We stayed here with our 4 young children. Best experience ever. We were welcomed so warmly. Our room was ideal. Sea view, two toilets and very spacious. We loved that the hotel wasn’t too big and it had such a friendly, classy atmosphere. There was a well stocked refreshment room which was open 24 hours. Gorgeous view from the breakfast tables looking straight out over the beach. The breakfast itself was also all we needed and more. Very friendly service. Our children could even watch us out the hotel room window as we did a refreshing morning dip in the winter sea. Would highly recommend and we would love to stay again.

One small thing when enoying the view in the breakfast room with my book and a Coffee. 4 staffmembers had lunch and were discussing business very loud. Next to me. I don't own the place off course but when you enjoy a private moment on a beautiful location that was a bit of a bummer.

This is an amazing place. A hotel that immerses you in an atmosphere of elite rest. The interior is chosen with impeccable taste. The staff is impeccable. The breakfasts are delicious. The sea is a few steps away. And all this for a very affordable price.

The fact that the vacation is so short

Great location and also the hotel offers coffee tea cookies all included in the same price. Has a great view of the sea from the sitting room.

A really small bathroom, the room was located at the main floor facing a small garden where people could enter and relax, not the best.

Walks on the beach in the early mornings and walking to the lobby for free coffee and for the kids hot cocoa there’s also free popsicles there and biscuits also the breakfast was buss

People outside looked through the windows and looked at me while I was changing.

I really liked everything. Let me take you by the hand and walk you through the hotel. We came in and were greeted with a warm and friendly smile at the reception. When we asked where we could park our car, we were told that the best place would be the car park across the street and asked whether we booked that in advance, which I forgot, but strongly recommend. Arriving Easter Monday in the afternoon we were lucky that there were still some spaces available with a hotel discount. So problem solved. We were given a bottle made of sugar cane which we not only allowed to keep but to refill it at the water dispenser when ever we wanted. Next to the water dispenser you’ve got a coffee machine we’re you can choose between coffee, cappuccino, hot chocolate and so on. Ready? Then walk with me to the breakfast room find a seat at the huge window front and enjoy you view at the beach, the Ferris Wheel and the sea. Ok, you sat long enough. Time to get moving. Put on your jogging shoes step outside and turn right. You are lucky that you booked this hotel because it’s at the end of the promenade and you can run for miles and miles on the beach. Happy and with a smile on your face come back and enjoy a wine with a view or sit in the heavy leather sofas and read. Don’t worry about next day’s breakfast. You find something on the buffet. And then set of on day trips. Leiden, Gouda, Keukenhof are only about 30-40 minutes away and really worth it. If you read so far then you shouldn’t hesitate and book

There wasn’t anything

Fabulous location close to some great beach clubs and the Pier. Lovely little touches like a chess set and other games in the living room area. Relaxed, friendly vibe. Rooms looked newly-refurbished and were well-designed - we had a family room and it was like our own little apartment with a small outdoor courtyard area too. We had breakfast one morning over-looking the sea, and there was a good selection of bread with fresh fruit, eggs, meat and cheese. We really enjoyed our stay and will be back!

Excellent location with wonderful views! I took the tram from Den Haag Centraal and the stop was super close to the hotel. The lobby has an old world charm and very Dutch feel with modern amenities. I had arrived early and the room was not quite ready. The staff offered to watch my bags while I made a cappuccino via their nice machine and sat to watch the sea view. Lovely dining and viewing area with unobstructed views. The breakfast buffet the next morning was excellent. I had a very private room with a private entrance, which I liked. The room was spacious with a seating area. The bathroom and shower are were huge by any standard. Everything was clean. The bed was soft, like of a foam or memory foam top, with European sized pillows. The floors were warm throughout so no concerns walking barefoot or in socks with the cold weather outside. The few staff I encountered were all super kind and helpful, even with my heavy bag and bum knees. They said that they’re mostly all women that work there, which I kind of liked, so they do all the heavy lifting. Who runs the World?!

There was nothing that I disliked. I suppose if I had to change anything, and I’m being quite nit picky, it might be that I wished I had more room around the bed to get in and out. But the structure of the building wouldn’t necessarily allow for that. The bottom sheet on the bed could be smoother, but it was clean and overall comfortable. The room I happened to be in did not have a fridge, only the family rooms, which is fine and understandable. Just might have been a nice extra.

Nice cosy rustic traditional reception, lobby and living room areas. Welcoming atmosphere, friendly and helpful reception. Best view from restaurant hall with 24/7 available cafe and hot bev vending supply . Nice place best location next to parking.

Some intense noise that comes from people coming up this beautiful wooden stairway to upper floors . Perhaps a potential investment in sound proof doors would help?

We had to move within our stay because our apartment of choice wasn’t available from the start. To be fair staff had mentioned at booking they can’t guarantee an apartment of choice and they erred very helpful to move us.
