Lovely, modern, and nice hotel with free mini-bar and balcony rooms in a peaceful neighborhood. Still near many attractions in West-Berlin, and with many restaurants and bars nearby. If you want to stay a bit out of the main tourist area, yet near, this is an excellent choice.

Both elevators were out of service on occasions during my stay, but walking up to the 5th floor was okay and gave me some extra cardio for free. They are working to get them fixed, but I still find it odd that both elevators can be out of service at the same time. When they did work only one was operating, leading to long waiting times. Hope they get them fixed soon.

As others have mentioned, the breakfast is exceptional. Such a varied choice of food and drinks and the staff were so attentive. The bedrooms are large and comfortable and the bedding and linens were very good quality. The location is quiet, but near shops, restaurants and a short walk from the U Bahn. Having access to the Executive Lounge was a great perk to the trip and we were delighted to be provided with free snacks and drinks. We have wonderful memories of our trip to Berlin and staying at the Hyperion was a big part of making them so special.

Please invest on insulating either the rooms near the service lift or the lift well itself at the far end of the property which makes a terrible sound going between floors. I am sure others have noticed the sound. It started quite early in the morning around 6:30am and went on to midnight. It didn't spoil the stay, but I would have liked a bit more sleep.

Well situated close to GlutzenstraBe UBabn.. lots of close by facilities.. Easy check in... Great, comfortable and quiet, modern room. Clean and well thought out bathroom.. Breakfast was very good and available from 06h30 which was handy.. lots of choice for every type of person. We didn't use the WiFi as it was a bit cumbersome to set up.. Room service was lacking twice when one day towels were changed and toilet roll not replaced when run out. But these were small details.. The hotel was of high quality and would recommend - we stayed for 6 days .

When attending the ITB in Berlin, it is a great hotel to stay at. Easy access to the U9, connecting to S-Bahn at Zoologischer Garten. from the hotel you are at the ITB in 26 minutes. Easy 25 minute ride with a lime as well. Enough opportunities around the hotel for dinner. Breakfast in hotel is great and restaurant in hotel is good value for money. Staff are all fabulous. When you walk out the hotel to the square take the street to the left. there is a little living room type of Italian place run by an "eldery" couple. Absolutely marvellous. Cash only.

Such a large hotel needs more lifts in the lobby. 2 of which one not working. the snd at times did not work either. Staff were great assisting and it is not their fault, however Reception staff acted professional towards "unpleasant" disappointed guests. I was at 534, right next to an other elevator, so I could go down to 2 from there and then walk the stairs.

Fantastic hotel. The staff were all very friendly and made us feel welcome right away. Beautiful lobby and bar. We stayed in a Junior Suite with executive lounge access. The room was huge! Huge bedroom, huge bathroom (with the biggests mirror I've ever seen in a hotel room!), big walk in closet (we weren't expecting that so a nice surprise! Then it had a big lounge area with a sofa and second TV and a balcony. Very nice view from the room of the Prager Platz green. The Executive lounge was very nice. Quiet and with a decent selection of soft drinks in the fridge as well as bottled beer, red and white wine and (depending of time of day) a selection of snacks. All to help yourself too as part of of the lounge access. We could have saved a lot of money by eating and drinking in here more often but we had too many other places we wanted to try out! The included breakfast was also very good with a wide variety of options. The whole hotel felt very clean and well looked after. The customer service was also fantastic as we managed to leave our Amazon FireTV stick in the TV in the room. I emailed them about it and got a reply within a couple of hours saying they had found it and asking for my address to send it back to me. It's also only 2 minutes walk from the nearest underground station which we found we could get to anywhere from very easily (once we got the hang of the Berlin public transport system!)

Only 2 slight negatives I could think of... one of the two lifts to the lobby was out of order when we stayed. Not a huge problem as we never had to wait more than a couple of minutes for the lift. The other thing we thought was a bit strange (and this is really nit-picking now) is the lack of pictures on the walls in the room. It felt a bit odd to have so much wall space with nothing on it especially in the room's lounge area which was a large room with just a sofa, a TV and a cupboard.

I recently stayed at the Hyperion Berlin with my family and had an overall excellent experience. The hotel is located in a very quiet area, which made for a peaceful and relaxing stay. The rooms were exceptionally clean and comfortable, with a modern and well-maintained toilet and shower that added to the convenience. Breakfast had a great variety of delicious options, and the quality was very good. The reception staff were very friendly and accommodating, ensuring a smooth check-in and addressing any requests with professionalism.

Unfortunately, there was one staff member at breakfast who was unexpectedly unfriendly on multiple occasions, which led me to raise a complaint. However, I was very impressed with how the management promised to handle the matter, showing a commitment to guest satisfaction. Despite this minor issue, I would highly recommend Hyperion Berlin for its comfort, cleanliness, and excellent service. It’s a wonderful place to stay if you’re looking for a quiet and comfortable stay.

I loved sitting on the Balcony watching the German people. The rooms are lovely, clean, and, big. I loved the large bed its lovely and comfy. Some of the staff were great towards me which helped me a great deal as I am Autistic. Loved the cocktails and the food is delicious.

I didn't like the way 2 members of the staff spoke to both my mum and I at the beginning of the holiday. The guy from, Romania is the loveliest member of staff there. He made me feel very welcome and some of the others should learn from him. I think also you should have a manual in the room to explain the controls how to access the satellite t.v and what you get for your money when in business etc as it's too much to take in at the desk when you have been travelling and tried. If there was a manual we could have read it later and knew what we were entitled too instead of missing out on what we paid for.

I wrote a review in September 2024 of this hotel and was delighted then and said that we would be back in December - and so we were! All that I wrote in September was still absolutely true in December with these two updates - first, we chose a Superior Room on the 6th Floor (with Executive Lounge access) this time (instead of the Comfort Room) and the room was brilliant, very spacious and really well equipped with a huge, incredibly comfortable bed and regular access to the Executive Lounge which we hardly used but which was great nevertheless and second, I heeded my own advice with respect to the car parking and, having noted my car parking number properly this time and having parked in the area specifically for patrons of the Hyperion Hotel, that, too, worked perfectly. It was an exceptional break with excellent staff, great breakfasts, a peaceful area, and very reasonably priced. I love Berlin, one of the world's truly wonderful cities, and I have found the perfect hotel for Berlin as well! We will regularly return.

There was nothing not to like!

Three night stay, first two breakfast spoilt with an exceptional omelette probably best ever experinced, however last morning not cooking and disappointed. Location is little difficult if you need to be centrally located we managed o.k U9 & S5 will take you to Berlin Hbf. However nice quiet location, with facilities close by even had a balcony, room 434. Large spacious room kitchen diner, and minibar beer included. Loved the German loose tea facility at breakfast. Our visit coincided with InnoTrans 2024, and Messe Sud station was conveniently found. Great shower and comfy night sleep in quiet location.

Rather distant from main attractions in Berlin, but it's peaceful location was ample compensation.

Breakfast was really good, lots of selection. Minibar in the room was complimentary (free), although just soft drinks and a beer, replenished daily. Location was great, next to a well connected u-bahn stations. Very clean. Room was big, good wardrobe space, there was a safe. Big shower and nice bathroom.

Limited facilities within the hotel. Next doors balcony ran past our window, lack of privacy because of that if we had the curtains open. No hairdryer in the room.we had a double bed booked, in the room it was two singles next to eachother acting as a double which was slightly uncomfortable and we didn't have a double duvet, it was two singles duvets.
