Hotel Biokovo is a great place for visitors of Makarska. Located along the Riva in the center, it's a five minute walk away from the "main" beach, a bunch of restaurants and bars, and right next to the ferry and a supermarket. The rooms are comfortable and clean, staff is friendly and helpful. The hotel has its own restaurant with good food (and plenty of choice). The breakfast was decent.

The fruit at breakfast was not great, but other than that there's nothing, in my opinion, to complain about at this hotel.

Super location. We ate in their restaurant almost everyday for lunch and dinner, the food was tasty und good value for money. The man on the reception was very gentle und helpful. ☺️

the breakfasts could be little better. There were no tomatoes, fresh vegetables. It was no information about croissants of what are made (marmalade, no marmalade or chocolate), generally information about the food which served. For someone who has to take care of the health (no sugar) without fresh vegetables I did not have a choice.

The hotel is located right in the city center, but it was relatively far from the beach that we liked. There are a lot of restaurants nearby, the main promenade is five minutes from the hotel. The room was very spacious and clean, we liked the terrace with a mountain view. Also the breakfast was delicious and varied.

Breakfast. If you come at 9.00 (braekfast untill 10.00) almost nothing left, nobody comes to check or refill plates and ect.

Great location, comfortable bed, friendly receptionist, access to pool, sauna, spa and gym at partner hotel (about 100m away). Breakfast buffet has good variety. Would highly recommend.

Location in the city center right at the ferry port. Tasteful breakfast. Very nice and helpful young woman at the reception.

If you want to open a small fridge you need to open the door of the hotel room first. The elevator got stuck with guests several times a day.

Great location, ability to use the swimming pool at the hotel’s sister property nearby, plentiful and varied breakfast, comfortable bed. This was our second stay, and we would return.

Our room was above the restaurant, so we could hear the loud music even with our window closed. The reception staff was pleasant and helpful, but the waiters in the restaurant constantly seemed annoyed by guests, with one exception—a very service-minded waiter who had spent the past 3 years living and working in restaurants in Germany.

The hotel location is excellent. It is virtually across the road from the high speed ferry dock. Martin on reception was professional and helpful. The room was spacious and it had a French balcony that allowed you to enjoy the sea view and promanade activities. There is a restaurant which was very busy and buzzie but I did not dine there. There was a good buffet breakfast available. I was there early so the buffet was bountiful. I had a good night's sleep and was bright eyed and ready to head out early the next morning.
