We spent here a long weekend, wanted somewhere close enough with not too long to travel with varied options for children and it did not disappoint. On the contrary, we enjoyed it very much and we regretted that we only booked for the weekend. The Hotel is directly on the shore with 2 small sandy beaches, and 2 more where you can use the ladder to get into the sea. We booked the superior room, we got upgraded to a room with balcony, which was amazing and highly appreciated. The view from there was lovely on the "park" side, it wasn't loud at all. The room itself was big enough for the 3 of us (2 adults, 1 child) we found the bed comfy, with the aircon and the large storage space, the good sized bathroom with shower and the mini-fridge. We booked half-board, there were plenty to choose from with live cooking-stations both for breakfast and dinner. There was a long line at 18:30 when they opened so we recommend going a bit later to avoid waiting. You get a bracelet upon checking in with which you can access the children's pool area, that has a water playground, water slides and a slightly warmer swimming pool, these are all with non-salty water. They have all day entertaining for children at the kid's club, in 3 languages: Croatian, English and German. Plenty of sunbeds around. The hotel also has 3 adjoining swimming pools with different water depths which are filled with salty water. Again, plenty of loungers around. You can rent beach towels from the hotel with a EUR 15 deposit (not fee). A cocktail bar right outside the hotel swimming pools, than a beach bar (Marea) between the hotel and the children's area and some other kiosks (like a bakery and a smoothie and waffle place) right there next to the facilities can provide lunch. 3 children's playground just outside and a short walk to the neighboring harbor to check on the yachts. Plenty of parking spaces, tennis court, other restaurants. Highly recommend, will be back!

Please consider adding jugs of water to be included with dinner.

Great selection of food . Well maintained pools and aqua park for kids

People were asked to come for dinner at certain time . Hotel restaurant not opened for our floor until 7.45 pm ( not allowed to come earlier due to kitchen staff not capable to serve to amount of people who currently stay in the hotel ) We were told off for coming once earlier at 7.30 pm And allowed to enter the restaurant until 7,45 pm !! This is appalling not giving the choice of time they wish to have their dinners and sorting the people out by floors ! Clearly they need to employ more staff to be capable enough if the hotel is full .

Room cleaning was good. Daily fresh towels. Buffet meals are good quality and give a wide choice. Staff are friendly and helpful. Inclusive membership of Punta Pool club was great. Sea is warm and buoyant.

Too much of the resort area is given to car parks so there is not enough green space. Bikes and electric scooters going along the pathways are a menace to pedestrians. Smoking by the pools and in bars is annoying. No chance of securing a sunbed at the hotel unless one is really early. Pools are really child size and depth but the hotel is next to the sea.

Great for kids, aquapark, playgrounds, kids club, sandy beach just nearby. Big parking space, walking distance to the town, nice pools (but a bit cold water). Good food, a lot of choice

Aquapark closed at 6pm; also kids club. Limited choice of food in hotel restaurant during the day. And a bit pricey.

Perfect location and perfect hotel for the families with the small kids. Food was excellent, breakfast and dinner included. Friendly staff, and lot of fun for children.

Main problem for us was (maybe only in our room) that water in the shower was impossible to set on the medium. Either it was ice cold, or "boiling" hot. And maximum water pressure was 4 on scale 1-10. Parking is in the open area on the tarmac, under the sun. Guests are paying small additional cost.

Large, refurbished hotel with an outside pools (quite shallow, though I think the max depth was around 1.2m). Food is okay, nothing special and could use a bit more premium options (it's a 4 stars hotel after all). The staff was nice and the room was modern. The location is amazing, great for watching sunsets, enjoying with a drink next to a pool, cycling, walking along the coast. Tennis courts very close.

Family room is a bit of a joke. The extra beds are basically a couch that extends, but the matresses are not comfortable, made of 2 pieces (lenght wise each bed consists of 2 separate pieces - weird) and looks more like a cheap hostel than a family room in a 4 stars hotel. Shame! The drinks are expensive at the restaurant and they have some bad quality Czech lager beer on draft.

The hotel is impecable. Clean, with really nice staff, very well organized. We had half-board and the food was all through out very good. The location is great: sea front with sea view from almost every room, in a quiet area of Umag. Facilities were great: we had plenty to choose from (sea with concrete & stairs entry, pool, small public beach with sand and small water entrance, aquapark with activity team for kids, inflatable water park in walking distance, all kinds of water sports, tree park with shade in front of sea, enough sun beds, yoga in the morning or pool aerobics). Rooms were good size, with confortable beds, very well sound proofed. Short distance to Motovun, Groznjan, or Jama Grotta Beredine, Rovinj,Trieste. Evening events with music was tastefull and low key.

We are a family, so not a minus for us, but the hotel seems a family hotel. Also the public beach being sandy with small water attracts families with children. So something to keep in mind is you're gonna have a lot of children around. Price for our trip was ok, since we booked very early, but after changing to Euro, prices in Croatia have gone up quite a bit (not hotel fault). Water in sea and pools was a bit cold, but that was due to 2023 weather (not hotel fault again). Definitely they need to consider some system for hanging clothes to dry in the balcony.

The hotel has a nice location, it is a little further from the centre, but in a quiet area with access to the beach. The room we had on the 2f. was nice with a balcony, the hotel is city and the food is good

it is further away from the centre, so spending time in the centre and walking back and forth is more demanding, but for us was ok

The hotel is ideal for families. It's definitely a kid-friendly hotel. We enjoyed almost everything. We have to say that we really like the services provided and the staff. I want to thank Martina (the manager) for fulfilling a request that I made. The staff at the bar is also very friendly. The hotel has a "private" beach in front of it. The waterpark for guest use is also nice. Small "sand" beach nearby.

I would not say that I did not like it but I think when the season is over, they should repair the pool. Some tiles are missing and can be dangerous to the kids. Also, the dinner was indeed very crowded but it was mid-August so I think within this period it came as a bonus. Finally, something that really bothers me is the fact that non-guests would take the sunbeds - I think the hotel should do something about this.

The three of us spent a nice week in this hotel. The hotel staff, from the first to the last, were very kind, helpful and unobtrusive. That created a good mood everywhere. The room was clean, comfortable and big enough, as was the bathroom. The sea view was beautiful. We had a large and varied selection of dishes for both breakfast and dinner. Along with baked and boiled dishes, there were a plenty of quality fresh fruits and vegetables. We liked the surroundings of the hotel, lots of greenery and opportunities for walking.

It would be very useful if you could mark which dishes are vegetarian/vegan/glutenfree etc.
