The hotel was very clean. And the pool and sauna was really good. The food was very tasty!!! The staff were helpful and kind and always attended very well! The location is very greeny and close to a train station to go to dortmund city!

The only thing I didn't like was the ginger bar ( food place closes by 9 30 pm and I really think that's a rush and specially when families come with children it's not very easy! 9 30 pm is too early to close for food! And the afternoon they don't serve food, so if you are with children definitely you have to go out to eat! And the breakfast buffet could do better with more variation of food for a 4 star hotel!

We had a fantastic stay at this hotel. From the moment we arrived, the staff were incredibly friendly and made us feel genuinely welcome. The breakfast was excellent—plentiful, fresh, and a great start to each day. The swimming pool was a real bonus: clean, easy to access, and perfect for unwinding. We also appreciated the cool water dispenser on our floor, which was a thoughtful and practical touch. A special mention goes to the staff member who helped me arrange tickets for the Dortmund stadium tour with my son. Not only was he helpful and attentive, but he even followed up the next day to ask how it went—such a kind gesture that really shows how much the staff care about their guests. That level of personal attention made our stay feel extra special.

Breakfast is lovely in a bright large area and the staff are very friendly. There was lots to choose from whether you wanted hot or cold. All self service so eat and drink as much as you want. Bar staff were very helpful in the evening and very helpful in recommending somewhere to eat the next evening that was good and only a short taxi ride away. Reception staff all very friendly and pleasant to chat with, all in all we had a lovely stay with them and hope to return one day.

Spacious lobby, room, and wellness area. Incredibly friendly and helpful staff. Useful little self service shop for drinks/snacks. Large bed, desk, kettle with tea/coffee/chocolate milk powder and multiple products for skin and hair care. The hotel is a little older (but very well maintained), however there is carpet everywhere and the hotel kind of smells like carpet. Not necessarily a smelly carpet, but just carpet. Didn’t book breakfast beforehand but I did buy it one morning at the hotel anyway which was quite pricy (€20) and the buffet didn’t have much to choose from but definitely a sufficient amount (eggs, bacon, croissants, bread, some fruit, etc etc). The price for the breakfast when you have it included in your booking, however, would be worth it in my opinion. It’s not the biggest buffet but it was a good buffet and that’s what counts. Had the swimming pool area all to myself which I LOVED.

The room was excellent. Large and very comfortable. The breakfast was very good with a large choice and decent serving hours in a lovely room. The bar bistro was cool and had live sports on, the food was good if not exceptional. The location was perfect for going to watch Dortmund play. A nice 20 min stroll. Also easy to get into town just 4 stops from the nearby station on the underground. The fitness room was nice and quiet and well equipped and the swimming pool was large and in a beautiful setting. There was a very handy serve yourself shop in the foyer with a good range of snacks, drinks and things you might have forgotten.

The bar menu was rather limited and the service a bit slow. It also shut earlier than they said they would on more than one occasion and there was no food available at all on Monday evening. We phoned in Uber Eats though and the staff were great and gave us cutlery and plates. The pool had kids swimming lessons on a lot of the time, there was no hot tub and it was hard to get towels except on the weekend. The one main thing that detracted from our relaxing stay was one screaming child that seemed to be everywhere we went but we can't blame the hotel for that. I hope the poor parents got some relaxation though! They must be exhausted.

Parking spaces were a good size, friendy staff and beautiful pool! Close to the convention center which was nice. The restauraunt staff were very kind and the food was good too.

Slamming of doors was audible from our room at night. Also this is an area with no restaurants or cafes in walking distance if thats what you are after. The train is nearby and fast to the city however.

Pool/fitness area excellent. Clean and very helpful staff.

Radiator in our room was completely off when we arrived in the evening ( i previously checked-in online stating that we are arriving in the evening), too small radiator for the room, it took good several hours to warm the room so we froze and asked for additional bed covers . We stayed only one night so we just needed the room warm during that night. It is not acceptable to charge a room 140€ a night and keep it cold for the sake of energy savings, they should have turned the heater on several hours before our arrival! When i think if hotel, I think if being cold.

If you're travelling to Dortmund and want a good business class hotel then this is for you. The staff were friendly and helpful and the rooms are comfortable and well appointed. The breakfasts were very good. Parking is available at a charge but fills up if BvB are playing which is something to consider. There's easy access to the city via the U-bahn which is a 5 minute walk away. The swimming pool and steam room is very pleasant and not utilised much, so a nice area to spend a couple of hours relaxing. 'Ginger' the house bar / restaurent has a nice vibe and the food is good, though the menu seems to be a bit limited compared to last year.

Our room had definitely had people smoking in it which wasn't pleasant, but the staff freshened it up while we went out. The Sauna rooms had also gone tech and were out of service while we were there.

Superb location to watch borussia dortmund match , spotlessly clean , fantastic choice at breakfast time , friendly staff , good facilities , great value ..plenty of e-scooters outside the grounds , fun way to see the city centre only 10 minutes away , if travelling to dortmund for the football , stadium a short walk away or scooter , this hotel is a must stay.

Super comfy beds, spacious shower, good air conditioning, pool and gym were a nice addition, bar area and breakfast were good and plenty of parking.

To change those staying at the hotel €20 parking for the night is too high in my opinion and the booking provider I booked with stated €10 so I guess the hotel has increased it sadly.
