It is located în a quiet area, even though it's pretty busy, surrounded by restaurants with terraces that are full with people in the evening- there's a nice atmosphere. I liked the interior design ( for the hotel and the room), I especially liked the bathroom: well build-in, everything on hand, small things that make a difference: the tables, the tidyness, the lights, the receptionist. Metro station is în front of the hotel.

I couldn't say..... One personal thing that it has become very comon today: that windows can't be opened for a breath of fresh air, but only half-open - for security reasons obviously

Restaurant manager rude as hell. I’d just had surgery and returned to hotel for a couple of hours to recoup before flight. I queued at the bar for a good 5 minutes whilst he stood with his back to us facing the restaurant even though he’d seen us. When he did turn around he said “can you come over here to me please” refusing to actually rotate and take 4-5 steps to us. We did walk over and he said “yes you want breakfast?” And I corrected him and said “no I just wanted a drink to take to my room please” and he therefore walked over to where we had been queuing to get said drink. I don’t know this irritated my so much but it seemed obnoxiously rude and petty that he would stand with his back to us refusing to engage because he wanted us to walk to him. Ridiculous customer service

Excellent location near to u-bahn and to Ka De We store. Very clean an stylish. Comfortable rooms. Very helpful staff.

The only thing that I did not like was the strange enormous image of a woman that was a design feature in both the bedroom and bathroom. It loomed over the bed and covered the shower screen. Its a design disaster and a bit creepy.

I have travelled a lot and Berlin was always one of my main destinations. But after stayin in Mercure Berlin Wittenbergplatz, honestly, I'll never ever stay in some other Hotel! Everything was more than superb - from the first correspondence with Marina in the Reception, who could absolutely be the Hospitality Personnel Role Model of the Year. All of the work was perfect, all Questions answered immediately, work was Quick, polite, professional yet Friendly! She really made a Guest feeling like she's welcome from the first e-mail on. The hotel on General and the Room in particular was really clean, all the cleaners very helpful and professional, the Restaurant lady (didnt ask the Name) very welcoming and friendly. All in all - if You want to have a real experience of the Hospitality Business best way possible, visit Mercure Hotel Wittenbergplatz!

Location, quality of the room, staff.

A picture of questionable women right on the wall by the bed. It was soooo disturbing that I had to cover it with a bed cover. I couldn’t enjoy my time with my friend always thinking about her face. The hotel managers / owners must immediately consider removing this picture and replacing it with something completely neutral. The picture basically traumatised me. And it is very easy to fix.

Next to u-bahn. Very polite and informative staff especially Marina in front desk. Good blackout blinds. Ideal location for shopping. Still some issues ( stated bellow ) not suitable for a 4star hotel.

All four pillows ( two small and two big ), plus bed covers seemed worn out because of low quality. Also the mattress felt tired in some parts, so sleep feel was so and so. Bathtub was a bit dangerous coming out. The poster with Bride-looking woman over bed and in bathroom glass a very peculiar/odd taste.

Great location, just next to underground, and Kudamm, and other attractions. Despite the central location the room was very quiet , facing to a back yard. Beautiful interior, absolutely delicious breakfast and stunning breakfast room, friendly staff. All in all- I highly recommended

The only minor downside were the lights- it was always somehow dark in the room despite switching on all lights, and I sometimes had to use my mobile phone light to find my stuff in the suitcase. A bit weird …

Squared big uncomfortable pillows. Bed sheets not appropriate for a couple. Too small. No early check-in was possible because there was 'no room available'. In fact, eventually, I had to insist for them to check the possibility of changing rooms because mine was not ready at 3pm (check-in time). There was another room available, then. So... My check in was done at 3:10. This makes me think that maybe they could have been a little bit nicer and let me check in early in this same room. BTW, 25 euros per person for breakfast. No. Just No.

Lovely room, well appointed, clean and comfortable. Located on a pretty square with some nice cafes nearby. Very close to underground rail system and good shopping. Tiergarten is walkable and the Berlin Zoo.

A bit far away from main tourist attractions, rail is near but expensive.

The location was fantastic, the hotel had friendly staff, and the breakfast was excellent.

1. The information regarding parking on Booking.com was unclear, especially concerning whether it is free. Please clarify that car parking is not free of charge. 2. The hotel reception staff should be knowledgeable about nearby car charging stations and should provide information for electric vehicle users if needed.
