I recently had the pleasure of staying at this nice hotel, and I couldn't be more satisfied with my experience. The room was immaculately clean and well-maintained, providing a comfortable and relaxing environment. The accommodation itself was modern and well-appointed with all the amenities I needed for a pleasant stay. Additionally, the staff were incredibly friendly and attentive, always ready to assist with a smile. Overall, it was a fantastic experience, and I would highly recommend this hotel to anyone looking for a great place to stay.

While my stay was overall very enjoyable, there was one aspect I didn't like. If you make a reservation through Booking.com, you're unable to charge anything to your room. This means you need to pay for meals and bar services on the spot, which can be inconvenient. Aside from this, I didn't have any other issues with my stay.

I have stayed in this hotel several times and I appreciate the predictability: you know you will find the same level of services. The same bed, the same clean rooms towels and linen, the same (relatively) varied breakfast, the same kind (to neutral) staff, the same well functioning equipment in the room (air conditioning, refrigerator, furniture etc.). This last trip was in a period without big tourist groups, and there were significantly better services than in the periods with many tourists in the hotel.

The free coffee offered. But this is a minus in all hotels I know from here.

The Operational team at Sun Hotel were fantastic. Operational Managers where very attentive and would be on site continuously. I attended the hotel with my disabled mother, and all our needs where met. Location of the hotel is a huge plus, local amenities surrounding to cater for all your needs. Be warned the are some highly tasty eaterys in the vicinity, you will be spoilt for choice food wise, from dinning in at the hotels to restaurant or walking just meters away 😋. Central city was a short taxi ride away, where you can go site seeing, shop for bargains and enjoy the most authentic turkish cuisines and culture.

I loved the size of the walk-in shower unit, however having a high fixed shower that wasn't movable and just a low spout/tap to rinse lower limbs wasn't ideal. Ideally there would have been handheld shower in addition to rinse down. This isn't a problem as we worked round it.

This hotel is more 4 stars than 3 stars, very good facilities. The pool on the roof is incredible, the breakfast is good, the dinner buffet is good, but a little expensive, anyway the hotel also offers à la carte service, which is a good alternative and cheaper. The room is impeccably clean and bottles of water are provided every day. Good hotel with good service.

The location was what I liked least, there is not much to see or visit in the north Nicosia but of course the hotel cannot do anything about it.

It was better than I expected from a 3 star hotel. It really should be 4 stars. Clean, roomy and my room must have been soundproofed, normally in many hotels I have stayed in 4 and 5 stars you could hear especially at night and the morning people talking in hallway and doors closing, here not one sound. Breakfast was more than one could eat with a variety of foods from the region. We even decided to have a glass of wine and dessert before retiring and it was perfectly executed, tasty and reasonably priced for a hotel. We live 1.5 hours away but since I had to have an eye op and needed to be in the docs office by 8.30 next day we decided better to stay in Lefkosa than to drive back and forth. I choose the hotel because it was close to where my eye doctor's office is, I didn't know anything about it but I would highly recommend it to anyone who needs to stay in the area.

Nothing not to like.

The hotel was well managed.I enjoyed the breakfast,used the gym a little.Best of all the room was warm(winter visit during a cold spell),bed was comfortable,wifi was always working.The TV had horse racing from Dubai,Turkish football and BBC news plus Netflix.I had dinner there one evening and it was good value and enjoyable.

I didn't like the location or Lefkosa (Nicosia).Everything of interest to me (the old town ,Ataturk football stadium)is just too far away to walk.The hotel airport shuttle is expensive at 30 euros.(It cost more to get to the airport than the flight).The kibhas airport shuttle bus stop is too far to walk to. My inbound flight was cancelled and I arrived a day late.I informed them as soon as I learned and said "100% not arriving today.You can rent the room" They are just too big to give me an extra night .even though my two day booking was extended many times. The cleaners came in everyday even when I said they didnt need to so I didnt like leaving anything of value in the room.

Helpful and kind stuff, nice rooms, clean, the guys in the reception very helpful, also the stuff in the restaurant and the lobby, the room was very clean. Great for family or couples. Close to a main street for restaurants or shopping.

Should add more things in the breakfast such as omelette. The coffee not that taste, but overall it was a good breakfast. Far a little bit from the old city and ledra street, 10 mins by taxi (10 euro). I think 40 mins by walking.

I liked my stay, mostly because of meals served and ambiance of the hotel, both common and private parts of the hotel were new and spot clean. I enjoyed the roof deck even in winter months.

Nothing particular that I didn't like. I was only surprised that my EU sim card didn't work on Turkish side properly and didn't show correct time (but -1h) which made me late to my meeting. Off course that is not fault of the hotel. This is more of a warning to other EU travelers to check the time and not miss a flight. No bedside table lamps but spot lights shining to your face, maybe a cultural difference..

The Pool and the room was clean and the room cleaning staff were hardworking. They clean the room as soon as you requested. The Breakfast and the coffee was good. There could be more Hellim cheese as it is the national cheese of North Cyprus. The hotel is itself very clean, modern and orderly. Also Good for value. Parking places were abundant and close to the elevator. Elevators are not busy. Easy stay. The hotel is 5 min walk aday from one of the most vibrant parts of the city with cafes, restaurants. Public transportation is poor in Cyprus. So renting a car is advisable.

Balconys are very close to watch other, Which is normal but If you leave the window open, a bunch of long woman hair would fly into your room. May be the hotel must warn the guests not to brush hair in balkony, just as they tell not to smoke inside the rooms. Also the hotel is no smoking but corridors sometimes smell heavy tabacco smoke.

Hotel Sun is I'd say a more quality version of a Premier Inn in UK - has everything and you know what youre getting for your money. But the pool and rooftop terrace is a bonus! The cheapest deals are on booking.com. The TVs have Netflix too if you have your own login. There is also a fridge/freezer in the room and a sofa if you choose a premier room.

Breakfast was the only negative for me, but if you like toast you'll be fine.
