sat for 45 minutes and no one really helped us, at the reception they said that they had other work. There was a reservation for 2 rooms with 2 people in each room, but in the print preview it showed as a bag that for 1 person. We were told to call booking ourselves, although it was not our mistake, we were traveling from the USA and there was a long way and it is strange that when you pay such money the employees did not even try to figure it out and help with the reservation. The hotel itself is super.

Well appointed hotel just opened in 2022. Gardens and grounds beautiful. Staff are numerous and obliging. All meals are buffets the selections are excellent and you can ask for food not displayed.

Work still going on in and around the building. TV with it services page sometimes worked. No real greeting on arrival yet tour company guests had drinks and chocolates on their arrival. Swimming pool in the shade in October. No definition of boundaries with adjacent lower grade sister hotels . Beach area nice but 10 minutes walk away. Also nothing explained as to which bars and restaurants are included in an all inclusive booking. This is essential as several restaurants and bars are evidently not included.

Very clean and luxury hotel. Food is great and staff is super polite. Whenever we go to Cyprus, Merit Diamond will be our choice.

The food and drink was fabulous. The staff were very friendly and attentive. It was lovely not being surrounded by loads of badly behaved children. When some tried to get an under 14 in the restaurant the staff were soon to challenge. The welcome packing the room was exceptional.

The hotel was very hot! Luckily this was altered with the air conditioning.

The merit has everything you need. Staff is amazing. Rooms are beautiful spa swimming pool food is beautiful they think of everything we went for 1 night and stayed for 3 its like heaven on earth so peaceful will definitely be back again

Location is great and facilities are world class. Staff is very attentive and friendly. F&B was top notch.
