We stayed in the pool access adults only rooms and they were fantastic. Very spacious with a really comfortable bed, and seating area, plus balcony with a sun lounger. We stayed in both an upper and ground floor room, and preferred the upper floor. The location was also great, a bit out of central Ao Nang so very peaceful. We hired a scooter from the hotel and could easily get to the main centre in 5 mins. Staff were very helpful.

The main pool area was a little cramped, and always very busy. The spa was nice but quite expensive, you can get massages in Ao Nang at similar standard spa’s for much cheaper.

The hotel was lovely, our family room had no view but it had bunk beds which the children loved. The pool is beautiful and the staff was friendly and helpful. I needed to make a Zoom call on night and they gave me a great meeting room which was greatly appreciated. If you're traveling with a car the location is great and you can avoid the massive crowds of Ao Nang beach.

The wifi wasn't 100. Breakfast was nice but could have been better, especially the coffee. The toilet room was very small and not suitable for tall people :) But these are all very minor

Breakfast is one of the best in Krabi with a variety of selections and fresh food, The spa studio baths are amazing and definitely worth staying here for. Pool and staff also very good

just a bit far away from everything but not really a problem when having a scooter and also they run a very efficient tuk tuk service which is very handy

The room was very overpriced. We stayed in better hotels in Thailand for a lot less money. There was no wardrobe in our room, just a small clothes rail. For a suite in a 5 star hotel this was quite poor.

Anana is a great place to stay if you want to be a bit away from uninspiring Ao Nang. The staff is very friendly and makes your stay very pleasant. Prices of food and trips are a bit higher then in Ao Nang itself but it’s easy to use the free shuttle and eat somewhere else (about 10x p/day). Also it’s easy to book a Bolt to make your way around. The rooms are great with nice views and the swimming pool is a pleasure. In general Anana is a good and affordable choice for Ao Nang but we won’t recommend going to this busy And unattractive touristic hot spot at all. But if you go: do the dragon crest hike, a true gem! And visit Klong Muang beach which is much better then the one in Ao Nang (and overcrowded Railay)

There was nothing not to like.

There was nothing not to like about the property. The only things that was extremely disappointing was that we did a wash service and all our clothes got ruined. After hours of fighting they agreed on paying for our clothes the morning that we left. We came to the desk and there was a small woman crying her eyes out because she needed to pay over 250 euro’s. Apparently the hotel outsourced the washing service and let the small business owner pay for all the damage and they made sure that we saw everything. We eventually choose not to take the money because we can afford to loose it and she couldn’t. The total damage was over 500 euro’s. We hope that the insurance will cover it but this is a very bad look for the hotel. Shame.

What an unforgettable experience! From the moment we arrived, everything was immaculate – the attention to detail in every corner of the place was truly impressive. But what really made the stay exceptional was the outstanding staff. Their warmth, energy, and genuine friendliness were absolutely contagious. A special shout-out to Sasa, whose yoga sessions were a perfect blend of peace and strength – a real highlight of our stay. Sode went above and beyond with incredible service, always attentive and kind. And Hassan – hands down the smiliest, most joyful person we met – lit up every room he walked into! We also loved Por and Charlie – both were brilliant, professional, and so friendly. Every interaction left us smiling. Truly a 5-star experience in every way. Can’t wait to return!

Anana was an exceptional place to stay for us. We spent 5 nights there and made friends with 1 other couple and a solo traveler. And we ended up seeing each other frequently after! Our check-in was smooth and we highly recommend renting out a scooter ($9/day) as this would allow you to take regular trips to Ao Nang beach (7 minutes) or the supermarkets without worrying about the shuttle schedule (shuttle leaves to Ao Nang beach once every hour). Not to mention that scooting around is one of the coolest activities we did! It really allows you to discover the area from a different perspective. With that out of the way, Anana is this calm place where you can really take things at your own pace, but it's not too calm that you feel you're alone there, and that's something to like as there's a wonderful vibe at the pool, especially when the sun is setting and everyone's grabbing drinks at the pool bar. If you feel like relaxing in the pool with nothing but the sounds of nature, I recommend taking a dip a little after 6 PM once everyone leaves to prepare for their evening night out. I just sat there for 20 minutes wandering and enjoying the peace, it really is a special feeling. The pool bar closes at 6 PM and the gathering after that happens at the rooftop bar/resto where you can enjoy the sunset. The rooftop is yet another special place in Anana and you can feel an air of enjoyment and peace while you dine with your significant other or continue sipping on those awesome cocktails (highly recommend the pina colada)

Communicating in English was sometimes a bit tough, especially if you're trying to get a food recommendation from the waiter or explaining something a bit complex to reception. However we still recommend taking a genuine interest in the staff and their lives as they'll make a similar effort to communicate with you and learn about your life as well - granted you will be greeted with an even bigger smile next time you see them. I spent a good time chatting with Kit, Natmee, Chuk The food was excellent but I personally felt that it wasn't always consistent (I had the stir fry chicken twice and it was much better the first time around). It's also a bit on the high end price wise, but remember that you're in a 5-star hotel, so average food prices outside will be lower.

This hotel is a true gem for anyone looking for a peaceful retreat just outside the village. Its location offers a calm and quiet atmosphere, away from the busy center, yet remains very convenient thanks to the shuttle service that runs every hour between the hotel and the village. The staff were absolutely lovely—always friendly, helpful, and truly proactive in making sure everything went smoothly. The rooms were spotless and spacious, making the stay even more comfortable. They were also very accommodating when it came to dietary needs, and gluten-free food was no problem at all. I would seriously recommend this place to anyone visiting the area.

A very, very nice boutique hotel with simple yet elegant finishes and a team of well-trained, genuinely friendly staff. The food selection is tasty, the Happy Hour cocktails are excellent, and the pool is lovely and relaxing. You can tell the owner has a background in hospitality (formerly with Intercontinental) — the attention to detail really shows. Honestly, we don’t understand some of the negative reviews. We usually stay just two nights in each hotel, but even though it’s further from beach and main road this time we made an exception and extended our stay here until the end of our trip. We’ll definitely be back!

Construction noise started early in the morning, but it's understandable as upgrades are being done during the low season. We also agree with other comments about the poor sound insulation between rooms. One of the new arrivals had a loud conversation until 1am, and we couldn’t sleep that night. As a gentle reminder — guests, please be mindful of others.
