The setting is very romantic and beautiful. Set overlooking the sea in a very rural part of Gran Canaria with excusite vistas. Our sea view room was large, and the beds were super comfortable. There was also a lovely balcony. The staff were extremely helpful and friendly. This hotel appears to generally cater for all-inclusive, but we just did B&B. There is a beautiful restaurant at the puerto called Ragu which has outstanding Italian food and I would highly recommend. We will definitely return to this hotel and Agaete.

We had the buffet for dinner on one evening and it wasn't good. The salads were nice, but the hit food tasted the same with little variety. If you like good food, then this buffet or restaurant would not be a good choice. We ate in the rooftop bar one night and the food was better there but overpriced, I think, in comparison to the standard in the puerto.

Amazing location, very calmed atmosphere and beautiful surroundings. Staff were kind and always smiling, the room was clean and tidy, very well furnitured, I loved the huge walk-in shower in the bathroom and the view to the ocean, with the night lights of Tenerife. Breakfast and dinner was super delicious and with almost endless options. Coffee was really good too to compare with other spanish hotels. I recommend this place to everyone who want to run away from the crowded party cities and holiday villages of the island.

Beautiful location, felt tucked away in an intimate corner of the world with beautiful views. Hotel was full of locals which is always a good sign, stunning place we went for our honeymoon and was so pleased with the location, and the variety of buffet meals there was something different each evening. All inclusive snacks, meals & lunches were great, were non-drinkers and there was a good non alcoholic variety. About 50mins from the airport, we forgot to book a transfer and the hotel team were so helpful arranging a taxi, worked out cheaper than the one we sorted ourselves! It had everything, from being offered an non/alcoholic drink on check in to an ATM machine.

Can’t truly fault it, only things we would’ve changed was not having soft pillows, we made it work but would’ve been nice to have 2 pillow types a firm and soft like most hotel chains. Flies were annoying, but they were everywhere so couldn’t really be helped — more of a location thing than directly a hotel thing anyway!

We spent 3 nights here. The rooms were great and the staff very friendly. The hotel overlooks the water and you get a very nice view. Breakfast was definitely a strong point. They have insane of varieties for anything you could possible want. The staff was very kind and useful. Car parking was very safe. Extremely close to the natural pools - that was the highlight of the stay. It's good for few nights but after 4 days we were ready to explore more. You must have a car to get around.

The location itself in a the town of Agaete is not the best. The city seems quite deserted (not in a cozy way) and for dinner you have only two options of restaurants that are still open (even if google maps say differently). The rooftop is all right, drinks well priced but the cocktails weren't the best. The restaurant seems a bit overpriced for what you get. SPA was run down, so we didn't use the facilities. We asked for some bathrobes and apparently each was 15 euros to rent.

Exclusive, luxurious, modern hotel. A real retreat and a real treat. At first glance looks like a typical pack em in Spanish hotel but it’s not. It’s exclusive because there are no kids allowed, it’s a bit expensive (but worth it), it is in fact a great piece of stylish modern architecture, with lovely ample rooms and effective air con, great helpful friendly staff with high standards throughout, superb breakfasts, great swimming pool and loved the spa (worth every penny @€20 a go), spectacular rooftop bar and exclusive also because Puerto de Nieves is far from the madding crowds. So away from it all and yet a short walk from the hotel to the charcos (natural sea swimming pools) and harbour (to harbour 15 or so mins on foot and a bit a of a steep path but very do-able and easy under foot). Can’t comment on full board, we ate out at night at the harbour restaurants which were great, plenty of the very best of fresh fish there. I’d recommend a room which is both sea view and pool view above ground floor. Ground floor / poolside (for me) lacks privacy.

A very comfortable stay in a beautiful part of the island! The hotel is literally a stone's throw from the Natural Pools and the lovely little fishing village of Puerto de las Nieves and a selection of delicious restaurants. Pool area is very comfortable and provides a great selection of sun loungers and beds. We were on a bed and breakfast option, large variety of food and plenty of it available for breakfast. Staff were very friendly and helpful, nothing was ever a problem. We also enjoyed some massages in the spa which were amazing particularly after a spot of hiking in the mountains! A very nice place to relax and enjoy the beautiful Northern Coastline of Gran Canaria.

Everything was great. Hotel was very clean and comfortable, staff very attentive and hard working, a lick of paint here and there is needed but that's easily rectified.

The check in was good, but no welcome glass of bubbly or soft drink was offered. The foyer, public seating areas and rooftop bar were all lovely for chilling out. Our room, no 320 was huge though it would benefit from a refurb. The double bed was enormous and very comfortable. The view of the sea was fab. We stayed half board and the food was excellent both at breakfast and dinner, plenty of salads and freshly cooked fish and the staff were lovely.

The biggest issue we had with this hotel was that the main dining room was far too brightly lit with mega LED lights, which made the dining experience quite austere and not at all relaxing. Also it was very crowded around the food area adding to a general feeling of discomfort. We also disliked that all the rooms are north facing, making them a bit dark and rendering the balcony unusable in the winter months, as it’s just too cold.

Half board was exceptional. Wide ranging choices of delicious food served in a bright dining room by lovely staff. The rooms were huge; comfortable, bright and airy. Staff were very helpful both at reception and in the dining room. The pool area was clean and well set out with plenty of sun beds - not sure what this would be like if the hotel was really busy though.

Once or twice we would have liked a drink before dinner and there wasn’t a bar open at that time. Also, we could not get a post dinner coffee anywhere without returning to our room - we were a group of 8 friends who wanted to gather together.

The area is really nice not as exploited as the east coast (Las Palmas, Maspalomas etc) but more rocky not as much beaches. I really liked this nature and area. Stunning view from the hotel, roof top, balcony etc, really loved the scenery and that there isn’t too many people there. Dinner buffet with fresh fish and meat, variety of warm food, salad and cold cut

I think the food in the breakfast and dinner buffet was very nice and good quality but the seating area itself is not that nice for being a nicer hotel… not too many windows and weird interia and they had closed off the outdoor area connected (we where here now in January2025 with 25 degrees)

Our room was clean, spacious and beautifully designed. The restaurant offered a wide selection of high-quality, delicious food. The overall atmosphere was excellent, with the building featuring an abundance of natural elements like plants and rocks in their original form.

The bed and bed linens were not of the best quality. The bed moved around with even the slightest touch. Although we requested a double bed, we were given two of these unstable beds instead. The spa was very small, extremely disappointing, and in desperate need of a major overhaul or redesign. I would not recommend it to anyone.
