Convenient location close to the bus station (which is an easy, flat walk, other than the flight of stairs between the street and the hotel entrance). Same street as the stunning Arena. 24 hour reception and ability to store luggage. The staff were very helpful with carrying suitcases up and down stairs as there is no elevator. I was kindly given access to my room straight away when I arrived early in the morning.

It’s an old building, and the fitout and amenities are not as slick or luxurious as the other places I stayed in Croatia, (yet this was both the smallest room and most expensive room I stayed in). The latches on the shutters on my window seemed to be broken, so I couldn’t open the louvres to let light in. If I left the shutters open, they banged open and closed in the wind, so I had to keep everything shut up. That being said, I think this comes with staying in an old building, and I could live with this for my 1 night stay given the convenience of the location and how helpful the staff were.

This staff was very accomodating and receptive, we had significant changes to our plans and they met us at the taxi and helped us into the hotel well after midnight. This was the only location we have stayed at that the thermostat was fully available to us. This is very great.

The only issue we could state was that the room we were in didnt have great blackout to the outside lighting. This was a minor issue though.

My stay at Hotel Scaletta was exceptional. The staff was really helpful and friendly, the room was very comfortable and clean. I liked the breakfast ( included in the price), that was served at the cosy restaurant of the hotel. The location is very close to the famous Arena, perfect for getting acqiainted with all landmarks. I strongly recommend the hotel for foreign visitors of the fabulous Pula.

Everithing was great.

The location was great. It is 100 meters from the amphitheater and 10min to the city centre. It is a beautiful walk in the morning. The important thing for me was a parking spot which is 100m from the hotel The street parking is usually 4 € per hour and you can be a limited time (only 3 h max I think).

The only thing that could have been better is the breakfast. You can order scrambled eggs which are great, but the other things could be a little better. Other than that, there are no flaws in my opinion.

The location of this hotel is absolutely perfect for sightseeing. Parking is easy as they have a location nearby which is very important especially during the busy months. Parking on the street is very expensive in comparison. Breakfast was good and the room was good too. The staff are more than helpful which can make or break a holiday.

Bed linen might need updating and also reception area.

Hotel staff is amazing! It feels like being home. The ladies on the reception and in the buffet are so kind and professional. Hotel is tiny, but it is very cute. Location is also great, just 100m from Pula Arena (Colosseum).

Hotel is in the very centre, so it doesn't have parking, but you can buy daily ticket in the zoned parking spaces (next to Hotel, in 'Gladijatorska' street), which was 18eur in June 2023. The process is very convenient, through the app. Hotel itself is a bit older, as it resembles renovated aristocratic house, but that's also part of the charm.

The rooms were clean and very nice. Breakfast selection was great!

The room was a little bit tight. It had extra furniture that was not needed in the room. It was hard to open the luggage. Parking is very difficult to find, especially on the weekend. The hotel is in a great location near the coliseum a 5 minute walk. It's easier if you take a bus or a taxi to the hotel. We had a car, and when we arrived the first night it took an hour and a half to find parking and we were so tired after driving for 11 hours. The blue lines for parking around the city means you have to pay but could not find any paying machines, so I'm not sure how a tourist would pay their is no signage anywhere! And the white lines mean parking is free. Also, it would be nice to have a coffee maker in the room.

Just a short walk from the bus station and into the old town. The magnificent colosseum is just 100 metres away. Very comfortable bed, tasty scrambled eggs ham, cheese, etc, toast and croissants for breakfast with juices and good coffee. Man at The reception kindly carried our bags up to the first floor and down again this morning for us.

We arrived on ferry from Venice at 21:00 tired from a long day in the hot sun. The hotel is very close to the docks and convenient to access. 5 minute walk Fantastic breakfast with eggs, meats, cheeses, yoghurt, buns and bread, cereals, and more. Delicious! Hosts were extremely welcoming and kind. Went above and beyond! Only 5 minute walk to Pula's attractions . Great room that was clean and fresh. Welcoming candy!!!

Minor issue is that front door is on side of building so took a few seconds to find key safe to collect keys when staff are gone for the night. Perhaps a small sign on restaurant door to redirect people?

Miriam made us most welcome, and was a wonderful hostess. The location was fantastic, being close to the bus station and the city centre. Breakfast was very good too

WiFi in our room was very patchy, but we were told the system had been changed four days beforehand and that they would investigate it
