Good service , excellent food, helpful staff

The provision of large hand towels only for bathroom and shower use. I have never in 50 years of staying in hotels found a bath/ shower room WITHOUT large all round body size towels. You are the first. Suggest you remedy this situation by purchasing the correct size towels for your guests use. Also , there was no coffee /tea making faculty in the room . Again a normal room provision in my experience.

The young man working at reception on Sunday afternoon, September 1st, was fantastic and took care of everything perfectly. Fantastic customer service. Great start to our stay. Room was fine, though a little warm with it being so hot in Fulda and AC not standard. Views from balcony room were fantastic. Breakfast was truly spectacular. Food selection was impressive and the setting is absolutely top tier. Stunning.

Member of staff using a leaf blower to wrangle a tiny amount of leaves before 9am was not the ideal way to be woken up.

Excellent and helpful staff, location close to city center, lovely breakfast room, and facilities, great gardens and park, indoor pool and adjacent Orangerie so we did not have to leave the building for the evening event we had booked.

We had booked a classic room and no bathrobe for the pool- located near the lobby- was provided. Breakfast was extra at 23€ pp. No water, minibar or coffee maker was provided in the room, drinks could be bought from a vending maschine in the lobby.

This is an unusual hotel. The reception, lobby, pool and bedrooms are in an unattractive modern building alongside the stunning 'Orangerie' building, which is shown in their publicity, and which houses the function rooms and the stunning restaurant/breakfast room. There's also a really nice terrace outside the restaurant in the garden where you can be served all day from breakfast to dinner.

There is background music playing in all the corridors outside the bedrooms. It's clearly audible in the rooms, but thankfully turned off overnight.

Breakfast was fantastic- cannot be flawed and the location (outside) was very pleasant. I requested a room with a balcony which was great, The pool was a nice size and the sauna was lovely.

I made the mistake of booking breakfast after checking in which cost me 23€. I found that too expensive There was no water in the spa area meaning I had to return to my room to get a drink. It would have been nicer if there had been a water dispenser located there. The snack machine in the foyer made the hotel look cheap

The hotel is beautiful, with an amazing room for breakfast and wonderful surroundings! The staff were very friendly and informative. The pool and sauna are well maintained and provided with plenty of free towels.

We stayed in a family room. The regular bed was excellent, but the foldout coach was not comfortable at all. So only half of our family had a decent night sleep.

Breakfast was great with a wide variety of food and an excellent dining room. The staff were friendly efficient and responsive.

The elevator didn't work and we were on the third floor. Some guests were using canes and walkers that had to climb the stairs several times a day. I enquired if the hotel Manager/staff made any accommodations and they said not not even a reduced rate or discount on future stays.

The room was very nice. It was quiet. It had a balcony which was a great place to relax after a busy day of sightseeing. There is ample underground parking. The reception and dining staff were very accommodating. The location adjacent to the Schloss Garten of the was perfect. It was just a short walk to the Residenze and the old town area.

The breakfast room (the castle's former orangerie) is worth booking the breakfast already as it's just stunning! But the buffet is very good, too. There are options for everyone, and even I as a low carb/keto eater was able to find plenty of choices which isn't always the case in other places. I also love the swimming pool and that I was the only one using it, and had a very relaxing swim twice during my stay.

The room was very hot and no air conditioning, and I couldn't open the window as I was on the ground floor right next to the hotel entrance which wasn't ideal on such a hot day. I would have preferred a room a bit further away which would have allowed me to open the window. But otherwise I am super happy.

An historic location in the heart of this city of great heritage. Our first choice hotel in Fulda, very good facilities and ideal to explore the city. We have stayed a number of times before. The room was quiet and spacious. Beds are comfortable and access is easy. Staff are courteous and helpful. Breakfast is taken in the Orangery, worth a visit in its own right, full of baroque splendour. The Landesgartenshau was a short bus journey away for those who intend a visit before it finishes in October.

The schloss gardens were closed for renovations.
