Room was great , breakfast was superb

I could not access the car park as the barrier would not lift up, I had to leave the car and speak to receptionist (male) who said he would raise it and then didn’t so I had to leave the car a second time. I then had the same issue when I left the hotel in the morning the receptionist (female) said she would raise the barrier and didn’t so I had to return to ask for the barrier to be raised a second time . Both the issues were a shame and spoilt first and last impressions of the hotel and overshadowed the lovely room and the superb breakfast

We stayed at this hotel for a 3-day girls' weekend, and it was a great choice! The rooms were great and the amenities were a highlight—especially the pool and fitness area, which were both clean and well-maintained. It was the perfect way to relax and recharge in between our outings. The restaurant on-site had a good range of menu options, making it easy to grab a delicious meal without having to leave the hotel. We appreciated the convenience, especially after long days of exploring. Another bonus was the bus stop within walking distance, which made it easy for us to get around the city without any hassle. Overall, it was a great stay with everything we needed for a fun and relaxing weekend. Would definitely recommend it for a girls' getaway!

Would have been an added bonus if it was closer to downtown.

Rooms are spacious and nice. I liked the interior and parking options on locations including also a garage. The staff was nice and the ladies working on the breakfast were all nice and smiling when we were being served. In general I also like the Wurzburg old town and some good wine there. Pool and SPA look nice and I will use those when arriving next time. :)

We arrived with EV and expected a wall charger compatible with Type 2 charging port. The location offers only 240V plug or eventually a 16A connector what you would use also on a camping spot with converter cable. Unfortunately I didnt have the 16A to type 2 or to 240v converter. So charging was slow with a regular less powerful 240v plug. Breakfast price is a little high with 25 EUR/person and thats something which could be also offered as part of room package, so please offer a room with or without breakfast at the reservation avoiding surprises. If this would be sorted I would give it a 10 easily

Really great hotel, easy to find and lots of parking, lobby perfectly set up, fast clean elevators Rooms perfect, clean, window opens wide, great views, quiet, good restaurant, good value and room service available. Food delicious. Staff courteous and speak English. Beds amazing.. great water pressure and hot! I’d rate it a 10 all around and now changing return trip so we stay here. Conference facilities..

Would add a bell person or carts to transfer luggage.

Location is good. Good quality of sleep. Functional facilities. Beauty farm very well maintained and clean. Reception and dinner restaurant staff were top notch. An exemplar can do attitude to service. Good coffee and freshly fried eggs at breakfast worth mentioning.

Breakfast was billed separately. 24 Euros/pax is pricey and the breakfast not worthy such high end price.

My second stay here was as good as the first one, and as a regular traveller to Würzburg I will definitely make Melchior Park my base each time. Large, light and airy rooms, modern bathrooms, everything sparkling clean, really quiet, AC works fine. Excellent restaurant with a terrace to enjoy the evening sun, staff there and at reception attentive, efficient and friendly. Great indoor and outdoor pool - nice landscaping - as well as a decent gym. Parking priced adequately, lovely 25-min downhill walk to the town centre, the bus back stops right outside the hotel. Far better than any of the alternatives.

Nicely laid out hotel close to the university, well-connected and very modern. The spa area is small, but well maintained and the gym does the job.

Staff is very distanced and the place feels cold and unwelcoming. Not really friendly attitude, weird regulations, e.g. the gym isn’t open at night and the saunas won’t work before 1700 .. (however switched on once asked). Rooms are cold and feel sterile. A bit too minimalist. There isn’t really a lobby, just a couch in front of the reception. Didn’t like the place.

Hotel is very nice. Didnt have time to use the pool or spa facilities as only a quick weekend to see the town of Wurzburg. Reception staff excellent and resolved our parties idiosyncracies very well. (2 couples one booked from UK one booked from Germany, arriving together) Even sorted 2 adjacent rooms

Location is a bit "out of town" 15 minute bus trip. Bus stop is within 50 meters of the hotel entrance though. Our travelling companions (booking in Germany) had received a bed and breakfast plan. I hadn't noticed that my booking didnt have a breakfast included. Admitted my mistake! The breakfast charge of 19 Euro per person per day adding euro 76 to the final bill was, I feel a bit steep. On other hotel stays where I have paid extra for breakfast it has been around 9 - 12 euro.

Very kind and helpful staffs, decent breakfast and indoor pool! I’d love to come here again if I go to Würzburg.

I’m not that picky person but the pool outside is kind of insect-friendly😅 a lot of(like really a lot) water striders and unknown water bugs are living in there

Nice hotel - everything wonderful

Parking fee should not be added to the bill. Parking should be for free. This is NOT the city centre. You don't expect to be charged extra for parking on the hotels parking lot. Also breakfast is charged additionally - OK because it is not mentioned as "inclusive" in the booking.com order. But parking?
