The room we had was overlooking the external eating area and had excellent views.. (de first picture) The room also had a veranda with two chairs on which to relax. The air conditioning was really very good which provided the right environment for a good night’s sleep. The bathroom was well appointed with a good long flat surface for all your personal items. The room also came with tea making facilities and a small fridge built into a cupboard. All of the staff were very polite and helpful and also gave us a small jug of fresh milk to take up to the room for 1st cup of morning tea

The room had a shower over a bath which my wife found difficult to get in and out of unaided. The evening meals we had were excellent but the menu was limited.

Friendly welcoming staff, room was large and the beds were ok. Facilities were a little bit dated but all clean and working. Breakfast was good, plenty of choice!

Swimming pool was very cold. We got a room over the front entrance, it was very noisy late at night with people talking outside the hotel door.

Breakfast was wonderful. The patio seating area was lovely. Staff were friendly and accommodating. Very nice hotel.

It was very hot and the hotel does not have air conditioning, however the staff got us multiple fans for our 2 rooms and that made it comfortable.

At the end of a week's holiday at more pricey accommodations, what a pleasant surprise to find the Nierstein Best Western. Great price for a very spacious, spotlessly clean, cozy room for our family. Hotel staff was very friendly, the included breakfast was great, enjoyed in the outdoor patio area. Easy on/off the highway and just down the road from Mainz. The beautiful surroundings and Rhine views in the area were an added bonus.

I wish we could have stayed longer - it seemed like a perfect spot to relax and slow down.

The courtyard terrace is very pleasant, like the swimming pool and sauna facilities. The room and comfy beds are great.

I did not like to be served burned mushrooms... When the kind waitress noticed the black food she ensured a healthy cooked replacement.

The receptionist in the evening was not friendly. I Had to go back to the reception as the door key was not working and she didn’t bother to apologize for her mistake. The receptionist in the morning however was helpful and friendly.

Great place for a single night or two on your way onwards to southern Europa. Clean, friendly and extra bonus with the pool and sauna after a long day behind the wheel. All in all good.

Nice hotel and restaurant in Nierstein. Easy to find. Staff very accommodating and friendly. Restaurant was good for dinner and breakfast was good as well. Room large, clean. Bike storage in their underground garage.

Friendly, professional, supportive staff. We stayed three nights during the local annual winemakers' fest. The staff were extremely busy because of the festival, but they always found time to help with a smile. Excellent room, well suited for pets -- we were travelling with a large dog -- the hotel is well prepared for pets. There is an underground parking garage below the hotel (9.50 per night), which is convenient for taking the lift straight to your room. Very good breakfast buffet. We had two dinners in the hotel courtyard, both excellent in terms of quality and service.

The air conditioning was more of a "warm air blower". The system may need an update - it certainly could not keep up with the hot weather.
