The hotel is a true gem nestled in the center of a small, picturesque town. The surroundings are absolutely stunning – a perfect blend of ancient houses, pristine streets, and inviting, cozy cafés that make you want to slow down and truly enjoy life. The atmosphere is peaceful and full of character, offering an authentic experience that feels both relaxing and inspiring. The hotel itself is warm, welcoming, and perfectly situated for exploring the town. One of the best parts – it’s pet-friendly! We were so happy to find a place that welcomes furry companions with open arms. Highly recommended for anyone looking to unwind in a beautiful, scenic setting.

The room was a good size, a large window, excellent blackout curtains. Many electrical sockets all over and several charging points. A large sofa, small tables a desk and upholstered chair. Good sized wardrobe. beds and pillows very comfortable, we seperated the beds to get a better nights sleep. Bathroom is reasonable size with an excellent non slip shower cubicle with toiletries provider. During our stay we didn't hear any noise from other rooms or corridor. A bottle of water provided each day. A capsule type coffee machine. 5 mins walk from Esslingen main points. The mediaeval Christmas market was marvellous but is very crowded and busy in the evening. We ate out for all meals so don't know about restaurant other then looks good and nice bar area with plenty of comfortable seating.

It's a personal thing but found duvets quite hot to sleep under. Would have preferred a kettle as we are tea drinkers, although we appreciate most people drink coffee in Europe.

This hotel is modern, comfortable, and clean; and the rooms are large. There is sufficient parking that is very reasonable in price. It is located in a walkable area, with the center of town being only a 10-minute walk away. Also, the check out time was more than reasonable, being 12:00 noon. Something that is very different here than in other European hotels is that the pillows aren't flat. It was a welcomed surprise and made for a comfy night's sleep. :)

The only negative is that there wasn't enough staff. There was always only one person at the reception desk, which made waits to check in and check out much longer than they should have been. Everyone was friendly though. :)

The hotel was suprisingly very chic and modern. We arrived a lil bit earlier that planned, so we had to wait for the checkin, which is fine. The breakfast was nice with lots of fruits, a honey comb and shakshuka, the staff friendly and helpful.

During the day it was a lil bit difficult to catch a waiter at the bar downstairs, but that would be fine, but we didnt understood, why the bar closed so early, like two hours before, because the were lot of guests a new one still coming and the young waiter just closed the bar, so they could have early evening. Yes, the ice machine wasnt working, but nobody from the guests really cared about that. The polish waitress was very nice, she tried to serve the people longer.

A couple of the female staffers were very helpful and charming. We also liked being able to park directly under the hotel, which was not the case during other stops on our trip. Advice to others: consider the height of your rental car, and understand that a 2 meter tall VW Transporter makes indoor parking a REAL problem in most towns of Germany. z

No A/C in the room. The male staffer on our first day recommended a restaurant for our group that turned out to be a poor choice. The restaurant manager was rude and dismissive, and the food was average, and the price was too high.

This new hotel is right on the edge of the old town, perfect for exploring the centre. There is underground parking with a lift into the hotel and a trolley available if you have heavy bags. The interior decor is imaginative and well designed. The rooms have been well thought out, especially the shower room, with a large hand basin and a plug which works (often these days there is no plug!), large shower and we appreciated the underfloor heating. There is a coffee machine with capsules provided, unusual for many European hotels, and mineral water provided. The rooms are spacious with a comfortable bed, sofa and large desk with ample plug points. The staff are very keen, helpful and pleasant. There is an excellent breakfast and we enjoyed the two evening meals we had. We chose the mezze options. Very happy to recommend this excellent, new hotel.

The staff need training in the Leonardo Advantage Club membership, although maybe it was only one person who needs training as it was the same person who was difficult both evenings we were there. She insisted we could only take advantage of the membership if we paid in cash and also insisted we could not use it on the second evening, which is incorrect and meant we had to argue to use it on the second evening which is not pleasant.

Room was new, nicely appointed, and spacious. Everything was very clean. Staff was friendly. Breakfast was substantial and a good variety. Location was out the outskirts of the old town so all the really cute buildings and architecture is a quick walk away. When the gym and sauna are open, it will be even better.

Small item to maybe add a kettle for tea. I wish both elevators were running, there were some waiting times. The car parking situation is paying at a machine on Basement level 1 and then returning to the car on Basement level 2. It would be easier if parking could be paid directly to the hotel or the machine is on the same level as the parking.

The rooms are quite, clean and comfortable. There is space to work and plenty of power and charging points. Great breakfast. It has a gym too, but I have not used it.

The only thing to be improved is the time it takes to get checked in. One person at the desk took 30 mins to get through a queue of 4 people. As I had checked in on line, I needed only a minute to receive my key. Which just made the wait more frustrating. Please bring more staff to the check desk when there is a queue!

The sofa bed was large, two children would easily fit, or 3 if small. Our room was exactly as it looks in the photo and was very comfortable. Short walk into the lovely centre of Esslingen and easy to access via road. Parking in the underground public carpark wasn’t outrageous.

Our reservation was through booking.com so hadn’t included the option for breakfast; it would’ve been convenient to eat at the hotel before departing on our road trip

This place was great, location, breakfast, rooms, and staff were all wonderful.

If you want individual room AC, get a superior room. My only complaint is I did not do research prior to booking, so I did not upgrade to a room with AC and it was hot. The staff was wonderful and gave us fans to use.
