it as much as we could but ended up stuffing a bath mat between the bottom of the shower screen and the top of the bath so we didn’t flood the bathroom floor.

The apartment is clean with a comfortable bed and the property is easy to locate. All in all, a good place to stay at for the price.

While not something we didn't like, do note that the rooms are rather small, as we had barely enough space to hold our luggage which was basically 2 trolley bags. And they only have three free parking spots, after that, it costs EUR 15 a day at a nearby parking area. There is no bin in the bathroom either.

Nasa posjeta je bila pocetom V/24. Apartman ima idealnu lokaciju i okruzenje, sve je jako blizu centra i na dohvat ruke. Obzirom da smo imali malo dijete od 2,5 godine, bilo nam je bitno da imamo osiguran parking, sto nam je bilo i obezbijedjeno od strane domacina. Jedina zamjerka je sto je na bookingu pisalo da aprtman ima i balkon, medjutim to nije bio slucaj, ali sve je bilo kompenzirano imajuci u vidu sjajnu lokaciju, urednost, mirno okruzenje i veoma susretljivog domacina. U prizemlju objekta se nalazi odlican caffe bar, koji je ujedno i restoran sa odlicnom ekipom, konobari znaju posao. Sve u svemu opet bi ponovili istu rezervaciju.

In a really good location in Markaska. For the price I paid and for the room and view I got I was happy. I stayed in the Empire room on the top which I believe is their top room. Could be modernised for sure, but I was still happy with it. The room was large and had a decent sized bathroom, big bedroom and open plan seating and kitchen area (although not used in my short 1 night stay) The restaurant bar downstairs which must be connected to the hotel as that’s where I checked in & out was really good. The burger was delicious and the staff really helpful. Ivan and Marko were helpful when I had to leave luggage which was appreciated!

Bed could have been better. Only a light sheet provided which is probably fine for peak summer, but maybe a little thin for this time. Overall facilities decent. But could definitely be refreshed.

The location and view were amazing and probably one of the best in Makarska

The facilities in the apartment were very poor. Attention to little things would make a huge difference. You have to make your own bed, no tea towels to wipe dishes but you are told if dishes are not washed it’s a 10 euro fine. Air con in the living room was broken and falling off the wall, held in by a chair. Television in the bedroom did not work. Even some tea bags or coffee as a token welcome would be great.

The little room was perfect for an overnight stay. It had lovely windows overlooking the park. There was a fantastic jazz festival in in the park so it was a little noisy but in a good way! The vibe and tunes were a bonus! The staff let me keep my luggage in the bar during the day whilst I walked around after check out. Would definitely stay again. The location was prime spot next to the little beach and marina.

The location was perfect right on the Marina with stunning Mountain View’s. The apartment was lovely and great to have a balcony overlooking the mountains. Would highly recommend the restaurant- food was amazing. Staff were very friendly and helpful - Gloria was especially helpful and books a fabulous trip to the Skywalk for me.

This apartment was a great surprise, two minutes to the main restaurant area, two minutes to a nice little beach (others also not too far away) and the marina was great to watch at all times. The apartment was spotless, comfortable and with a very efficient (& clean) elevator it wasn’t a drag to get up to the third floor. Makarska was a brilliant 3 day stay for us. Highly recommend the destination and the apartment !

The only downside was the shower (quite a high step into a shower above bath).
