I liked the location and the price. It's close to the subway. You can quickly get where you need to go. Nearby there are stores. The room is clean and tidy. Before check-in, be sure to take a video photo of any cosmetic defects in the room. This is so that the deposit of 150 can be refunded.

Amazing friendly and helpful staff!! . Special Shoutout to roksana at the frost desk and the other lady receptionist that exchanged the broken tv remote control late at night . Gay friendly, walking distance to gay bars , parks, restaurants, convenience stores and a short subway ride to Berlin’s tourist attractions.

Very poor lighting in rooms ( I guess they are going for a dark intimate look ) but definitely not practical when you are getting ready in the morning. Also, rooms lack proper amount of closet space for a comfortable stay over 2 days ) . Not a problem if you are visiting for a quick weekend trip by yourself.

The hotel is situated in a great area of Schönberg. There’s restaurants and bars nearby, the Gay bars are just a little walk away from the hotel. I had the biggest room at the top of the hotel. The room was comfortable with good views of the area. There was a shower, toilet and sink close by the double bed. The bed was so comfortable and big enough for two people. There’s a restaurant in the hotel which provides cold and hot food. The staff who work on the reception desk and in the restaurant are friendly and don’t mind they offer good service to meet your needs. It’s a very pleasant hotel for LGBTQ+ people. I definitely recommend it for tourists of Berlin.

I didn’t like that there was a charge to use the coffee mugs in the room. I paid enough money to stay at the hotel and I expected the mugs to be free of charge. I believe it’s unfair to pay for coffee mugs because that’s needed for the use of drinks and people expect to have them for free when staying in a hotel. I don’t believe it’s right to charge extra for the privilege of using a mug in the room.

- The Steam/Sauna could have been opened until midnight. - May be the rooftop could have remained opened at night but was closed. - The Blue Towel provided to be used for the Steam/sauna.Jacuzzi is not so water absorbant. - It can be confusing and bump into the walls with the mirror in the corridor especially at night with less light.

Birthday stay to remember! I stayed at Axel Hotel Berlin last weekend for two nights to celebrate my friends birthday, and I couldn’t have asked for a better experience! The staff was incredibly warm and welcoming. Upon check-in, they noticed my friends date of birth in his passport and surprised us with a complimentary upgrade to the Miami Junior Suite for the entire stay — such a generous and thoughtful gesture! They also offered a free late check-out on our departure day, which made the whole experience even more relaxing. This stunning room combines style and comfort perfectly. The highlight is a sleek bathtub inside the room, surrounded by transparent glass that opens up the space. The bed with a glass partition adds a modern, airy feel. The rest of the room offers great comfort, quality furniture, and all the modern amenities you need. Excellent accessibility makes your stay easy and enjoyable. Perfect for anyone who loves a blend of relaxation and design.

The room was a bit worn out, but everything else was great. The sauna was a downside — it seemed flooded and didn’t heat up well. Apart from that, everything was cool."

I stayed in a suite at the Axel Hotel in Berlin, and while the room was spacious and generally comfortable, there were a few issues that impacted my overall experience. The "double bed" was actually made up of two single beds placed next to each other, which wasn’t ideal. There was also a window in the room that couldn’t be covered, which made it difficult to block out the light. Additionally, there was no shower gel in the dispenser, and even after I requested a refill, it was never taken care of. The bathtub was not as clean as I would have expected, and some of the window handles were broken, making it impossible to open certain windows. While the size of the suite was great, I believe a bit more attention to these details would have made the stay much more enjoyable.
