Amazing hotel what a find! First time to North Cyprus for a family occasion so we went in a bit blind but felt we’d hit pot luck with the Ship Inn. From before we arrived they answered all messages and accommodated our requests for a pool view and date change then from the moment we arrived every member of the the team at the Ship Inn were helpful and polite they could not do enough for you. From reception, to housekeeping, bar/restaurant and lovely manager everyone was brilliant. We had a garden room which is the older style it suited our needs could probably do with an upgrade (more sockets/storage) but so clean, maid service everyday for linen towels etc.and a wonderful balcony with a great pool view we loved the location of the room and were very happy there in fact sorry to leave! Breakfast is great so much choice and every lunch/dinner we ate in the pool bar was delicious so fresh and well presented - addicted to the chicken Caesar salad! Plenty of sunbeds lovely chilled area around the pool with cabanas perfect for an afternoon read. We hope to return thank you!

Breakfast was good. Didn't eat there in the evening but others did & appeared to enjoy it. If we stayed again we would probably try an evening meal there. Location is very good, close enough to Kyrenia but nice & quiet at night. Staff are all very nice & helpful. Short walk into Kyrenia but also very easy to get dolmus into town & nearby villages. Walking distance of a few restaurants & supermarket. Would recommend & would stay there again.

A little more variety at breakfast from day to day would have been nice but not a deal breaker. Breakfast was good.

Nice location on main road. Good value with full apartment for decent price. Good breakfast for decent price. Clean.

Walk up to third floor. No elevator. They first gave us one on first floor, but stairs within apartment, with bed on different level than bathroom. That doesn't work for us since we pee several times a night. They were very helpful getting a new unit, although on third floor. Key needed to be in slot for power to work. Only one key. Bed had only a quilt for cover, no sheet or other blanket. warm enough, but hard to regulate temp in bed.

Swimming pool lovely , staff were very friendly and helpful, free breakfast was nice, meals were really good and value for money. The apartment was clean. We stayed in 601 the shower and bath needs an update only aspect which we disliked.

Slight powercut when we arrived and staff fixed us with a hotel room until the power came back so we had 1 hours downtime of power but after all ok. We were given complimentary lunch the following day to make up for this staff were really great just be aware if you get a powecut the staff will help.

I made this booking on behalf of my Grandparents; who returned for their second stay at the hotel. I haven't been able to get a completely detailed review out of them, but I would just like to say a HUGE THANK YOU to the staff at The Ship Inn Hotel. My Grandmother was unexpectedly taken ill on the second day of their trip and was taken to hospital by Ambulance. My Grandfather was having to go back and forth from the hotel, to the hospital every day and had nothing but good things to say about how the staff were helping him and also checking in on how my Grandmother was doing. He had so many nice things to say about the staff and how they treated them both when this happened, so I am extremely grateful. It's such a shame that their stay was cut short, but the way the team reacted in this scenario couldn't have been nicer.

I think it's one of the best hotels for those who don't like the concept of a large multi-storey hotel. The breakfast menu is quite satisfactory with many options, the common areas are well maintained, clean, the hotel staff is friendly.

In the room we stayed in, there were enough hangers in the wardrobe, but we looked for a hanger behind the door to hang small things like bags. In the bathroom, the area where items such as shower gel and shampoo were placed was very small, the shower handset holder in the shower was very low, so it was necessary to hold the shower handset in the hand, and the wifi was broken from time to time. However, when considered in general, these deficiencies are small enough to be ignored. I would definitely recommend it to people going to Cyprus.

Good outside area with night pool and outside bar

People were taking all the pool towels. 1 couple had 6 between them. None left when we asked. Should make people give room numbers before handing out. Menu at outside bar in euros, should have Turkush lire on there as well. Breakfast was not as good as last time. Outside bar shut at night. Was booked in accommodation across fm hotel complex which was too far away. Reception managed to book us into a 2 bed apartment on site.

Staff friendliness, availability, and living area cleanliness. Daily cleaning in our apartment. Fresh fruit breakfast and wide variety of choices.

Gym area needs some attention and A/C to make it a pleasanter experience. Pool paving needs daily mopping to remove puddles, yet pool was very clean. Breakfast was pleasant, fresh, calm and well-staffed but nothing special. Nicer breads would be terrific.

Lovely hotel, staff very friendly, rooms spacious, air con works great, plenty hot water. Fridge in the room and tea and coffee facilities. Breakfast inc and had plenty of hot and cold choices. Reception staff and bar staff really nice friendly and helpful. Pool area nice.

The only issue we had was WiFi not very strong, could not really open some pages. Even though we were in the main building.

We asked for a room overlooking the pool and we received just that. The ac didn't work properly but we managed. It was a nice room and bathroom and accessible to everything. The staff lovely were very helpful apart from one incident in the pool bar when it was more important for the waiter to talk to his girlfriend than serve us drinks! Meals were very nice.

We asked for cleaning staff to come back later as it was too early. They didn't come back and our room was not cleaned for 3 days. Breakfast could be improved and no ac in the restaurant was terrible. Warn people parking under tree at front of hotel that it will drop wax like rubbish all over your car.
