Everything was great - friendly staff, location, layout, facilities and the breakfast and onsite restaurant food… apart from two things…

I have to agree with the majority of guests who have experienced the mattresses and commented on this 🥴 it is the one and only fail of this place and for the price I think a comfortable sleep is pretty important. I suggest they use the concrete mattresses to pave the rough, unlit road that offers the only access to the resort. Both a quick cheap fix - change the mattresses and have solar powered lights on the road - why this hasn’t happened yet I don’t understand as those two things appear to be the two issues from guests… including me.

The place is beautifully decorated, large and spacious rooms, located on the sea, with a large pool. The spa was worth every penny, at the highest level we experienced in Thailand.

‏A policy instead of the towels in the room is like in a hostel. The room has a limited amount of towels, including the pool, and if you lack a towel they will take you money. In practice there is no towel for hands just for face, body, floor and pool. On top of all this they put only towels of a pool to use for the shower (yellow) every day claiming there are not enough towels. And we do not put all the towels we "signed" on them. Suddenly there are no face towels, no 2 towels for the floor. There is no gym on site.

Room and bathroom very good size. We had the best massage at Pharaoh Spa. The location was not great as inland from main road and 2km of dirt road to get to hotel. Could not walk to main road or streets. No beach as well so cannot walk as water comes upto the wall of hotel. We had dinner at the restaurant and the pizza was good.

Location was not good. No beach access or street access as have to walk 2km or call Taxi

Very nice territory of the hotel, rooms are huge and full of light. It’s very quiet and calm around (I had the rooms not facing the pool though) The restaurant is cool as well, you can have a dinner there as the interior and terrace are amazing, or order the food straight into your room

Something needs to be done to the road leading to the hotel from the main street, it’s really a disaster (specially if driving a bike) Eventhough the seaview from the restaurant is spectacular, there is no beach here so this has to be noted if you are looking for the beach acces when looking for a hotel

Place was very clean,pool was lovely for my kids and nothing was too much trouble for the staff. Would definitely book again for next time. Will also recommend to all my friends and family.

The only problem with the property was the first part of road being very bad with loads of bricks not being run in and hard to take kids over when it was nighttime or if it’s been raining so your cut off and you have to take a taxi which can be quite expensive.

This resort is beautiful- we originally booked 3 nights as a change from our booked accommodation which was awful - coming to summer resort was like heaven the staff can’t do enough for you. The restaraunt spa and pool bar are all amazing - we extended our stay but 4 nights partly due to weather but also due to how amazing this place is

Wish it had a gym

I was in this hotel for the first time, it's really cool, great restaurant, pool is great, location is pretty good. Food is delicious, clean, well, everything was top notch.

The only thing is if you don't use a bike/taxi and it rains, it flooded the road next to hotel I couldn't walk, and on the other side is the tide and the river and it turns out you can't get out of the hotel if it rains hard It happened once, but it's not nice.

Very stylish from reception to beach otherwise a disaster

Dirt track approach to hotel and no access to beach. No sunshades at the few sunbeds provided. Although the staff were friendly and helpful mostly did not have basic communication skills needed in a resort. Notice on reception stating that 3%extra would apply to credit card payments.TV did not work and staff sent to sort it out could not do so.

Lovely, very spacious room. We had room E09 (upper level) which had a clear view to the beach, just opposite the restaurant. Huge spa, but we didn’t use it (too long to fill, we guessed). The restaurant served great breakfast/dinner - exceptionally good, the Chardonnay burger and Hot beef salad. Great pool and cocktail bar, adjacent to it. The staff tried their hardest to accommodate us. One negative, though was, on SOME Friday nights, and our first night there, the beach bar (separate business) 30m from the restaurant, cranks up the music for an all night party - pounding full blast, non stop till 4.30am. The hotel were very obliging and moved us as far as possible, but we could still hear the pounding through the walls. I would suggest some guests might appreciate a little sleep and for the hotel to deal with this asap. Another glitch was the dirt road leading to the hotel. The staff were friendly and the rooms were lovely. The chef was awesome, had a delicious sea bass at his BBQ, restaurant on the beach was great

There was some kind of big party next to the hotel and we got no sleep as it was still thumping around 3am. We were surprised the Hotel didn't let us know. Our rooms were close to the boundary so most susceptible to this noise I think. When we mentioned to the reception desk, they didn't think it was a problem and laughed and said it happens.
