I haven't been to this hotel since my parents brought me and my brother in the early 90s. That's almost 30 years ago haha. Just decided to try stay one night at this place bringing my parents, my brother's family with kids. It's a very nostalgic feeling because the hotel is somewhat same but slightly different a bit at certain areas. The lobby is nice and very open space. Staffs are very friendly and attentive during check-in. The hotel rooms were nice, adequate and comfortable. Not too small, just nice. It has a balcony too which I totally forgot. Haha. Oh and now they upgraded the tv to smart tv which now you can watch Netflix, Disney+, YouTube even. Nice touch on that. The restaurants in the hotel were also one of the highlights because it has 2 restaurants, one is more western food and the other is more local Asian food. The western food was very delicious and although slightly pricey, it was worth it and the kids love it. There's also some coffee shop at the lobby which you can chill for coffee and desserts. There is also a pinball machine which definitely hit the nostalgia even more and the kids was excited because they never seen or play one before but they love playing it now. There's also a mini mart outside of the hotel if you need snacks, drinks, swimming trunk, goggles for the swimming activity. Most frequent question is the parking. Where do you park and do you have to pay? Now there are 2 parking spaces. The sheltered covered one and the open space, no roof type of park. The sheltered parking one, you have to pay using touch n go card, and it's RM18 per night flat rate. If you leave before hitting the 6th hour, per hour is RM3. The other parking space which is the open space no roof, located just the opposite of the sheltered one, that one is free, can park any space available. But there is no spotlight at night and considered park at your own risk.

Their facilities for the children.Great place for families gathering. Even though we stayed there for only one night but we managed to cover most of the things including to watch gibbon during our breakfast . Such an amazing experience.

should not closed all pool section just for private party. have pity for those checkin just for 1 night and cannot use the pool

The room is a bit smaller than the picture but it was still spacious and comfortable, clean, and the hotel itself is really well maintained. The pool area with the bar is very nice, the reception staff are very friendly but the bar staff customer service can be improved. The Ramadan buffet was affordable and value for money with a huge variety, the bar food is very basic and did not meet my expectations, but overall the experience was nice.

One minus point is that they don't provide bathrobes in our room and even when I requested (I was willing to pay extra) they said it's only available for the suite rooms.....

We were at suit in 29 floor, there was bad smell coming from the bathrooms

We enjoyed our stay at Awana Resorts , very convenient with a free shuttle to the premium outlets. Big rooms which was convenient for a family. The staffs very efficient, and gentle. Special thanks to Mrs Zarina for arranging a table for us at the pool restaurant on the last evening , even if they were hosting the Nestle group. In general staffs are helpful and friendly. The Awana garden restaurant a place to visit at least once. The staffs provided us good assistance at dinner. We ordered a hot pot menu with two soup options however the laksa one was too spicy for us. The chef change it right away without any hesitation and free. We really appreciate this gesture. Thank you again😊

Only suggestion would be the maintenance dept to clean the concrete edges on top of the bed.

Friendly staff. Great lobby area. Shuttle service provided. Very near to GPO. Room was spacious enough. Goodies given was a surprise. Thank you!

Need to pay parking fees even for guests.. less basic amenities (no iron, no body lotion, hair conditioner). When i arrived, balcony was dusty

I like the staff from the reception counter, Ayu Awana, Awana Garden . I booked the Ayu Awana restaurant for 25pax , and some information was missed out, but the staff made it, so our group can have lunch at the restaurant while waiting for check in. And the Awana Garden 's staff answered all my questions, I feel warm. I like the activity provided / arranged like art , caroling, nice gym room

I booked 10 double standard rooms and 1 Sixer room. Until 5pm , then I got the last 4 rooms card. I would say it was too late! Even though the staff said we can have late check out at 4 pm, but we have our plans....we checked out at 1 pm as scheduled. I was the person in charge for this trip, I felt sorry for my group.... luckily I arranged them go for shopping with the shuttle bus.

(One of) the beds was incredibly comfortable. One of the most comfortable I've experienced within this price range. Breakfast was also delicious with a great foggy view of the hills. The free shuttle to GPO was very convenient. Staff at the lobby were all very kind and attentive.

Received a message that early checkin from 10am was now available on weekdays (was checking in on Monday) - but arrived at 11.30am only to be told that rooms were only available from 3pm onwards. Not the end of the world as I was able to change my plans, but wasn't a great start to the stay. The greens are currently under renovation/construction so the views were unfortunately not as great as they could be.

Room is a quite good but the bathroom may need some upgrades. Breakfast is a bit of a challenge as there is not much choices. However, due to its location and weather I would say it is very conducive for a quite holiday away from the hassle and buzzle of a city life

I think there is some gap in the in information of the daily activities particularly for a first-time visitor. Also, it would be great to have more options or choices for breakfast. I would like to highlight the conditions of the bathroom which would probably need an upgrade.
