Perfect location right by the small beach, not far from Thong Sala pier. The restaurant was amazing, best views & sunsets. Great cocktails and pizza. We had a free buffet with entertainment, Thai dancers and fire show, such a lovely evening. The staff are what makes it, they were so friendly and helpful, helped me book a snorkelling day trip to Koh Tao & Nang Yuang. We hired scooters and went to Phaeng Thoi waterfall nearby & Koh Raham cafe. Our beach villas were stunning, incredible views, comfortable and peaceful, better in real life than the photos, also decorated with pretty lights and Xmas decorations. 1 small bottle of water each per day provided. We arrived early and were allowed to check in. Has a safe in the room & cleaned daily with fresh towels. Everywhere is sandy so no need for shoes, would highly recommend

During the morning, there is hardly any beach due to high tide but you can sit at a chair and table facing the sea & sunbathe with a drink or get a sunbed by the pool but there aren’t many. Could do with a few more deck chairs to sunbathe on

We had an exceptional stay at this hotel in Koh Phangan. The apartment was spacious, comfortable, and equipped with excellent air conditioning, providing a perfect retreat after a day in the tropical heat. The room service was outstanding — beach and bath towels were changed daily without hesitation, ensuring a fresh and hassle-free experience. The minibar was a pleasant surprise, offering beers from three different brands, as well as chips and sweet snacks, all at very reasonable prices. The breakfast was another highlight, allowing us to enjoy delicious food just a meter from the ocean. The pool was impeccably clean and refreshing. Everything was just very nice, and there’s truly nothing to complain about. Highly recommended!

The only very tiny negative thing was the price of the stay but I guess that’s just Inflation hitting you even in Thailand

We stayed here for a few nights and it was AWESOME. The room was HUGE and beautiful, super tall roof and cool vibe. Everything was super clean. The pool and beach area were gorgeous and such a vibe. It’s right next to where the half moon party was (2 min walk) and there were some really yummy restaurants very close also. The reception also gave us recs for activities.

The only downside was that it was raining a lot (common on Koh Pha-ngan in November) and the rain would leak into the room a bit. Also the door was really hard to lock, the door was definitely a little broken. But other than that, fantastic and great deal for price.

The place is beautiful and the staff in the restaurant and reception were kind. We had the family suite which was very big and comfortable.

We left some money in a closed pouch and left it on the desk in the room while we were at the beach . After room cleaning, the money disappeared! The team in the reception was very nice and we got our money back and even a bottle of wine for the inconvenience. Still ,in a trip of 40 days in Thailand this was the most expensive hotel and also the only one that our money was stolen from the room . In addition, the bathroom had a very bad smell during the entire stay.

Our stay at Milky Bay Resort was exceptional! The owner is so friendly, the staff treated us like royalty, the little touches and attention to details, the care we got from them all made our stay fantastic! All the staff are Burmese (just like the whole island) so they speak more English than Thai. If you can speak Burmese then you could communicate more if they can’t speak English. But they were all so lovely to us including the Thai owner. Beds are not hard just like in other resorts, sheets were always fresh, housekeeping keep changing our towels and keep our rooms so clean. The designs of the buildings is dutch and decor and concept is so well-thought of. Food every breakfast were all fantastic, drinks at the bar are at great and location is prime, easy walking distance to everything. Thank you Milky Bay for making our Koh Phangan trip so memorable!

The staff were lovely and welcoming. Happy hour cocktails were great. The location is beautiful, but the beach was only swimmable at high tide, when we were there. The bed was comfortable. Mini bar prices very reasonable..The pool was nice..

The bungalow was small and after a storm, sand got in the room and thru everything . The air con worked well but lights up the room and points directly at you. There's a step down to the bathroom and after a shower the floor becomes slippery. There were no opening windows so it was dark in the room.

We keep coming back here year after year, even though we try other places, Milky Bay has our heart. We love the atmosphere, rooms, staff, food. They keep making the grounds and rooms better and it's wonderful to see that the spirit remains unchanged.

Room is clean and smart tv was a great asset. Staff were kind and hotel offered a bus service to the full moon party. Pool was a nice size and the hotel was ideal to base yourself. Note the surrounding area hasn’t much so you may need to travel but the hotel has a restaurant that we ate from several times and enjoyed.

Door didn’t seem to fully close - it’s a sliding door and you could see there was a slight opening. Shower pressure was average.

The staff were absolutely amazing - so kind and helpful to us with whatever we needed. Oo1, Mai and Solo were the best waitstaff; always happy to make changes and have a little chat. The food and bar was great with many different options. Our rooms and grounds exceeded our expectations as the resort is much nicer than the photos shown!

Really minor, but the water pressure in the rooms was not ideal.

The room we booked just right in front of the beach! Staff are friendly. Pizza and Fried rice were delicious! Also lucky for us that stay between New Year we got complimentary New Year Eve Party food during stay! We really enjoy here ☺️

As we got the room right to the beach and nearby the Restaurant. It is a bit noisy 😕
