This is my second stay in Amathus beach hotel, but they never let me down…. Even though they provide the best quality of service, somehow the price is not arrogant! In Limassol we have several 5 star hotels but I am really sure this hotel is different from others. There are some hotels in Limassol which is almost same price as this hotel, but the service is not worth the 5star level. Others have great service too but the price is not welcoming people… And I really have no idea how come, but all of the quality of this hotel is in the different level. If you have never stayed here, I recommend you stay so that you can get how different this hotel is from others… If you are the owner of the other hotel in Limassol, you really should spy here and have speak with the manager of this hotel!

Our stay at the Amathus was a great one. Breakfast is great and had a good selection. breakfast staff was nice and helpful. Housekeeping was a highlight very kind, the room was well maintained during our stay. They cleaned it twice a day and left chocolates it was such a nice touch. We celebrated both of our sons birthdays during this holiday, they sent us a champagne and a chocolate cake with a candle and orange juice for the kids twice, meaning on each birthday. which was very appreciative and nice. The kids loved it. The kids club was a highlight (our kids 2+5). The staff there so nice and kind and they were doing their job happily with good energy. They also celebrated our elder son birthday there and sang to him + sent both our sons birthday presents to our room with birthday cards! It is a memory we will cherish. The place there is clean and has plenty of options and games for kids, parents can stay there and watch the kids and you can also leave and come back whenever. very convenient. All free of charge. outdoor play area was a great addition as well. The kids pool was "heated". To be honest the water was a bit cold (not freezing though) but we managed to enjoy it during April which was good enough for us. The room was an inland view, no terrace which is unfortunate and was a bit of a problem when we wanted to dry our wet swimsuits. We stayed during mid April, the weather was great and hot. However, the outside main pool wasn't heated. cold water. Inside pool was a good addition and was heated, but it was salty water which the kids didn't like. The room was spacious and had enough room for us 4.

We didn't like that we had to remind the reception that we are celebrating our kids birthdays. for them to send a complementary cake. We felt comfortable to remind them as during our check in process they were the ones to notice that we are celebrating both of our kids birthdays and said they will send a cake. However as mentioned before, they did send after all and in a very impressive way, tasty cake and drinks which we appreciated.

The fact that you have a few different sweeming pools and restaurants.

The prices of the restaurants are super high. Even the basic one, the cocktails, the basic food, and even a small espresso, the location of this hotel is so far of any street marketing, so you basically have no option. If you decide to order food through Wolt , they won't let you sit with it in the lobby. There is not enough silence between the rooms, I could hear each walking above me or crying outside of my door. The internet is so low! I basically didn't have any Wifi besides the lobby. The breakfast was good, but it didn't change at all through the week we were here My conclusion is that it's a beautiful hotel but I won't be back here

The hotel has great facilities; everything from selection of adult and kid pools, gym, spa, wellness center, steam room and Finnish sauna and indoor pool. Everything is new and clean and well maintained. The food was amazing. One of the best breakfast buffets. Food in Kalypso restaurant and beach restaurant is exceptionally delicious and good value for money. We really liked the hotel area that is large and does not feel crowded even when it was fully booked. It has large lawn areas and feels like a jungle which is nice! The hotel has two beach areas with crystal clear water and large swimming area. Both have sandy bottom and cleaned daily. Our daughter loved the kids’ shows; joggler, minidisco, science and magic show! The performer were very good and entertainment lasted for 1h!!! In some other hotels it is just 20min. We were positively surprised. Kids club was amazing with many caretakers who were actually playing with kids and offering many activities from face-painting to musical chairs and play dough. Kids’ pool was shaded and warm water. The service was very good and hotel staff were super friendly and helpful with everything. We would definitely come back again.

I would consider prohibiting blocking sunchairs with towels around the kid’s pool area. Because there are enough chairs for everyone.

Exceptionally Friendly Staff: Every member of the team was helpful, polite, and went out of their way to assist. Breakfast Buffet: A consistent yet satisfying variety of dishes every morning. Sweet Bar at Dinner: Always delightful, with dinner options generally enjoyable despite a few missed expectations. Facilities: Well-maintained and enjoyable, perfect for relaxation and family time. Beach: Clean and pleasant overall, offering a nice spot to unwind. Restaurant & Bar Variety: A wide selection of drinks and food at reasonable prices, especially compared to outside vendors.

Room Cleaning: Although room service occurred twice daily, the overlooked snack under the cabinet suggested a focus only on visible surfaces. Swimming Pool Setup: An indoor, freshwater pool would enhance the experience, especially for families looking to avoid all-day sun exposure in the saltwater outdoor pool. Broken Glass on Beach: A single incident, but worth noting for safety reasons. Excursions: Trips to the old town and My Mall didn’t live up to expectations and were costly in terms of taxi fares (around 30 euros each way).

Our stay at the Amathus Hotel was exceptional from start to finish. The service was outstanding—especially at the bar with Sabine and at reception with Nicole, both of whom were professional, attentive, and made us feel incredibly welcome. It was a pleasure getting to know Sabine over the course of our stay. Breakfast was phenomenal—truly nothing was missing. We appreciated the thoughtful arrangement of separate lounges for families with children and for adults only, which made mornings relaxing for everyone. The kids club staff were incredibly warm and caring, making our children feel right at home. There are plenty of activities to keep the little ones entertained all day :) The hotel offers a variety of swimming pools, including ones with slides and a toddler pool, as well as quieter options for adults. We dined at the hotel’s Limanaki restaurant and were impressed by both the top-notch service and the delicious food—all right by the sea. As a special treat, we stayed in a suite with a private pool, and it was absolutely delightful. The entire experience was effortless, from the spacious and plentiful parking to the overall convenience of the hotel. This is a place truly worth staying at, and I would happily return again and again.

The only small hiccup was some drilling noise on Saturday morning around 8:30am. However, when we reported it to the reception, they responded immediately and professionally. We were told it was an external company that had started work outside the designated quiet hours by mistake. It was quickly addressed and never happened again. We truly appreciated how seriously the staff took our feedback.

We recently stayed at the Amathus Beach Hotel in Limassol, and it was an amazing experience from start to finish! The service was exceptional—staff members were attentive. The pools were fantastic, offering plenty of space to relax, and the rooms were spotless and well-maintained. We opted for the half-board option, and the variety of food exceeded our expectations. There were plenty of choices for everyone, including a special selection for the kids. The location is a bit far from the city center, but that didn't affect our overall experience. We truly enjoyed every moment of our stay and are already looking forward to coming back! Highly recommended for anyone looking for a relaxing and luxurious vacation in Limassol.

We noticed that there was no kids' menu available at the pool area, which would have been a nice addition.

First of all, the hotel area, rooms and pool are very clean, room service is twice a day. The breakfast is very good ( can be refreshed more than that ). Also the dinner buffet was good ( each day different kitchen ). The kids club and the staff are great, 6 girls were working at the same time in the kids club !!

Didn't like that in dinner i need to pay to drink water ( not sure why 5 start hotel do that ). Also, the dinner buffet can have more options.

Location, food and especially the staff. They are incredibly nice, attentive and dedicated to make your stay perfect. We celebrated my husband’s birthday and we found a surprise in our room - a cake and champagne. My husband thought I arranged for that but I didnt, it was them ❤️ they bring small chocolate candies in the evening, beautiful flowers in the rooms, they help with everything from car parking to excellent service in the restaurants. Rarely I saw this level of hospitality. Also, the rooms and common spaces are spotless, cleaning is absolutely well done.

Rooms on the back dont have a balcony, so drying towels or bathing suites is a bit complicated. next time I will book sea view even if the price is higher (fair). Food and drinks in the main restaurant are overpriced. Especially drinks (9 eur for a tea, 16 for a non alcholic cocktail or a smoothie).

❤️: We enjoyed the pool areas very much. Kids pool area was really nice. Adult pool areas are huge and spacious. Most importantly, I like how the life guards on duty kept eyes on the children, making sure they are safe from the slide areas. Lifeguards are also friendly and helpful. ❤️: Buffet dinner line had a great amount of food selections! We love the salad bar (5-6 variations) and grilled meat section! Beautiful outdoor seating and great service from the staffs. For kids, they have amazing ala-carte menu and my child was enjoying so much. ❤️: Special touches for my child’s birthday. The hotel team had arranged complimentary cake and the decor we requested was beautiful. Thank you so much to the team. ❤️: In general, the hotel staffs are well trained, communicated well and hospitality was great. Maintenance to the quality of hotel rooms and facilities were excellent. Very clean and comfortable rooms. Eco-friendly shower amenities too. Their shower and shampoo have great relaxing scents.

The flooring of the shower area is very slippery. Would suggest to have an anti slip mat for families with kids.
