The location was excellent and the food was great in the restaurant. The staff were attentive to you and very friendly. The Spa was great and the location excellent for walking in the mountains. The weather was superb when we stayed for our walks and late afternoon relax in the spa and outside, but on a cloudy/rainy day the experience could be different If wanting to walk / sun bathe outside .

I came to this hotel looking for peace and relaxation, and it truly delivered. The surroundings are tranquil, the hotel is lovely, and the atmosphere is perfect for unwinding. A special thank you to Angelo at reception, who was extremely helpful, professional, and always a true gentleman. Lisa at the spa provided excellent treatments that really helped me relax, and Vincent from the restaurant, along with the entire team, made every meal a pleasure with their friendly and attentive service. It’s rare to find such genuine hospitality these days. Highly recommended for anyone seeking a peaceful, high-quality getaway.

We have been to four different places around Tenerife (north through south) and therefore I believe we can compare hotels and the value we are getting price wise. This hotel-spa is a perfect combination. Breakfast/dinners: the menu is small but they nailed it. SPA: perfect location in the pines, the sun is always there and there is a nice chill temperature in the evenings (we stayed in the late May). The treatment (massage, pedicure, facial) were great as well. Highly recommend! Pool/saunas: there are two saunas (60 and 70 degrees), and a Turkish one. The swimming pool can be shaded if needed. Also there is a jacuzzi. We enjoyed these facilities. Rooms: large enough, especially for a couple. Location: within 20 minutes drive to watch stars next to Teide. And also about 20 minutes if you really want to go to the beach.

I would recommend to impose a permanent ban on smoking inside the hotel including balconies. Unfortunately, during one night one of the neighbour was a smoker. Have to shut the doors. One sauna needs some renovation as the wood is weak already.

Helpful, friendly and welcoming staff - especially Vincente in the restaurant. The hotel is beautiful and set in large grounds with a great view. You can set out for short walks or long hikes directly from the hotel into the woods behind. We enjoyed the sauna,Turkish bath and pool. Breakfast was included and delicious with cooked choices and a large buffet. The room was very large and well presented.

Worth considering before booking is that you will need a car - or taxi from the town. The pretty town of Vilaflor is not well served with buses and is a fair walk away from the hotel which is situated up a fairly steep hill.

Stunning location, charming hotel and excellent service. We stayed a in ground floor garden room, which was very spacious and comfortable. Choices of pillows. Powerful shower. Everything you need for a fabulous stay. Lovely spa with refreshing swimming pool, jacuzzi, two saunas, steam room, cold plunge pool and ice. Massages are available too. The breakfast was lovely - plenty of choice and dishes freshly cooked to order. The hotel foyer and wooden staircase are gorgeous. The lounge has an open fire in winter we loved the chess table. Restaurant was excellent - plenty of choice. Staff were friendly and genuine. Thank you to Vincent and Junior and the all staff for excellent service. The reception provides 5 star concierge assistance. This a special place which combines modern comfort and expertise of traditional hotel service rarely found any more. We will return as it was one of the loveliest hotel we’ve stayed in.

The spa was large, quiet and easy to use. We chose a cheaper room that was still really functional and clean. The breakfast was good and relaxed. The staff were helpful and available. The sunny terrace was a highlight. The food in the restaurant is great and the best in the village.

There was not enough information on nearby walking opportunities and the very basic sheets they printed out had not been checked or verified by staff as they could not advise us where to walk. They could make much better ones themselves by going around the area and making simple tail maps for visitors. It was quite a walk uphill back from town -a simple shuttle service might help with that

I enjoyed literally everything, the location is perfect. This place is ideal to disconnect and stay close to nature. There are a lot of amazing hiking spots in the neighborhood. The hotel is clean with a really nice SPA and I recommend using at least one option of massage - they are amazing. The staff is professional and very friendly. It's a very quiet, clean and beautiful place. I will be back 100% ❤️ Thank you guys for the hospitality and wonderful experience 🙏🏻

The spa was great and was open before and after check in/out times which was wonderful and gave us a lot of flexibility, if open a bit later it would be exceptional. Checkin time is very early which is great! The breakfast was great! but finishes a bit early (as in other hotels).

The reception. Sometimes not very welcoming, complicated process, takes long and not always respectful staff. Once we arrived early and left our bags there and were told that they would be put in our room when ready. Which was never done, I had to do it myself and anyone else could have picked up our bags, left in the hall nearly unattended... Merge the reception table with the reception room behind, that way the staff can do their stuff without looking like they are hiding in that back room and like we are bothering them when we arrive. In the room add blinds to the toilet door.

Mesmerize location, super friendly staff, not overcrowded, quite and calm, perfect spa facilities with several saunas and huge pool, sophisticated and tasty restaurant inside, tasty and full of options breakfast, super cozy lounge room to spend the evening after the dinner.

Pricey, messy procedure of extras in spa like massages(need to book several times only to get rejected in the end due to full), you can't order any food or even the snack's between breakfast and dinner in the restaurant only the drinks.

The smell of fresh ground and plants. ▪︎ the stuff: friendly and helpful in every way. There is a feeling of welcoming, like staying with distant relatives 🙂 ▪︎ spacious rooms. Pleasant and home- like decor. Wonderful communal lounge room, with cosy sitting. ▪︎ Full hearted breakfast both buffet and cooked, everything fresh and tasty. ▪︎ Vilalba is 100% getaway.
