The idea of having 1 Toilette and 1 bath cabin separated from each other is amazing and really improves the experience. The beds are very solid and comfortable. The hostel structure is very good (common area and resources). The location is amazing with very easy connections to public transport.

For some reason the air exhaustion of the room was very poor. It doesn't have AC and even with a gap open on the window (it can't be fully opened) and a fan turned on, the room was still always hot, without proper air circulation. There is no fridge in the room. There are not enough power outlets close to the beds. The lights are kinda weak (especially in the bathroom).

Location is very close to Hbf which is very nice. Price/performance hostel (typical A&O 👍🏻) Dorm room was good enough spacious. Mattress and bed offered me comfortable sleep. Stuff allows you to use locker room to put your backpack/luggage if you arrive earlier than your check-in time. Also they will allow you to do the same even you checked-out. Thanks to A&O Stuttgart team especially the facility manager Vanessa. She is super friendly.

I stayed 8 person dormitory but there was only 6 lockers for backpacks, personal belongings. Maybe stuff can check this issue and solve this quickly. There was no hand soap at WC, it was empty.

Host are extremely helpful, I met Kanava and Anshul they are extremely caring host , they quickly help you get settled in and make provisions for our convenience Rooms are okay they are shared, there is charging point near the beds, a deposit lock thing to keep our luggage safe. They have kitchen downstairs I have habit of making my own food, so they gave access to kitchen. There are games for children, a lounge if we want to work or just eat there and chill. Toilets are clean. Additional toilets are available near counter, if the room toilets are occupied due to other room occupants. Check-outs are extremely fast, all you have to do is drop the card in box and staff is available 24/7 to help you out !

All is good it is value for money they have all facilities needed for Travellers and temporary stays.

The room was clean, and the staff was friendly. The kitchen was well-equipped with all the essential cutlery, along with a fridge for convenience. It offers excellent value for money and is highly recommended. There's also a cozy common area where you can relax, work, or socialize, plus a bar with coffee machines and other amenities.

The only downside was the lack of a real electrical socket near my bed for charging my phone, there were only a USB and type-C port available. Additionally, the common area could get quite noisy at times, though that’s understandably beyond the hostel’s control.

I always enjoy staying here as the facilities are always neat and clean and the staff is friendly.

Unfortunately a lady came in at midnight and showed total disrespect for the rest of us staying in the room. This lead to a heated exchange between her and another girl which resulted in reception being called to step in. I think that a&o needs to institute a cut-off time for arrivals as this was unacceptable. When one chooses to stay in a hostel one needs to have respect for others. This was the only thing that made my stay totally unpleasant and I am disappointed by this.

Rooms are very good and clean. The location is perfect, just one tram stop from the great city library or two stops from the main train station and the city center.

The kitchen is very poor and small, positioned in basement, plus every time you want to use it you need to go to the reception and ask for key, which takes about one minute and is really annoying. Kitchen has only two hot spots and a microwave, with no pans, pots etc. Pans and other equipment you can get only on the reception, leaving a deposit for it. It looks like it is all intentionally like that, so that guests don't use kitchen at all. The common area has no warm and social atmosphere. If you plan to stay more than one or two days, it is not a proper hostel.

We were with a group on an excursion in Stuttgart and the A&O was a very nice place to stay! Spacious rooms and nice facilities in the rooms like storage and bathrooms. Close to the centre and the train station (only 2 tram stops or 20 minute walk away). We booked very short in advance but still got a good price and enough beds were available. The bar is a nice addition when you want to get a drink after walking around all day. We forgot an item in one of the rooms and they were nice enough to send it to us, very kind!

We have stayed in other A&O hostels before and the kitchen facilities are always a bit lacking. Only about 4 plates, a few knives and some other utensils but not equipped for actual cooking. Too bad because the breakfast at A&O is too expensive and there is a store around the corner so it would have been nice to have proper (self brought) breakfast there.

The common areas were well-kept and had a welcoming atmosphere, perfect for meeting fellow travelers or just relaxing. I particularly appreciated the bar and lounge area, which had a great selection of drinks and a cozy vibe. The breakfast offered each morning was diverse and tasty, with a variety of options to suit different dietary preferences. What really stood out for me was the hotel's location. It’s just a short walk from the Stuttgart main station, making it extremely convenient for exploring the city. Public transport options were also readily accessible, and I was able to easily visit local attractions, shops, and restaurants. Overall, I had a fantastic experience at A&O Stuttgart. The hotel offers great value for money, with comfortable accommodations, friendly service, and an excellent location. I would definitely recommend it to anyone visiting Stuttgart, whether for a short stay or a longer trip. I’ll certainly be back!
