Beautiful boutique hotel with warm, welcoming and very accommodating staff. We were traveling as a group of 5 and as we arrived late, the reception staff immediately gave us our room keys and we did the official check in at our leisure the next morning. This was very welcome news having just travelled a very long distance! Gorgeous pool area which was the ideal place to spend a few hours relaxing. Very comfortable beds and excellent air conditioning and Wi-Fi. We had breakfast included in our stay but as we had to leave the hotel very early every morning, the restaurant staff packed us a delicious take away breakfast. No issues getting new towels for the pool or beach each day and when we asked if we could have a late check out on the day of our departure, it was very kindly facilitated at no extra cost. All these little things made our stay at Scuba Lodge very enjoyable. Thank you so much to the staff for such a wonderful week!

The front desk staff were absolutely top notch - lovely people! They went above and beyond to answer questions and help with whatever was needed. Incredible customer service! The grounds were beautiful, loved the 2 pools after a hot day of sightseeing. The bed was comfortable and the room was very nice. We loved the charm of the hotel. The location was great for us - walking distance to many restaurants and the sights of Willemstad but also very peaceful.

The restaurant was sadly disappointing. We ate there 5 times during our stay. Twice, ingredients were missed entirely from my food and 2 other times, they forgot to tell me they were out of items and brought me my dish made with different ingredients than what I ordered. They also brought me a bill with someone else’s food included which I’m glad I just happened to look at before paying. The staff also couldn’t answer basic questions about the menu. The service wasn’t great which was a complete 180 from the service at the hotel which was sad as we really wanted to love it.

Lovely location but the sea and near Peitermaai. Also did the Westpunt dive with the partner dive centre which was lovely.

We got upgraded when we arrived which was lovely. But then we weren’t sure why as first night we had a screaming baby underneath us 3-4am and then construction work right outside our window (shutters so sound comes straight through) started at 7:30am. We asked in the morning if we could move rooms - they only had a basic room available but at least it was away from the noise. They also made up the room to make up for it. No vegan options in their restaurant

Big, comfortable, clean studio with a well equipped kitchen. Great shower. Daily cleaning and towels. Very friendly staff! Next to the beach and great pool. Super nice to drink a cocktail or have a meal with your feet in the sand. Reservations needed, because super busy.

Our studio was next to the road so quite some noise from construction work and traffic. This studio didn’t have a small area to sit outside (only a small bench next to the busy road which isn’t very comfortable).

The hotel is very well located, nearby the Willemstad center (10min walk) and the facilities, particularly the swimming pools and the restaurant with sea view were great and comfortable. The persons at the reception were very kind and helpful. They supported us on booking many activities and were very flexible with our requests (payment, booking taxi to airport, rental car, activities etc.). The room had AC and was comfortable with a small terrace in front.

The room was nearby the entrance of the hotel and not very well isolated so you could hear sometime people walking in and out in the alley. However it was not a big issue as the hotel is quite quiet and we did not feel the need to change room or anything.

Welcoming, friendly staff. Restaurant serves high-quality well-prepared food. Property grounds are always kept immaculate. Easy walking distance to all of the most popular sites in Willemstad.

Just the construction of new hotel next to Scuba Lodge. Out of their control and looks like when finished will be a great addition to area.

Reception staff were very welcoming and helpful, the bed very comfortable, the apartment suite had everything I wanted and needed (except for a little desk for all the writing I wanted to do!) A great kitchen with a full sized fridge, stove, and oven helped me feel truly at home, and the patio furniture helped me enjoy the cool breezes in my private space behind a locked gate, which helped me feel super safe as a solo female traveler. I was pleasantly surprised to see that cleaning staff even washed my dirty dishes and did a thorough job of cleaning the suite thoroughly everyday. I especially loved the infinity pool with comfy chaise lounges and the restaurant with a good selection of reasonably priced food and gorgeous view of the ocean. Also the location was central enough in Pietermaai that I could walk everywhere.

The service in the restaurant was hit or miss. Sometimes the wait was a bit long, once I was given the wrong bill, the last cocktail I ordered was substandard. For some reason there were a lot more mosquitoes than there were at another property I stayed earlier just a few blocks away.

It’s a beautiful set of 5 historic buildings in a very good location. Our room was very nice and all of the staff were very nice as well. The infinity pool was great and being able to access the ocean for a swim was a big bonus. Having a restaurant/bar onsite was very convenient.

In our room we had one tiny trash can in the bathroom. And on the property there weren’t any trash cans either.

We had a spacious room that had high ceilings and many windows so very bright because we had a corner unit. There was a little kitchenette with small fridge where we could store some drinks and snacks. Also a coffee machine (you have to buy the coffee pods). Lovely restaurant with good food and drinks, great service. Also an infinity pool that was never too crowded.

Our room was a city view corner unit and spacious and clean, the only issue was that a few of the windows did not close completely and therefore it was loud due to the traffic and the wifi at the pool was very 'iffy'.

The staff, as first point of contact, were really welcoming, helpful and friendly. We upgraded to an ocean view room, at Ghislaine’s suggestion, with a big balcony and it was superb. So glad we did. Breakfast was delicious. Location excellent as walking distance into main town and pick-up point for trips.
