Staff very professional and helpful. Excellent breakfast. Very convenient for metro. Shower had good water temperature and pressure. Kettle, tea and coffee provided.

No air conditioning control and only a very small duvet. Didn't sleep particularly well. Not much sound proofing. Woken up by cleaning staff hoovering on corridor and bathroom noises from floor above. Bathroom - odd layout with toilet very very close to a radiator and wall. More towel rails and wardrobe coat hangers would be needed if two people sharing. Shower door didn't stay closed properly. Bathroom door needs attention - it sticks on the floor tiles. A safe in the room would have been a bonus.

Location. Not so far from bus, metro station and places where to eat available nearby. Comfortable. This is the kind of place where you would like to stay if looking for a calm and relaxing time. It has a lovely garden/terrace where you can relax after walking around the cosmopolitan Berlin. Staff. Kind and friendly people who offers all kind of information you ask about. And provide you with all your booking details what’s included and what needs for extra fee. Breakfast. Variety of options for those who might have any specific diet or intolerances. Like gluten intolerance in my case.

The room we got was a bit noisy at nights. It was located on the street side so kind of expected.

Property is on very good location near public transport, near central streets. The street was calm and clean with many plants and flowers on it. Breakfast area was very pleasant, glass biulding with plants and flowers surrounded. On the table there was flowers too every morning.

Peoperty itself was clean with big windows, good light, comfortable beds, comfortable clean chairs, Bathroom equipment very good.

Staff were very friendly throughout, and went above and beyond to accommodate my wishes. Coffee & local guidebooks and coffee table books about Berlin available at reception. Single room spacious and clean, with ample room for baggage, and a closet. Good selection for breakfast, bright and airy conservatory to enjoy green views even on a cool day like when I visited. Free local newspaper. Non-dairy options on request, great extras for breakfast such as locally produced spreads and jams. Various cereals, including home-made healthy granola. Location is convenient for public transport. Malls, post office, supermarkets, drugstore, all in walking distance. Swedish church & café across the road. Good shower, radiators controlled individually, no noisy central AC/heating system. Windows open for fresh air.

Room somewhat basic and tired, have seen even youth hostels that looked fresher. Duvet thin, noticed the equally thin extra blanket in the closet too late. Curtains thick but bright morning sun comes in anyway, lighting up the room. Exterior of hotel looks depressing and old, 70s style. Shame considering the nicely decorated entrance area and super friendly staff. Many people smoking right behind the reception area, at the back of building, making the hotel entrance smell of smoke; should be asked to keep a distance from the hotel.

While this hotel is off the beaten path, it is highly accessible to the subway if you need to get to anywhere in Berlin. The benefits of the location in a quiet neighborhood with trees and birds outweigh any potential inconvenience. Plus the best Sichuan food I have eaten in decades is only a block aeay.

The room does not have its own refrigerator, although you can rent a portable one. Similarly there is no safe.

This is a welcoming hotel with well-managed staff and a friendly feel. The breakfast was quite unique and healthy with in-house produce. Due to mobility issues we were upgraded to a lower floor, which was appreciated. The location was handy for the U-Bahn and a 30 minute stroll took us to the Ku'damm. Some local restaurants were worth investigating. We would gladly return to this hotel.

Difficult to fault it as they were helpful but having the lift out of action for over 4 nights was something that should have been fixed more quickly or the guests should have been informed about in advance.

Staff were amazing and available 24/7. Always greet you with a smile and a hello and ready to assist. Room was a good size for a solo traveller. Quiet room. The breakfast was fresh and lots of variety. The garden outside was beautiful and a must to relax in if the weather permits. There are even little squirrels or similar to entertain you! Room cleaning staff were fantastic and very helpful Overall I had a great stay

For 7 nights, it was difficult not having my own fridge to put my own food items in My pillow was uncomfortable Also, the breakfast could add some simple and easy to digest plain breads. A toaster for the bread is also a good idea

Excellent breakfast buffet. Friendly and attentive staff in the breakfast room and on the reception desk. A very good three-star hotel for anyone looking for nice accommodation with no frills. Nice and close to Güntzelstrasse U-Bahn Station.

Wi-Fi could have been better in the room (on the third floor), but this is a common problem in ALL hotels, so that is rather a minor point. People chatting loudly in the street below at night, which meant I had to sleep with the window closed, but again, this is to be expected in a major city when your room is on the street side, so it's not exactly the hotel's fault.

It was close to the trains so we could walk to the hotel. The staff was friendly, courteous and helpful. Most importantly it was so clean and the bed was very comfortable. The hotel was very quiet so good sleeps. There was free coffee and tea in the lobby and we loved the cappuccinos. Breakfast was in a bright and cheerful place and there was a lot of choice. We enjoyed the muselai, yogurt and fruit. There was more choice than that and the staff was lovely there, too. We had our bicycles with us and they were kept in a safe underground garage. I’d definitely recommend this hotel.

We walked everywhere and found that the demographic near the hotel smoked A LOT. People smoked on the street walking, standing, or sitting in groups at cafés. It was not pleasant and was down right irritating because we don’t smoke. However, it was smoke free in our hotel as far as I could tell.

Absolutely amazing staff. Very helpful, kind and polite. The room was of regular size in a very quiet and clean area, lots of restaurants and greenery nearby, beautiful garden belonging to the hotel. An hour walk to Charlottenburg and other tourist sites. Fantastic breakfast, home made spreads, granola, honey etc… everything super tasty and fresh:) I truly recommend!

The smell in the room could be a bit fresher.
