We loved the sea view from our room and the swimming pools were particularly nice. The resort has a sister resort 5 km away at Lamai Beach with a daily free shuttle service. Great if you want a beach walk, swim or just pick up supplies from 7-Eleven because there are no convenient shops near Baan Hin Sai Resort. The way the buildings have been integrated with nature is uplifting and the friendly staff make you feel special. We were totally spoiled by them all.

The resort is over 20 years old and maintenance is overdue in parts but nothing that would spoil your time there.

The staff was excellent. The manager even upgraded us to a private pool suite for a few days because we stayed there for over 3 weeks. It was wonderful! The restaurant staff are superb. Shout out to Sunny who always has a smile and kind word. The hotel has amazing views of the ocean!

The property is in need of many repairs. Pool tiles (many) are missing and walkways need repair. The maintenance staff keep the grounds clean every day. But without these repairs, the property looks neglected. Also, there is not much by way of restaurants off resort. It is hard to walk to much of anything. So you must grab a red truck or rent a vehicle.

It is better to see and experience something once than to hear about it a thousand times. This is probably one of our most unforgettable trips we had with my wife. Baan Hin Sai Resort and Spa is one of the best resorts we have visited till now. The receptionists were really helpful and friendly. Great staff who knew how to serve their guests. From the balcony, we could view the sea and feel the cool breeze. The location of our room was stunning. A very good place to relax and chill. The scenery was beautiful and it was a relief to walk in such a quiet and surrounded by lots of trees that makes a peaceful environment. Indeed, a piece of paradise in the region. We must say the location of the resort is the best place to unwind, for self-care and to escape from the hassle and bustle of the urban lifestyle. A well-trained massage services in-house. Luckily we met Mr. JJ, the manager of Baan Hin Sai Resort and Spa. He briefed us about a few places to visit while spending our holiday in Ko Samui. He made our stay more comfortable and enjoyable. Restaurant is amazing place to work from as there is good wi-fi connection Maybe the resort is not perfectly located in the center , but it’s perfectly located in beautiful and quiet place to hide from all the noise. Stuff is helpful Breakfast buffet is delicious and good

Wi-fi connection at the room was not that good and had some hickups while working because connection did drop quite a lot. If you plan to work, then be ready to use your mobile internet as it will be more stable

First of all the staff was amazing and bent over backward to make you happy (setting up trips, getting you a motorbike etc. Loved my room (faced the ocean w a two-person hot tub). It was a long walk to my room but the golfcart shuttle was helpful. The pools were great, and there is an amazing swing on the rocks at the shoreline (must try).

The property is a bit dog-eared in the common areas and needs some general maintenance, breakfast could be a little more consistent in what it offers. Not for people who have a hard time with hills as there are a lot of them and a lot of steps up to your apartment (not sure there are any rooms accessible by an elevator). It's a beautiful setting and views. But it's on a main road so it's not walkable to anything. But the location in general is very central, so equal distance to a lot of places. No beach access, but it doesn't say that there is.

We were upgraded to room 401 (not sure on the last digit). It has a marvelous view and a very nice pool. The Restaurant has incredible views and also has the Stairway to Heaven. Golf Cart transportation helps you navigate the hills to up and down as this property is nestled into a hillside on the water.

The room 401 (not sure on the last digit) shared the same pool on the deck. Thought it was strange to have two rooms next within the same building and share the same pool. Lucky for us, we were the only ones in the building so no sharing was required.

Clean, welcoming and perfect service. We had a wonderful time at Baan Hin Sai! We got offered everything we needed, asked for and most of the time something on top of that. The staff is extremely kind and helpful, we really felt welcomed and taken good care of. The food was very delicious and the service there was funny and very polite. The room service was quick and cleaned very good. At the Lobby we were always greeted with a smile and got all the information and help we needed. Thank you Baan Hin Sai-Team See you soon

The private pool suite with view on the sea have been stunning , staff was super nice ,to reach the room they used to accompany us with graceful golf kart that we used to call from the room even to go back up.I had the pleasure to spend the day of the birthday of my girlfriend there and they surprised her with a gorgeous little cake that was super cool and even an fantastic work of flower art on the bed to wish her happy birthday day.It was everything so precious we couldn’t deserve more.We have been sad to leave the resort that surely isn’t collocate in the newest structure but it's managed and maintained at the best. We will surely repeat the experience soon.

amazing setting, well located. beach front view which was beautiful for sunset/sunrise. we’d recommend the sea view rooms. staff were very friendly and helpful especially mahipal!
