The staff were friendly, attentive, and went out their way to help with anything we asked. Our key card stopped working at one point, and the technical engineer gentleman came out to help within minutes. The room was spacious. We stayed in the Duplex Quadruple Room. At breakfast, there was a good variety for a 3 star. It was quiet, relaxing, peaceful, and in a great location.

There was no phone in our room but it was not a big deal. Some of the plates and glasses were chipped that we were served in. Internet connection was pretty bad from our third floor, which was quite frustrating. No problem with the connection in the restaurants or pool area.

Check in at this hotel was by far one of the best ever check-in experiences we have had and superseded many of the 5* hotels we have been to. We had booked a family room but the lovely Ayten on the reception desk had worked out we were travelling with an older teenager and offered us 2 separate double rooms instead at no extra charge which suited us perfectly- thank you Ayten. We were then ushered to the restaurant overlooking the pool and served sparkling wine and given a beautiful platter of fresh fruit to enjoy. The two rooms we were given were opposite each other and both had large double beds and were very clean. As some of the other reviews say, decoration and furnishings are a little tired and shabby in places but if you can look beyond these the rooms are fine. One room ( 109) had an incredibly comfortable bed with plenty of pillows in the room, the other room (108) had an incredibly hard bed and only two pillows. The harder bed was actually very uncomfortable but for two nights we managed. What makes the hotel fabulous is the pool area and the access to the sea/beach. The pool was larger than I anticipated with separate jacuzzi areas and plenty of sun loungers around it. There was no need for a ridiculously early start to claim a sun bed which was a huge bonus! The breakfast food was varied and plentiful and the fresh omelette/pancake station a real bonus for a smaller hotel. The only negative I experienced were other pushy residents who didn't like to join a short queue for this and would rudely walk to the front and get served straight away. The hotel also has a lovely pool bar/restaurant with very reasonably priced food and drink that were of good quality. Overall, a fabulous place for a quiet break and as we live in Cyprus, we will definitely return.

When we first went to our room and opened the mini bar/fridge there was a can of beer in there that was perforated and had leaked over the rest of the fridge. We rang down twice and asked for a cleaner but didn't get one. When I followed this up with a trip to reception, I was told the cleaners had gone home so I had to deal with it myself and clean it all up. The local area has a few nice restaurants ( the one directly next to the hotel was particularly good and well-priced) but there's not much else around that had any life. We didn't want loud and crowded but the two local bars were dead.

The pool area. Modern and clean.. There are plenty of sunbeds. Bar for a cold beer. And of course, right on the sea. Could get in anytime for a snorkel or swim. All the staff we encountered were very friendly and helpful. We had lunch a couple of times at the pool bar, and the food was very nice. The cleaner was there daily if you wanted a change of towels or your room cleaning. She was very friendly, always with a smile. The breakfast was plentiful and fresh. The egg station was great. Fresh eggs anyway you wanted them.

The noise at times from the 'Chilli' bar next door was very loud. Sometimes until 2am in the morning. I understand this is not the hotels fault. We didn't mind. We are a fairly young family, but I can imagine for some people this may be a problem. The WiFi in the room wasn't the best either. Around the pool was great. In the room, it was very weak. Also the parking... it was, at times, ridiculous. Cars blocked in. However, they did always manage to get cars moved for you to get out. The car park is nowhere near big enough for the size of the hotel. Just want to add, in no way did any of this detract from our overall stay. We would definitely return to the hotel and stay.

We had a truly lovely stay at Manolya Hotel! I visited with my mom and everything exceeded our expectations. The hotel was clean, comfortable, and had a peaceful, welcoming atmosphere. The highlight for us was definitely the sea—crystal clear and absolutely beautiful, just steps from the hotel. Our room was cozy and well-kept, and we really appreciated the friendly and helpful staff throughout our stay. It’s the perfect place to relax and enjoy the beauty of Cyprus. Highly recommend for anyone looking for a calm and scenic getaway by the water!

The location of this hotel is excellent, right on the seafront with a beautiful pool, comfortable loungers and a very nice poolside restaurant. The buffet breakfast is amazing with almost everything you could think of, even sparkling wine!The staff are fantastic and very helpful and friendly. There are numerous good restaurants within walking distance.

The beds are very, very hard and caused me a problem with my hip. However a mattress topper was found for me and this made the bed a little better. Didn’t like the number of dogs wandering around the pool and outside breakfast area. The metal steps down to the sea were very dangerous with whole steps missing. No plug in bathroom basin.

Had an amazing 8 night stay, very clean hotel, comfortable rooms, lovely pool area and a very decent breakfast. Staff were so good, greeted warmly at reception on a very late check in and the pool bar guys were great, especially Ed…Thanks Ed for looking after us :) Cleaners did a great job and restaurant guys were very efficient. Location is superb, walking distance to lots of fantastic restaurants and bars and easy to flag down a bus outside to go into town. One of the highlights was the steps into the crystal clear sea and snorkelling…take your snorkel gear if you have some. The dogs and cats provided us a lot of entertainment and added a real homely feel to the hotel. Already planning our next visit. A real gem in Northern Cyprus.

Honestly nothing. The carpet in the hallway on floor 2 is pretty tired but we did notice floor one had been resurfaced and saw the materials for the other floors so I’m guessing in the pipelines to be done soon, it does look really nice with the laminate flooring.

The staff were all so welcoming and helpful. Location was really good with restaurants bars and shops on the doorstep. The pool area was great with loads of sun beds, and access to the pool bar well run by Ed and Saint. There was a large very clean pool and two sets of stairs going directly down into the sea. Breakfast offered a huge choice of cereals, toast, continental breakfast and there was also an egg chef on hand. We spend a lot of time in the North, and this hotel has the best value for money in my opinion. We chose Lapta for a change so it would not be so busy with traffic as you get when nearer Kyrenia, and we could not have been happier. I have already booked two further visits there, one in two weeks time with friends, and again with a group of friends for Xmas, that is how impressed we were.

We stayed with family twice in this hotel. I will stay here again on our third. The owner of the hotel, Mehmet, is a very kind and caring person. The hotel is located near by the see and owns a big enough open pool. Breakfast was rich. There are very good fish restaurants on walking distance (Calamari) and a famous butcher (Yorgo’s butcher) serving homemade wine🤤

Its better to hire a car if you want to visit Girne and sightseeings around. They also provide car rent services.

The hotel is settled in a nice area, has lovely beach, sandy and rocky great for snorkelling, lots of fish in, great swimming pool, delicious and variety of breakfast, and hospitable staff, close to main road but no noise coming. Air condition worked perfect in rooms. spectacular sunsets. nice interiors of common areas, especially, restaurant, reception lobby, halls.

we ordered 4 single beds, we got one double and 2 single, the bathroom needs to be renovated and in bright colours, and laminated floor in room replaced. our car got blocked once and only for 15 min thanks to reception staff.
