It was superbly clean, the breakfast was excellent and all of the staff were friendly and attentive.

We went to the gym three times during our five night stay. One of the clips broke on some weights and they fell on my husband’s face. He has a number of cuts and bruises. It was an accident and could have happened to anyone, however there was no telephone number apparent for the reception and the SOS button on the gym telephone didn’t work. It would be helpful if the gym telephone had a direct dial to the reception and also if you printed the reception direct dial number on the hotel check in cards, as even the cleaner didn’t know what it was!

We were staying two nights in the hotel for a concert in Grugahalle, which is centered next to the Atlantic Congress Hotel. Room and bathroom were very spacious and clean (more than we expected). Room had a modern feel to it, same goes for the bathroom. The beds and pillows were also very comfortable to sleep in, we had two separate beds, but these could be moved next to each other if wanted. Furthermore, the room was not noisy, except for the sounds from the concert to which we were going. No sounds from the hallway et cetera. Did not have the breakfast in the hotel, so no comment about that. But we did made use of the parking garage. which is accessed through the side of the hotel with a ticket and locked with a gate. If you want to use public transportation, there are lots of metro-stations nearby which are less than 5 minutes away. All-in-all had a great time visiting Essen and the hotel met more than our expectations!

If you want to make use of the parking garage, please be aware that it is a steep hill you have to drive down and also have to drive up when leaving the garage. Door of the bathroom is a sliding door which cannot be locked. Not really a negative point, just something to be aware of.

The room was excellent and clean and the staff were very professional. Also breakfest was amazing, everything you could dream of was available.

Went eating in the restaurant in the evening and the choice of food was rather limited. Went with a hamburger, but the buns where kind of soggy.

Excellent breakfast , good value for money, very good location, very good atmosphere in room ,clima and therma.

I think a better evening restaurant could bring perfection to this hotel

Modern and clean with easy access to local shopping, road network etc.

Gym equipment needs an upgrade.

Excellent breakfast, clean and soundproof rooms. Great location close to the Grugapark, concert halls and U11 stop and Essen Hospital. Friendly personnel, especially at the bar!

Very pricey drinks.

Beds were very hard and uncomfortable. A softer topper was provided upon request, but it was the same like the hard one.

The staffs are always friendly & helpful, the food is always good, the room is really clean and the location is the best for Techno Classica Essen

U clearly saw that the cleaning wasnt for 4 star hotel! The toilet brush wasnt "clean" and u can see that the worker didnt clean properly
