The location is very good and enjoys a good parking garage. The room was a good size, well-equipped. There was an excellent chinese buffet-restaurant a five minute walk through the roadworks and, while it might not suit all tastes, we throughly enjoyed it! It made up for the disappointment of no in-house restaurant (other than for breakfasts!

The area around the hotel is being significantly redeveloped, so roads are closed and access restricted. This wasn't greatly inconvenient, although could be for those arriving by train.

A little outside of town but walkable to restaurants, banking, shops, cathedral, and other areas with a little more walk, e.g. park (amazing!!!) and river (beautiful!)--so I felt the location was great. Especially with parking a rental car (you have to pay a fee for each day, BUT it is very convenient and a very reasonable fee daily). Really nice breakfasts, all day coffee/tea in lounge, a bar, and building was clean and modern. I felt a GREAT value for the money, and a good choice for me, my spouse, and 12-year-old son.

The room was clean and comfortable with a view of the courtyard--all GREAT. A minor issue: Pillows were not very good and there was only one per person, no extra--however we did not ask for more either. Also, the kitchenette was entirely locked, every cupboard and no in room coffee--again this was ok given coffee downstairs, but kitchenette was not entirely usable because of this. Overall, still a very good place we'd stay again knowing this ahead of time.

Very central, easy parking inside the building. Just pass the two gates and park on the green colored slots, pay at departure. Very clean and fresh rooms with view from the 5th floor over the cathedral tops. Access to gym, for those who wanna get the body going after a long drive or something.

Smaller thing and an edge case, but in my opinion a big hotel like this should provide the possibility for the guests to wash and dry their clothes if necessary. We got very wet from an evening walk where a sudden rain made all three of us totally wet from top to toes. I was hoping for the hotel to have some kind of washing or drying service but all they could provide for us was a drying rack.

The room was great, perfectly met the needs of our family. The breakfast was basic but tasty and fresh. The location was ideal and there is underground parking.

There was no water to drink in the room. I appreciate hotels minimizing the use of plastic and introducing all green practices and I don't mind drinking tap water, however there was no information whether you can drink water from the tap there whatsoever. There were no glasses in the room, nor a kettle either. So if you arrive late in the evening and you don't have your own water that's a problem.

Great place for one night rest after a long travel. Included breakfast nice is a nice addition. Able to park at the hotel’s parking garage for a daily fee.

Could focus more on cleanness of the rooms. We felt that the carpet was pretty smelly and dusty. And for some reasons we were not able to set the room temperature/ventilation in the room which resulted in a hot night sleep

Breakfast is a standard continental buffet. It is sufficiently tasty and good, with the exception of the sausages which are rather reminiscent of cardboard. In general, for the price, there is nothing to complain about. The location is convenient and the room was relatively clean.

Even though it was very clean, the cleanliness inside the shower cabin could have been cleaner. But acceptable for one night. The worst thing was the bed. Even though it didn't look and feel like it, the bed was uncomfortable and caused me so much back pain that I couldn't sleep in the bed for the second half of the night. I have not experienced this before from other Ibis hotel stays, even if it was only me that night because my partner did not have any problems worth mentioning. A note to all from Booking. com: The address of the hotel is correct, but here the map shows the wrong location of the hotel. At first we went to the wrong place. According to the hotel, this is an error by booking.com

It was a nice stay. The hotel is situated about 15 minutes on foot away from Dom and just across the street there is a Karstadt center and a big parking. After 7 p.m. and the whole day on Sunday you do not need to pay for a public parking slots along the street. 10 euro per hour is the price for 1 additional hour of late-check-out (up to 3 hours)

New hotel in the centre of Magdeburg. We were positively surprised by the cleanliness of the room and especially the comfortable beds. The breakfast was as expected. Check-in fast and without problems. We had a view from the window into the courtyard, we were not disturbed by the traffic from the street.

The bicycle room is part of the hotel, but its size does not correspond to the expected number of bicycles. We were at the hotel during the week, it was definitely not full, and we parked our bikes in the bike room with minimal space to spare.

Modern hotel, close walk to town and local tourist sites. Great breakfast. Room had very comfortable bed and efficient air conditioning which was needed as the day we were there is was 37degrees. Pillows not so great, small and lumpy, but that seems to be how they like them in Germany.

Good location, easy parking under the roof with access from the hotel - helps a lot during rainy weather, friendly and helpful staff, easy access to late tea, easy night walk with dog - no problem to return, middle of town location but very quiet, air conditioning in every room.

We were given a room with a bad smell and with food in the fridge - a huge and unexpected surprise especially that we arrived late and tired. I complained and we were given another spotless room. What would happen if there were no spare rooms???
