The location of the hotel is simply fantastic. They've built the complex with comfort, ease of access and guest enjoyment in mind. You'll find something for everyone, young and old. The childrens pool is covered and protects against the sun during the day which is great. There is a tourist agency on the bottom floor that can arrange basically anything for you. A special thanks to Veronica for being the most welcoming Concierge I've ever met and going out of her way to make our stay as comfortable as possible. If i ever open a luxury hotel, I'm stealing her from Aminess. The hotel is 50m away from a wonderful beach full of activities and nearby shops. Towels are on the house as well as the sunbeds on the Aminess part of the beach but you gotta be early to catch a free one. All in all an amazing stay here and the reception staff are awesome.

- I heard some of the staff laughing about me speaking English while I'm Croatian. Sorry guys, i grew up abroad. - The pool-side staff can be quite rude but I'd be mad too if i had to serve people all day in 36 degrees celsius :)) - Our first two days there the rooftop restaurant was heavily understaffed resulting in long waiting times for orders.

Picturesque sea view, large comfortable rooms, nice food with great selection of dishes at breakfast and dinner. Nice swimming pools indoor and outdoor. Musical evenings with piano. All in all, great hotel.

I know it's quite a common restaurant practice to charge extra for water at dinner, but it gives a guest a feeling of a cheap guesthouse to it in an almost impecable hotel. Is such a disenchantment really worth this little extra money? Just to consider. Personally i would rather pay more for the stay than be nagged at dinner for a few coins more.

İt's near the sea and there are two pools (one heated inside and one outside). The room was clean and comfortable.

The breakfast service was definitely not up to the standards of a five-star hotel. Most of the items looked stale and unappetizing. In a hall where hundreds of guests were having breakfast, only one coffee machine was working. The staff didn’t seem prepared for such a crowd. The spa area was somewhat dirty. Despite everything, the reception staff and the housekeeping team were very attentive and well-intentioned.

Mixed feelings. 1) Extremely nice interior design. 2) Good view and food in the restaurant on top 3) a kids house on two levels

Food quality is 2.5 out of 5 maximum. (The restaurant on top serves top food, but it serves only several tables, can accommodate very limited number of guests, many seats are empty but you cant eat there) 2) They need to fire their technician or head of maintenance: in the photo attached you see loose cables in the kids house on the second level. Even after I complained twice nothing changed for 3 days. Loose cables, in Germany smb would go to pridon for that 3) the beach is dirty (many guests just leave their cans, plastic package, glass bottles. They should fine people or clean regularly or both. 4) smoking. Guests smoked everywhere: on the beach, near the pools. That‘s a disgrace.

Our main complaint for a hotel of this statue is food at dinner. We were staying for the 2nd time and the food was almost the same as last year. Breakfast is ok, but dinner is just poor for a 5* hotel. Lots of sea foods which are delicate taste, few pizzas and bunch od sweets. No variety and every night is the same with a couple of changes here and there. Lots of food isn't fresh, in my opinion. Also, the kids' menu is non exsistent as it comprises 2 meal choices at best. Please take this as constructive criticism because it doesn't do justice to the hotel, the staff, and overall experience you get at Khalani.

Absolutely loved it, great family hotel, far exceeded my expectations. Loved the location, a short walk from Makarska with a buggy-friendly route. The staff were lovely. The facilities were class. The food was excellent, I tried something different every day. I have an 11 month old who is crawling so I am very conscious of the cleanliness of the floor but it was absolutely spotless throughout the entire hotel. I think I only saw 1 ciagrette butt during the whole 8 days.

I wish the time of the room clean would have been more consistent so I could plan my baby’s naps around it. Sometimes it was 10am sometimes 2pm. Also some of the construction machinery next door was very noisy during the day, some thing to be aware of if you are sensitive to noise but I made the best of it and enjoyed pointing out the diggers to my baby.

Visually and with its location, this hotel is definately 5 Stars. Clean, new, sleek, grand and contemperary finishes you would expect from a modern brand new 5 Star resort. However, the experience is 4 star at best. Unfortunately it does not live up to its full potential and 5 stars is skin deep. Rooms are very good and above average in size, pool area is amazing with great options for kids and adults.

Service however is slow, understaffed and underwhelming. Long wait times, lack of staff and seemingly unorganised dining facilities really ruin what could be a 5 star experience. Food is ok, nothing amazing. For a resort that serves in the hundreds of people for breakfast, a lonely 4 slice kmart style toaster is almost laughable and you can forget trying to get to it. Pool staff pick and chose what rules apply and to whom, reserving of pool beds is forbidden but yet every bed is taken by 8am with no people present.

This was our third stay in the hotel. Our first stay was in 2023 and i would rate it as the best one. Every year since then the quality faded ever so sligthly. For instance, prices in the bar by the pool skyrocketed, while quality of drinks plummeted...(martini bianco for 12€ only 1/3 full, regular espresso for the price of double,....etc. Also, this is the first time we had a feeling that they reuse the food that was not consumed day/night before... Do not get me wrong, this is still by far the best breakfast and dinner you can get in this area, there is astounding variety of dishes served, there is absolutely no way that you can stay hungry in Khalani hotel. You can find something to eat, even for the pickiest of people! Also it is well taken care of people with diffrent food alergies... Rooms are great,this time we stayed in deluxe suite with sea view, a proper apartment with two rooms and two bathrooms with sea view! Outside pool is heated and very clean, absolutely lovely place to cool off (depth 160cm). There are many, and i mean many, deck chairs with umbrella. Indoor pool depth is 130cm, with jacuzzi nearby. Wellness area is nice, clean, with 3 types of sauna and a place to relax. Also superb place for kids, as there are 2 pools and a whole playground made just for them. There are probably 150 steps and around 20 stairs to the beach, under hotel is a market and a nice walkway (15min) to the beachside of Makarska.

Prices in the bar by the pool are pretty high, food maybe(?) reused.

Beautiful hotel! The food is top-notch, the staff are friendly and professional, and everything is incredibly clean and meticulously maintained. Every detail reflects quality and genuine care for the guests.

The only major issue is the elevator. Every time we had to wait at least 4–5 minutes, and even then, it was often full. For a hotel of this level, it is unacceptable that only one elevator is working, especially during busy periods. Additionally, the elevator doesn’t go down to the underground garage, which means you need to walk several minutes to reach your car. This is a significant drawback that affects the overall experience.

We stayed at Aminess Khalani with our two children and overall had a very positive experience. The hotel definitely deserves praise for its cleanliness, stylish interior, pools, and quality of service. The staff were very friendly and helpful throughout our stay. We were pleasantly surprised with a free room upgrade - instead of a lobby view, we got a beautiful sea view, which was a lovely gesture. A huge plus for families is the kids’ playroom and the animation team. Our daughter absolutely loved it and was happy to stay and play with the animators. The hotel’s location is excellent - close to both the sea and the mountains. There’s also a rooftop restaurant with stunning sunset views that truly take your breath away.

The food at the hotel was good, though somewhat repetitive. It’s fine for a few days, but if you’re staying for over a week, a wider selection and more menu rotation would be appreciated. A small downside worth mentioning is the blinking red light from the fire safety system on the ceiling in the room. It made it a bit difficult to sleep without an eye mask, so I’d recommend bringing one if light disturbs your sleep.
