This is very close to the airport, but a taxi there (you cant walk it as theres no pedestrian paths along a stretch of the motorway) will still cost you 20 euro. But for the convenience i was happy to pay Was a little weird not seeing any staff, its an automatic machine that checks you in/give you your pass code etc. i felt like it was perfectly clean, and acceptable for the nights stay i needed. Its got a bus stop, and shop and macdonalds a short walk away which is useful. But dont stay here if you want to actually see berlin! Get somewhere in the city centre!

No faults. As a solo female traveler i felt a little on edge that when i checked in at night there was no staff at all. No one in sight and i had no idea where to go if I needed someone. But i wasnt really bothered by it, I know friends who would have hated that feeling and wouldnt have slept well. But there you go.

Everything was in order . The gentleman at the reception was a very supportive.

Very far location or may be close location to the airport because taxis from the airport were unwilling to come to ibis budget hotel. I couldn't visit the main city with my son because of location and language barriers. May be my fault.

Very comfortable, breakfast is really good, the location for my purpose is great. And having a parking is always a plus. I’ve been here for the past 3 weeks and just extended for another week

The shower is not great, I believe that if the head of the shower were to be replaced to one that focus the pressure… it would most definitely improve by a great length. I know it’s a budget hotel and all, but also add some curtains to the shower so that it doesn’t make everything wet

This is the continuation of what used to be called Etap Hotels, where I stayed often many years ago before my standards became more upscale. For the budget mined traveller all is here - no frills, just the basics. The location near the airport is ok. There is shopping and gastronomy within walking distance.

Public bathroom is a catastrophe. The check-in machine was o/s, but staff were very helpful and no problem with an early check-in

Staff was very friendly and helpful with late check-in in and assistance in finding transportation.

I arrived late and had missed the notice of prior notifications of late arrivals. I was under the impression that check ins ended at midnight and I arrived at about 2230. The night buzzer didn't work, nor did the after hours telephone number. No one answered. I was afraid I would be stranded at night with nowhere to sleep. Just by luck I happened run into the young teenage man who alerted the night manager in his room. From there the check in was smooth and fine.

Check in is a big issue,, The check in machine is not working,, and there is no one to help you out,, mostly at night.. When I went there,, I had no number to call for help, then the guy saw me on camera,, and then he came out, and did the check in... For the next 2,3 days I helped other guys facing same issue.. Hope you sort it out..

The main problem with this hotel is that for check-in after 22:00 CET you should have local simcard or any simcard for calling the host. (I had data-only and hopefully I have a friend in Berlin who called for me) The hotel itself is perfect for 1 night stay (for 2(3) persons: there are 2 beds). It took me 40min walking from and to the BER airport.

Attach phone number to whatsapp at least!

This is a straightforward budget hotel for one or two nights. Very handy for the airport and the motorway. The room was a good size and the room was very clean. The bed was very comfortable with crisp sheets. The staff were very helpful and the breakfast was simple, but fresh and satisfying Overall, we would stay here again.

The bathroom is very small (I couldn't adjust the shower - I am short!!) and I didn't like having a basin in the corner of the room. The airplanes were a bit noisy, but we expected that because of the proximity to the airport, however the nights were quiet as there are no flights at night... or so rarely that it didn't wake us up.

Perfect for short stay (1-2 nights), close to the airport, great location (next to the Aldi, McDonald’s and bus stop to get to the airport). The value is much higher than the price. It cost almost like a hostel, but you will get the comfort of your own room with a shower.

There was no kettle and fridge, but it was expected.
