The location was perfect—right next to a bus stop that takes you directly to the airport! The price was perfect! It’s also very close to the city center of Willemstad, which is convenient if you’re planning to go out and party. However, it’s worth noting that there’s no nearby beach, and you’ll need to walk about 50 minutes to reach the closest one. The staff was lovely and patient, answering all my questions. They were also happy to assist me with changing beds due to an issue with the originally assigned one. The entire property was spotlessly clean—kudos to the team for maintaining such high standards!

I wish there were an option for breakfasts on-site. The place itself is a bit worn: • I had to request a change of bed because the curtain was missing. • The showers in the ladies’ area either lacked shower gel or had shower hoses that didn’t work properly. That said, I believe these are minor improvements that could easily make the property worthy of a 10-star rating!

If you’re looking for a hostel that’s clean, well-located, and has a good atmosphere, Bed&Bike is a solid option. The rooms are kept tidy, and the common areas offer a nice place to relax and meet other guests. The location is excellent, with easy access to public transport and nearby attractions, making it ideal for exploring the area. While it may not be luxurious, it offers a friendly vibe and everything you need for a comfortable stay. One downside is the kitchen—it could definitely be better equipped. While it has the basics, there aren’t many cooking tools or appliances for those who like to prepare meals during their stay. If you plan on cooking, you might find the kitchen limiting.

Convenient location - the whole Pietermaai is within walking/cycling distance.

I liked the bed & bike concept, so I chose this property. I would have expected the bikes to be included in the room charge. However, 15 USD per week is not a big deal. What disappointed me was the status of the bikes. They'd deserve proper and regular maintenance. I had a chance to test bikes at the sibling hotel - B&B Jan Thiel. Those were even worse. None of them was fully functional. But if you don't need a bike for your vacation, this is a perfect spot to stay.

great location in the center, at walking distance from all the main places. Beds are very comfortable and there are a lot of hangers in the room. have a book exchange. Helped me to rent a scooter for a few days for a good price and with dropoff at the airport. My recommendation: great to spend a few nights to get to know the center. But then head to Bed&Bike Westpoint. Amazing hostel right next to a public beach. Unfortunately most beaches "close" to Pietermaai are private and the hotels charge around $17 for a sun bed.

could have a few activities/tours so its easier to get to know people. But i was also there in low season. On the one hand it was nice to have a dorm nearly to myself but on the other hand it was harder to meet other people.

I'm glad they were able to arrange a taxi for me to come to the hostel from the airport. Price was reasonable. Bed was comfortable. A/C worked extremely well (which is necessary in such a hot place.) Love that there are stalls in the bathroom, but also have individual toilets available as well. Also loved that I could last minute rent a car directly from the hostel. Walking distance to the downtown area. If I were to come back, I'd definitely stay again.

This is not a social hostel. I worked hard to be as social as possible, but this is just a quiet hostel in general. The showers are less than ideal and aren't cleaned properly daily. The rooms were fine other than there isn't a lot of space for suitcases. It was also strange that they gave two keys for different times of day - can't you just put it all on one? One of the security guards also tried to hit on me, but I handled it. Wish the car rental was for 24 hours rather than 9am-9am only. They also advertised walking tours online, but didn't answer my question about it via email and didn't seem like they offered it. Most of the staff seemed bored and/or annoyed - not quite the energy you want when you are on holiday.

Excellent location, really comfortable bed with two towels provided and a privacy curtain, drawers underneath for storage, room was quiet and a perfect (cool) temperature. The staff were SO helpful and friendly--shout-out to MIkayla (Mikaela?) who personally helped me figure out how to lock the drawers under the bed. Great value!

The main thing is that there were SO MANY mosquitoes in the bathroom! And the drawers underneath the beds are a bit weird because you need two locks to be able to properly lock them.

It was amazing, very comfortable, clean, the staff was exceptional, and its located in a very central area where you can walk to restaurants and the Queen Emma bridge with no issue.

If I were to nick pick I would say that the rooms were probably a 7/10, and it would be nice if they would sell sometimes to eat, I arrived late and at the time of arrival I couldn’t find any restaurants or groceries opened. I had traveled all day and hadn’t had lunch and had to go to bed without eating. This is something I wasn’t aware before hand, that establishments closed so early.

I booked the six-bunk mixed bedroom. The bunk was soooo comfortable with individual electric plugs and a light. It had a firm but comfortable mattress. There were two storage lockers. The location is fantastic for the tourist area. The main Punda Bus stop is a short walk away along with the main town of Willemstad. Great internet and a common area to work. Friendly and helpful staff.

The bunk shade was difficult to lower and raise so I was concerned that I would disturb the other guests in the room. Showers left a puddle of water outside of the shower due to poor drainage and constant dripping.

I was in the large dorm but it was not full, so it was nice and quiet and the bed is comfy. Good pillow, it even felt spacious because of the extra space in the wall and the bed above was high. There is a light and a plug, and a locker (bring a lock).

The rolling curtains are great, but this type of material you can see through, when lights are on. Even with mine closed and the one across from me also closed, i could still see the person in the other bed.

The staff is very helpful, they are always there to help the guests when needed. The beds are super comfortable and clean, same for the toilets.

I found invasive when the staff enters in the room and don't knock on the door. It would be lovely if they knocked first before going in the room, as we could be changing, for example, and feel uncomfortable with the situation. The kitchen could have a stove, so the guests could be able to cook their own food, as at times, eating out every night can be expensive. I understand that the hostel needs a policy regarding renting the bikes, however, freezing $100 for security for just a day use is too much. Plus, it doesn't take 10 working for the frozen $100 to get back to the account, it takes 30 working days. This also needs to be better explained when guests decide to rent a bike.
