It was a charming small older hotel. The people there were super friendly and caring. They would bend over backwards to accommodate your wishes. The two sisters who managed the hotel were the nicest people ever. You would love to have them as your friends. The garden is sweet and you can have your breakfast there, which by the way is outstanding, or in the charming breakfast room with period furniture and gold rimmed dishes. You can also have a glass of wine in the garden in the evening. The location is great, you can easily access public transportation but the hotel is on a quiet street and you can leave your windows open at night. I had a wonderful stay and loved it, especially the people there!
Like in many older boutique hotels there is no AC but you can leave your windows open, then it becomes quite manageable.

This is a very cute little hideaway in the big city. I love the vintage vibe and furniture. The breakfast was supreme, with self-made jam and lovingly prepared food in a wide variety of sweet and savoury dishes. They have an ancient old Calico cat named 'Mary' who's roaming the premises which I adored. The owner and staff are super attentive and friendly. It feels more like you're staying with your auntie who's doting on you than being in a hotel. I stayed in a single room facing the quiet rear-side and it was a perfect resting place for me.
The house is old and the walls are thin. My only gripe is that it's noisy if the house is fully booked and other guests don't pay attention to be quiet.

My stay at this hotel was absolutely wonderful! The location is perfect, making it easy to explore the area. The cozy, home-like atmosphere made me feel incredibly comfortable, and the staff truly went above and beyond to ensure a warm and caring experience. The breakfasts were outstanding, offering a great start to each day. I will definitely stay here again and highly recommend this place to everyone!

Calm area of Berlin, stylish interior, lots of beautiful pictures and details, garden, tasty breakfast and very friendly staff! Due to the hot weather, we got great rooms on the ground floor instead of the attic accommodation. Suddenly I found a portrait of Svetlana Alexievich on the wall, our famous writer from Belarus. Lovely!
Soundproofing of rooms wasn't enough to feel 100% comfortable.

It was like time traveling, to a space to relax and connect. The hotel was very comfortable, the staff was extremely friendly, welcoming and helpful! The beds were very comfortable, the apartment very spacious and very nice decorated! The neighborhood is very quiet, a walking distance from an S-Bahnhof. I can highly recommend this hotel for a family.

It was amazing. The breakfast was really tasty and always perfectly styled. The staff was very friendly and caring. And those mirrors, chandeliers, furniture... and of course the cat :) I definitely recommend!

The charming lady in reception, exceptionally helpful, offering one refreshments when out in the garden and keen to offer advice with regard to restaurants nearby or transportation. Altogether a most enjoyable stay, though the occasion was a sad family event. Will be back!

Wonderful place, my second visit was as good as the first. Excellent breakfast each day.
The internet connection sometimes worked and at other times was so slow as to be unworkable.

Lovely breakfast, prettily garnished with fruit and herbs. A good range. Things topped up as needed after early breakfasters. Very pleasant garden with bench and white clothed tables in the shade or sun. Enjoyable neighbourhood. Elegant salon feel dining room. Attractive rooms. Welcoming team.
It was fine for us but those accustomed to AC should consider the reality of continental summer weather in making their choice. We were there in heatwave and, being an old house, naturally there was no air con. The traditional method of closing the curtains avoided the heat of the day overheating anything. And we were out till evening when things cooled. I feel it is not fair when people complain about things they should have discovered before hand. Personally, there was nothing I didn't like! The hotel can be contacted directly.

The staff is excellent, cleanliness spotless, and the room - wow! The decor is different from any other hotel I've been to and is very befitting.
The coffee could have been better but that's a joke though.
