Our recent stay at the Maritim Hotel from November 10th to 13th was truly wonderful. Suite we stayed in was fantastic—spacious, comfortable, and well-maintained, providing luxurious atmosphere throughout our visit. Hotel's location is absolutely amazing, offering easy access to everything we needed. The staff deserves special praise for their exceptional hospitality. Everyone we encountered was incredibly helpful, professional, and went out of their way to ensure our stay was as pleasant as possible. It really made a difference and added to the overall positive experience. Breakfast was good, though there could be a bit more variety to make it stand out even more. Nonetheless, it was satisfying each morning.

If we could suggest one improvement, it would be for the suite to have three separate bedrooms. That addition would have made our stay a solid 11/10! Even with that minor detail, the experience was wonderful, and we wouldn’t hesitate to recommend the Maritim Hotel to others or to return ourselves. Thank you for a memorable stay!

The Maritim is walking distance from Düsseldorf Airport, terminal C so no transport required. The staff were very friendly and help full. I was escorted with my baggage to my room by a staff member, who explained how my room card activated the lift. The twin room was lovely, very clean, a small kettle with teas and coffee. Check out was midday which is good if you have a late check-in due to flight delays. I didn't hear any flights being so near to the airport either. Reception area has a few different eating places and an absolutely lovely hallway. Also an underground parking garage on 2 levels. I will be visiting again.

Great Location, great service, great spacious and clean rooms. The hotel is now our-go-to hotel in the vicinity. Located next to the airport with underground parking. The breakfast was outstanding and was only missing a barista. The coffee machine a bit of a diappointment for this hotel, especially, since an omelet chef was on on duty. Not all restaurants were open, but we found great places to eat 10-15 minutes walk from the hotel.

Spacious room - gave a luxuous feeling; breakfast - lots of options to choose from; overall appearance of the hotel was good.

The parking fees weren't communicated upon check in, making us enter the parking garage with a regular entry card, made that we had to call the hotel when we wanted to leave to visit the city that evening. The bedsofa had sharp edges that were potentially dangerous for people getting in or out of the bed, especially children. The swimming pool water temperature was rather cold. A playground for children was missing and a simple giftset for children upon check in would have been appreciated.

Our already late flight was delayed so we arrived at the hotel after midnight. We were greeted by a very gracious and kind gentleman. He checked us in quickly and sent us to our very lovely, comfortable room. The next morning, we opted to have coffee instead of the huge breakfast that cost 27.00 euros per person. Along with our coffee, our waiter included a small crossisant. So kind and such attention to detail. The rooms are very clean and spacious. The location was the best. A short walk to and from the airport and train station made this a great choice for us.

Loved everything. Although I missed having a kettle. So many hotels have microwaves, but they never include a mug or cup to microwave water. We always carry instant coffee so we can have a much needed cup of coffee at anytime.

Carpeting in our room needs to be fixed because it is not even and makes a lot of noise when walking around the room. Housekeeping should do a bit more to anticipate the needs of the guest. For example, there were a total of 3 tissues in the bathroom, so they should have left a new box for us too. The treadmills and elliptical trainer in the gym needs to be refreshed. Food at the restaurants was below average, but expensive. Breakfast was mixed on the days we were there.

I was due to fly out of Dusseldorf to the UK but due to severe storms, we couldn't fly at all. I was so happy to be able to stay somewhere right next to the airport at such little notice, as I booked the room an hour before making my way over to the hotel. I was checked in straightaway and was so surprised by how clean, elegant and welcoming the room was. After a really stressful experience with the flight being cancelled last minute and needing a place to stay overnight, I was so happy I chose to go to the Maritim. Although I wasn't there long, it looked like there were lots of facilities and places to sit downstairs, that I would definitely consider staying there again- whether it be planned or another emergency! Would definitely recommend :)

Room. Convenience to airport. Staff courtesy and professionalism, especially the porter who helped us get two baggage trolleys to transport our luggage to the airport.

A bit difficult to get from our room to the back entrance which leads to the departure level at the airport. We had two baggage trolleys, and we had to unload and load to get past some stairs, even though we got off the elevator at the level of the back exit.

Large room with king-size double bed; windows can be openend (airport flight traffic stops at about 22 hours), also air conditioning available. Minibar empty with reference to vending machine. Spaceous bathroom with good shower in bath tub. Large number of elevators, very efficient reception. Pretty glass roof between building wings, creating a plaza atmosphere with "outdoor" restaurant tables, choice between different bar & restaurant. Breakfast with large choice and live cooking.

Ideally suited for overnight stay of flight travellers with direct access to airport Terminal C. Also good connectivity by car to highways. Public transport (both regional train and suburban metroline) to the inner city with main railway station.

The hotel was very clean and welcoming. No complaints with the staff or the room.

The parking shows online that you pay 30 Euros a night for parking. Yet when you leave the hotel you pay parking and then when you arrive back and sleep you get hit with 30 euros. So in a day depending on how often you leave and come back you'll be charged way more than 30 euros a day. For a 2 day stay we spent over 90 euros on parking. A bit expensive.
