The location was perfect. You only had to cross one street and you were already on the beach. There are small supermarkets everywhere in the neighborhood where you can pop in late at night to get some groceries or anything else. We traveled with our dog and that was absolutely no problem. The Ibis staff in the reception hall are extremely friendly and are always available to answer questions or anything else. We had a room on the 7th floor with a very nice view. It is totally quiet in the neighborhood, which makes the stay very pleasant.

There was basically nothing to complain about with the daily cleaning of our room, but the cleaning staff could change the coffee cups after use. The balcony wasn't really clean either, but this could be because the roof is immediately above it and therefore dirt from above falls down onto the terrace in the wind.

The inside of the hotel and our room was lovely - Very modern design/decor very clean and smelt really nice. The staff were all very friendly and helpful - Provided some hot water for us so that we could make a drink in our room.

The exterior looked very run down and in need of attention. Unable to park in the hotel car park even though it looked like there were spaces. So had to park in a multi-storey car park around the corner. The cost was a little more expensive than the other three places we had stayed during our trip and we had to pay nearly €40 extra for breakfast - Which I felt was expensive and was not good value for money for the selection available. Room did not have a kettle or any tea/coffee making facilities.

Located close to several tramstops in the area, beach is a 2 minute walk, supermarkets close by as well as enough restaurants and entertainment options (cinema, theater, sealife, 'de pier', casino, etc). Checking in went smoothly, staff very friendly elevators available, basic-room with city view. I did get a refrigerator as asked :). The bar downstairs is open till 00.00. Breakfast-room is nice and clean. Breakfast is good, although I prefer small packages (for Jam, Nutella etc) instead of the big jars, due to hygiene reasons. Same goes for handsoap and shampoos in the room. Maybe less nature-friendly, but it's more hygienic. Evening staff put sweets on the counter, and were actually at the desk downstairs to welcome me, when I came back from a walk on the beach. Makes you feel noted. Didn't happen when checking in around 1400h. (just an observation)

No coffee or waterboiler in the room, but I was told later these were available on request. Did get the refrigerator I asked for in advance :) The rooms could be cleaner. I always check by arrival. Some toothbrush stains on the wall, shower hose that came off when touched, stains on the curtains and on the bottom of the mattrass (pillows and bedding were clean!) and a piece of clothing on the balcony that has been there a while (which they took away when notified staff.. Nevertheless, I did stay in this room without further complaining.

The room was great and the hotel interior and decor was superb- stylish and relaxing. Staff were helpful- showed us where we could store our bikes inside overnight. The breakfast was excellent with lots of choice. The hotel was ideally placed for visiting the old part of Scheveningen and also the seafront.

Large room, very comfy bed. 2minutes from beach, shops, restaurants, cinema so excellent location. The breakfast was also good with a wide selection of food choice.

I liked that the sea was nearby and there was a place to relax. Thank you very much to the staff, there was a girl at the reception who spoke Russian, special thanks to her.

My room had broken ventilation and there was fungus in the shower.

Everything was good.

I had payed for me, my wife and our 2 children but booking.com has send me a confirmation only for 2 persons. Luckly IBIS personnel gaved us an adequate room for 4 persons! Thanks IBIS for the understanding and professionalisme and be carfule by dealing with booking.com

Nice Location Very good staffs. They are supportive. Nice and clean. Spacious and comfortable. A little freezer in the room; which is very useful for a family stay.

No facility for water kettle. No facility for Tea/Coffee inside the room. [Many hotels offer this complimentary] Price is bit high.
