Our stay at Hotel Mirjam was fantastic! The breakfasts were a real highlight – different every day, fresh and delicious. The rooftop pool offers stunning views of the sea and mountains, with plenty of sunbeds, shaded areas, and a bar – perfect for unwinding. One of the biggest advantages is the peaceful location – away from the crowds and noise of central Makarska, so you can truly relax and enjoy the quiet. Yet it’s just a short walk to the beach and promenade, giving you the best of both worlds. The hotel also offers free parking, the rooms are modern and spotless, and the staff is friendly and helpful. Highly recommended for a relaxing getaway!

The hotel room was spacious with a fantastic bed and pillows …so comfortable. Great bathroom with lovely products and a great selection of food at breakfast.Hotel was very clean with great pool area and although hotel appeared busy we always got sun beds and parasol during our stay which I was very happy with. The hotel staff were extremely accommodating on any requests I had and ensured we had an excellent stay . Highly recommend this hotel for a stay. Staff were very friendly and helpful.

Although by the beach which I loved it was a 20/25 min walk to old town .

Everything was perfect. Very high level of customer service. Very professional and kind staff at the reception, in the kitchen, at the pool bar and during cleaning. The room was spacious (2 beds + 1 sofa for a child), clean and modernly equipped. Distance to the sea no more than 5 minutes down a small hill. Breakfast excellent, large selection of sweet, savory dishes, vegetables, fruits, hot and cold dishes - for everyone, whether vegetarian or meat lover. I can only recommend this hotel.

Everything was perfect, nothing to complain. We would love to have dinner at this hotel in the future. Even though there are too many restaurants nearby.

Wow…what a lovely hotel! We have stayed at many hotels over the years and Hotel Mirjam is definitely one of the best. Spotlessly clean, comfy beds, an extensive breakfast choice, rooftop pool (fantastic views) with towels provided, small gym, sauna and jacuzzi plus all the extra little touches like l’occitane toiletries, water dispenser (gym area) to refill water bottles etc. We were even given an edible gift when we left. All the staff are friendly and helpful - it’s clear they enjoy their jobs and want you to have an enjoyable stay. The hotel is at the quiet end of Makarska but that suited us as the best beaches (in our opinion) are along the walk past the Romana Supermarket.

The only small constructive criticism would be more hangers in the wardrobe. There’s extensive storage and room for another small rail with hangers.

A Truly Exceptional Stay at Hotel Mirjam: Beyond All Expectations! What can I say? Our stay at Hotel Mirjam was nothing short of excellent from start to finish! From the moment we arrived, we were met with warmth, attentiveness, and outstanding service that made our entire experience unforgettable. Right from the beginning, we were cared for with such genuine hospitality, even during an unexpected bee sting incident on the balcony, the team was right there to help (Mr Zeljko, thank you bringing that bag of ice for my painful foot)! The staff interaction was one of the highlights of our trip. A special shout-out to Iva, Ivan, and Mr. Zeljko at reception, who were always friendly, helpful, and professional. Even the nightshift clerk was on top of things, especially when the garage door was closed! Our room was splendid, spacious, immaculately clean, and thoughtfully designed. The sea view was absolutely breathtaking, and the deep safe gave us peace of mind for our valuables. A heartfelt thanks to **Fatima and Lejla from housekeeping, who kept everything spotless and always respected our rest time with such consideration and care. The rooftop bar was another gem, especially thanks to the young lady with glasses who created delicious, personalized cocktails with a unique flair. Every bar hours there felt special because of her touch! Mornings were a delight with the variety and quality of the breakfast, a true highlight of each day. Mladenka and Luka stood out with their professionalism and warm service that made us feel truly welcome. I also treated myself to the spa services, and I cannot praise Mario enough. His massage was exactly what I needed to reset and recharge, thank you, Mario! The rooftop pool offered the perfect escape from the beach crowds, allowing us to unwind and enjoy peaceful moments with a stunning view. Overall, we had an absolutely wonderful week at Hotel Mirjam. The entire staff went above and beyond to make our stay comfortable.

I would suggest adding half board option (or dinner) for your guests so that would reduce stress of finding dinner options, especially when one night we had bad weather and only one restaurant was open for service.

We had a very good stay at hotel Mirjam - the hotel is located in a quiet area of Makarska far from the noise of bars and clubs - breakfast had really good variety and included options which you don't normally see for breakfast such as fish and seafood salads plus the fresh smothie which was also very nice to have - although we visited in high season we did not have trouble finding parking - rooms are spacious and well maintained, cleaned and serviced daily - the views from rooftop pool are gorgeous

There are a few improvements I can note that would have made the stay better. - it was impossible to park the car near reception to check in. They should keep a spare place for a car to stop while guests check in. It was very unpleasant to carry our large suitcase on the stairs coming from the parking lot. - pool bar only serves drinks. Light snacks would be nice. - the shower area had no place to store your own toiletries which is unusual.

My friends and I enjoyed a few nights’ stay at the Boutique Hotel Mirjam in Makarska, and we cannot praise it enough. Our double and triple deluxe rooms offered luxurious beds and pillows (even the sofabed in the triple room was extremely comfortable), modern decor with large mirrors, L'Occitane luxury toiletries, tea- and coffee-making facilities, and plenty of natural light and space. Both rooms had a sizeable balcony and stunning sea views. The hotel’s buffet breakfast was a daily feast of deliciousness, with such an outstanding variety of tempting hot and cold food options that it was often difficult to choose what to take. The hotel also caters for different dietary requirements. I would like to give a shout out to all the members of the hotel staff, who were each extremely professional, friendly, helpful, and efficient. And we truly appreciated that they went out of their way to give us two rooms right next to each other with adjoining balconies. Although we only visited the rooftop pool once (only because we could not stay away from Makarska’s turquoise waters), the 360-degree panoramic sea and mountain vistas left a lasting impression, along with the lovely pool and bar service. The hotel is located some distance from Makarska’s old town and marina, but the 30-minute-or-so stroll along the Riva Promenade is totally worth it—at any time of the day—just to soak up the atmosphere of the several bars, cafes, restaurants, small shops, and beaches that border the tree-lined walkway. Buba Beach with its excellent DJ (for music lovers) and the nearby Biloševac Beach (for a more relaxing atmosphere) are situated just a 2-minute walk down from the hotel, with various other beaches at walking distance along the coast. We were all highly impressed with what Hotel Mirjam had to offer, and in fact, it by far exceeded all our expectations. I highly recommend this first-class boutique hotel for a memorable stay in Makarska!

There was nothing that we didn’t like.

The breakfast was great - each day there was a variety of options to pick from. My room wasn't sea-view, but it turned out to be great as in the afternoon the balcony was in the shade. The view from the roof pool is amazing! We had a great time staying in Mirjam Hotel - it's perfect place to stay at - very comfortable, quite and peaceful. Loved every minute of our vacation and hope to return some day! ☺️

Hotel Mirjam is on the edge of Makarska in a quiet area with tenniscourts and a bungalowpark. The entrance is a little bit hard to find because you have to drive in front of another apartmentbuilding to get to Mirjam. Enough free parking places. This hotel is one of the best we've ever stayed in! Great new boutique hotel with beautiful design. Clean, colourful and friendly staff. Our room on the 3rd floor had mountainview and view of the bungalowpark nextdoor, a big balcony with laundryrack and furniture. The room is very spacious, the large beds are great, also a large bathroom with plenty of thick comfortable towels and soap/shampoo. Large closets with safe, bathrobes and minifridge. Great airco! Free jacuzzi and sauna downstairs. Just ask the frontdesk. Enough sunchairs on the rooftop pool with seaview where there's also pooltowels and a bar. The breakfast is out of this world, especially in the weekend. Everything is fresh and delicious and there are even smoothies and fruitcocktails. A walk downhill takes you to the pebbles beach and a boulevard with plenty of restaurants and little shops. With a 20-30 minute walk you are downtown old Makarska and the harbour. Very well worth to go and see. Would definitely stay there if I were you ;-).

We had a sea view deluxe balcony room and it was beautiful. Big, clean, airey. Couldnt fault it The breakfast is absolutely amazing All reception staff were very friendly, the breakfast staff not so much Location wise its very good. Nice walk down the front all the way to the old town We hired a car for the week and parking was easy

Other than slightly miserable morning breakfast staff everything else was great
