I have stayed in most of the hotels in Makarska over the years, and this is my new favorite!  First of all, location-wise, this is the best you can get in Makarska. It is just 5 meters (!!) from the beach, and it is right in the middle of Makarska. The historic town and harbour is a 5 minute walk to the left. And to the right you have 3 or 4 kilometers of beach bars and restaurants. Just perfect!  Second of all, (and this is most inportant) you have the comfort of your own home, as it is a fully equiped and comfy 1-bedroom appartment. All the space you need. When you enter the large balcony, you will have a breathtaking view of sea (if you book the right room ofcourse). The room is cleaned very good,  every day,  and they even did the dishes! What more could you ask for? Well, they also have these adorable sweathearts at the reception,  who are always smiling and eager to help you and greet you. Thank you ladies! For parking, I recommend to reserve a parking spot at the front of the hotel. You pay for it, but parking space in Makarska is scarse and I am too lazy to walk far with my suitcases. Upon arrival they even offered me to help unload the car and park my car for me.  Ofcourse I did that myself, but this is really 5 star service isn't it? Where do you get such service these day's? Oh, and you can also use a small breakfast buffet in a restaurant in the building. Included in the price

If you can find things to complain about,  or not being happy with this place,  you must have some serious mental issues! Go seek help! :)

Great rooms, new hotel. Felt like at home. Will be back.

We wish the hotel could close the breakfast area and use air conditioning during breakfast hours. Mornings were hot and humid and area was wide open. Food was served in these conditions too (some trays were placed on ice). Food variety was good. Coffee machine was amazing.

Personal was very polite. They did our laundry for free. They were cleaning the rooms every morning even we were late. Overall, everything was very good.

I wish they had a better Internet, Stronger signal to all the rooms and breakfast up to 11 o’clock.

You have only to cross the pedestrian street in front of the hotel and you are at the beach (10-15 meters). The room with the sea view is big enough for 3 persons. The breakfast is good. The hotel staff is very nice and willing to help. We had a problem with the AC unit in our room, they changed us the room and since we had booked 13 nights, they gave us for this inconvenience free parking and a dinner from the house. In front of the hotel there is also a floating aqua park. Another 2 floating aqua parks are in the proximity (200-300 meters).

The beach in front of the hotel is very crowded, but if you go 300 meters to the left, the beach is wider and less crowded. During the night, the room with the sea view is a little bit noisy (I'm talking about the rooms from the 1st and 2nd floor), because of the bars on the pedestrian street which are closing very late in the night (3-4 AM). But if you have a deep sleep, this shouldn't be a problem. Also you have to slam the door of the room to close it and if you get up early, this can be unpleasant for those who are still sleeping in the room. Also the water was leaking from the shower and the bathroom had water on the floor. Problem was solved with some extra towel put near the glass wall of the shower, to absorb the water.

The location was fantastic; across the beach with restaurants below and a balcony looking onto the beach which was aesthetically pleasing. The reception staff Matea and Lucia were extremely friendly and helpful and were always a pleasure to see at Reception. The hotel was very relatively new, it was very clean, rooms were decent size and there were tea and coffee making facilities with a fridge which was convenient. The main town was by and harbour as well and it was only a few minutes walk which was convenient, especially when boarding boats to go to the other islands, everything seemed very close. Also the pick up point for the Skywalk was a few minutes walk which was great.

I wished the 2 king size beds which were pushed together had a mattress topper that minimised the division between them.

Just finished our stay here and must say everything was excellent. We had 1 apartment and a 2 bed room with the seaview. Everything was clean, room service did everything everyday even all glass or cups. Waiters at restaurant were attentive, everytime we were eating there, seweral times asked us if everything is ok and if we dont need anything. Ladies at reception were wery kind in every way, ready to help with anything and always with smile on their face. This was my second stay here, buy I must say that I will come here again nevertheless its more than 1100 km for me to get here.

The hotel was perfect for our stay. The 2 receptionist ladies were always very kind and professional. Everyone was helpful. The room was always very clean.

The wi-fi was not always working.

Incredibly perfect location. Very nice and friendly staff. Parking problems been solved by hotel staff, we left the keys at the reception desk, and they parked our car for us, this was really very helpful. Reception and room service ladies also were very supportive.

Breakfast could have more variety.

I’ve been to Makarska 10 times in the last 10 years, and this hotel/apartment was by far the best. It’s located just 5 meters from the beach, and the rooms and service are very, very nice. The manager and his staff, including Matea and Lucija, were exceptionally friendly and helpful, they gave us great recommendations and useful information during our stay. We’ll definitely be back!

Very good location right next to the beach and the promenade, with all the restaurants and bars. Big rooms. Balcony overlooking the sea. Excellent sound proofing of the balcony door and window. It was really busy outside, all day, but closing the door kept out almost all of the noise. Very helpful, multilingual staff. Parking was arranged for us. Beach mats and towels provided.

No bottles of water left in the room.
