Excellent location, close to the beach, restaurants, stores. The hotel is big and has an old conial style that makes it beautiful.

In summer time it is very hot, the rooms have no fan, there is no air conditioning either. My room had only one window and the air did not circulate because there was no wind. The cleaning lady closed the window every day and when we arrived at night the heat was unbearable.

Great location close to the old town and beaches with lots of bars,and restaurants nearby. Clean, basic, rather dated rooms but good value. Friendly and helpful staff. The pool and terrace on the top floor. I would stay here again.

There are three lifts and they all seem to have been out of action for weeks. The steps up to the plaza in front of the building are in a poor state and could be quite dangerous. It's a handsome building so it's a shame that its being allowed to decay. A few basics for the kitchenettes like salt, pepper, oil, a sponge and detergent would be much appreciated.

Lovely old fashioned building (bordering tatty but still charming, spacious, well positioned and very good value for money). Staff is very nice and helpful. Our room was also in a quiet part. I would stay there again.

Bathroom floor’s incline is wrong and the shower head was old splashing everywhere so we flooded the hall a couples of times no matter how carefully we showered. Perhaps a screen or curtain would help? Toilet’s flushing wasn’t very efficient (maybe a bucket and a mop in that particular apartment would be helpful for both situations mentioned above). Also there’s a lot of scale on the shower tray and in the toilet, but the sewage might not support descaling solutions. 🤷🏻‍♀️At night it got a bit chilly and the blankets were thick and heavy, not the type that you could hope get cleaned after each client so I didn’t dare to use them, but that might only be my mind.

This was our second stay at the Florida Plaza, excellent location right in the heart of everything, special word of thanks to manager Louis Carlos who was exceptionally helpful and efficient, also to all of his staff from the ladies looking after our room everyday to the receptionists, we will definitely return to the Florida Plaza. Everything was perfect, great value for money

Very friendly staff. The room, although old, was spacious and useful with the kitchen. We had a room with a balcony facing the square, so daylight and fresh air came in, and it wasn't noisy at night. Very well located.

The walls to adjoining rooms were a bit thin and we could hear neighboring guests talking in the background. Access by car/parking nearby is very complicated.

Value priced, well located, and great standards hotel, large reception area and ground floor, with great views and lovely balcony patios. There is a fridge and cooker in each room.

Could feel the spring in the mattress, and heard every word from next room.

The facilities and location were amazing. Staff were very friendly!

It would have been nice to have dish soap and a sponge provided :)
