10 minute walk down to the Haad Rin beach area. Didn’t go when parties were on and was very quite but enjoy it very much. Plenty of choice of bars restaurants. Booked our ferries out of the island and hired a bike through without any complaints.

The minute we arrived we were asked did we want to upgrade our room but had to give them a 5 star google review. Seems strange and the upgraded room was actually worse as we wanted to inspect it. Would never get 5 star review for the sake of it. Other than that it was lovely trip.

Staff attentive and super nice but do not speak understandable English. Only one boy. Beachfront bungalow was clean, good and had free Netflix. The shower wonderful. Bed very comfy, so are the pillows. Pool is amazing, great and enough wooden loungres, towels fresh every day, for pool and bathroom. 2 bottles of water in the fridge free daily. Beach is small but very nice, they clean it in the morning. But we didn't see any ppl at the beach swimming. A swing is there and some nets to lay on. A few nice cats and dogs on the property, we loved that so much, we are animal lovers. We ate dinner at their restaurant, the food was great, prices quite expensive. The property is really nice but the wind blows all the time. Some reviews stated that the dj at a bar next to the pool keeps the music too loud which we didn't notice. He has music but it's nice volume. Pier to go to Koh Samui just a 5 minute walk.

Staff speaks poor English, breakfast options were only two and very expensive, no fresh fruit inclusive, so we went out to eat, cheaper and fresh fruit with tea with lemon and honey or coffee. When we came to one of our rooms the TV and wifi did not work but they fixed that soon. The ac in mounted on the wall in front of the bed and it keeps blowing directly on the bed in your head, that was really not ok. If you turn it off it gets really hot.

Based on the star rating and price, this was an excellent place. The villa was very clean, and the views from it lovely. Right on the beach - almost private beach. The pool was great also. Location to Haad Rin walking street and Haad Rin east beach was within 5-8mins walk. Also close to restaurants, 7-11 and ferry port for Koh Samui (free shuttle service run by the hotel). Team at the hotel were very very nice, always smiling and there to help. It was our anniversary and they made a welcome message of flowers on our bed - thank you.

The pool, lounger, bar, restaurant, beach access and beanbags setup is so good! Never had to leave if you just want to chill. The room was nice with a good view of the sea and it was the quietest room we had in 3 months of travelling around Asia. Friendly staff throughout, put the twin beds together for us and added a missing mattress topper for us when requested.

Our room was up around 70 stairs at the back of the resort - not a huge problem for us but it was quite an effort and would be problematic for anyone with mobility issues. Housekeeping seemed to happen late in the day (or skipped us?) which meant we were often back in the room before it took place, so we went 3 or 4 days without housekeeping.

Very cute small villas right on a private, cozy and small beach. Location-wise the hotel is a few steps from the main street but still quiet enough. The pool area has a beautiful view to the sunset, there were always enough sunbeds and hammocks (although it was not fully booked.) Everything is well maintained.

Sometimes it got a bit loud with the bungalows being so close to each other and with thin walls.

Extremely nice/friendly and well informed staff, it was always a pleasure to talk to any of them. The location is an excellent distance from walking street, far enough away to not hear anything and close enough to walk in 5 minutes. The villa was clean and the bed and pillows were very comfortable for both myself and my wife. The pool and all the garden areas were well maintained and always clean. Large pool area with nice lounges and drink tables. Lovely villa porch with comfortable chairs and table to relax and take in the views...and of course give the local kitties some love. The unobstructed sunset daily was incredible, it truly is Sunset Beach Villas.

It would have been nice to have an indoor (AC) chair/table to use laptop, etc. Prefer to have liquid labeled in shower so you know what your getting and no waste. Understanding the key card is a must to keep power usage under control, in my opinion the porch light should be able to be on when you go out at night(18:00ish dark) so can see coming back to villa. Since the villa key and power key card are mated, it would be a positive if you could lock door without turning the power on and off... Simply have the lock knob (not key) on inside of villa.

The staff was very friendly. We stayed in a pool.villla and had a great view of the pool and ocean. The bed was large and comfortable with six pillows. The shower was warm and had two shower heads. Most of all i liked their Tiki bar by the beach. Two fun bartender there all day. I would stay here again

My only complaint is we drank all of their San Miguel Lights and it took them a little while to get more, but that was a very small issue

The pool area is just perfect, literally right on the beach, absolutely stunning. The sunsets here are unbelievable - stay for a while after the sun goes down to see the beautiful colours in the sky! Walking distance to everything including the full moon party but far enough away to not know it was happening if you didn’t fancy it.

The room was basic but the location and pool more than made up for this. Great food in the restaurant as well.

The most beautiful place we stayed at in Thailand! That pool by the beach with the swing during sunset, absolutely magical. The room was very comfortable and clean as well. It’s a 10-minute walk to Haad Rin Beach from Sunset Beach Villas and we stayed here for the full moon party, but would absolutely recommend this place for any trip to Koh Phanang. I would even say it was our favorite spot on the island!

Everything, we spent 4 nights at the hotel and it was amazing. The bed was comfortable, everything was clean, the shower had surprisingly hot water (compared to the rest of thailand) and the outside shower was an awesome commodity. The swimming pool and beach were beautiful and have the best sunset view ever. The staff was extremely nice and helpful, and we were able to rent a motorcycle at a cheap rate from the hotel. Thanks !!
