This property is set in such a beautiful garden, with each bungalow set back in its own section. It looks busy but you really do feel like you’ve got your own space. The staff were really kind and helpful, as I’d just come out of hospital with Dengue fever. Not far from the ocean, an underrated beach it’s a little rocky.. but the sea is so peaceful even with the boats coming in and out of thong sala. Walking distance from the Main Street and 7/11 where there are loads of places to eat. The TV has Netflix and YouTube.

The restaurant was quite expensive for the quality. I booked a double bed but got given two singles, bed was very hard and the pillow was even harder.

Staff was friendly especially a server in the restaurant named Sai he was always friendly always smiling and willing to help. Exercise in the room the pool was good the sides of the room was good and it was a good location to the main part of the island. Close to restaurants and shops. They did a good job at keeping the grounds cleaned they're always seem to be someone out there raking up the tree and windfall.

It's definitely in need of updating. Our room definitely could have used a little TLC and the outside by the pool could have had covers on the shade areas. It would be nice if they would maybe pull that old rickety broken down canoe on the beach out and maybe clean up some of the trash and take care of the wires that are poking out of the pool.

Short walk to pool beach and town. Beautiful garden setting Wifi was good, so youtube and Netflix [our account] had few stops. Very friendly Burmese maids. Good firm bed. Small dressing area handy. Beach and pool nice. Sufficient comfy chaise longue at pool. Free ride to ferry pier hourly.

Slow to fix minor things in the room. Shower pressure and temperature varied greatly. Usually was quiet but 1 night out of 30 nextdoor occupants talked until 4am on the balcony waking us. Didn't supply chalk for or maintain. pool cues. Restaurant service and value so-so.

Loooooved the pool and beach area! Basically a private beach. The room was spacious but the bed wasn't very comfy. Decent air-conditioning. The bathroom felt quite stuffy and there were vents where mosquitos could get through but we kept the bathroom door closed. There's a lamp which was good but not many accessible plug sockets. Overall really good stay here! Very good value for money. However we did have to go into our room through the window at one point as the lock stopped working from the inside... so had to lock it from outside and get in through the window so we could lock the door at night !

-Do not message them via Booking.com as they will not reply. I messaged them twice about changing our dates (needed to check out a day earlier) and they had no knowledge of it when I arrived. Not a big deal but if we needed to completely change our dates, it might have been a problem. -There was a shelf sticking out of the wall above where our heads would rest on top of the bed. I banged my head off this in the middle of night as it’s right above the pillow. I provided a picture. Not exactly comfortable… -Some areas of the room were run down but we didn’t mind this much

We had the bungalow right on the beach front which was amazing! Such good value for money as we also had a room upgrade from booking.com the views were stunning and the room was large. The hotel staff were super super friendly and really helpful. They provided a free shuffle to the pier on the day we were leaving. The air con was perfect, warm water and good water pressure for a shower..The room was clean. Location was great - 10-15 mins walk into town. 5 mins walk to the food court. Very close to pier.

The decor was slightly outdated and we couldn't use the light switches whilst the travel adapters were in (design flaw) but this is the only fault I can think of.

We have visited Da Kanda villa beach resort for 3 years in a row now and it never let's us down! From the lovely friendly staff in reception to the wonderful bar/restaurant we always enjoy our time here. The resort has a pristine pool and is situated on the beach not far fron Thong Sala pier. Plenty of restaurants and shops nearby as well as night markets. Reception always organise scooters for us and we spend the days exploring beautiful Koh phangan. I would always recommend this peaceful serene resort and look forward to my future visits!!

Clean, comfortable, pretty location, big rooms with ample space. Short walk from the pier. Some friendly and helpful staff- especially on the front desk. Excellent resort next door where we spent a lot of our time.

Its a shame that the beach this resort is so quiet and quite run down. You can’t swim in the sea as it is so shallow. Many of the resorts along the strip have closed so it is quite eery at night. None of this is the responsibility of the resort but those booking should be aware. We still had a lovely stay and would recommend the resort, but those booking should make sure they do their research properly depending on the type of trip desired.

Good location close to main street markets, shops, and restaurants. Two minute walk to the beach, nice pool area. Staff were very accommodating and friendly. Scooter hire on premises at a good rate.

The resort is in need of a freshen up. Our outdoor table and chairs were bamboo, which is fine, but it was falling apart. Inside is also dated, and the bathroom needs a revamp. Nothing major, it is habitable, no major mould visible in our room, which was an upstairs room, not one of the bungalows. We had a drainage issue which the staff fixed quickly and politely.

Rooms in the building are 3 out of 10. Standalone villas are superb. Water pressure in both is very low - it takes ages to wash the shampoo when one shower. Location is very good- it is both quiet and close to night market as well as to entertainments. Personnel is very supportive. Also you can order motorbike rent right form the reception. Laundry is available for additional charge. Beds in both are made of concrete but matrass is still comfy. There is good food service in the hotel. Pool is nice. Beach is not ideal for swimming. But this area is perfect for wind surfing.

Water pressure in the shower is very very low
