good party hostel, I spend there the new year time. 5 minutes walk from bantay beach, have some restaurants, 7/11, and bars next to it and cheap food in the hostel bar. I slept in the 6 bed dorm and it was quite good. there's a crossfit gym as part of the hostel facility and football field

as I said it a party hostel, the music in the lobby start around 1 pm or so and it's very loud. not for people who looks for a quiet place, my room was far enough from the lobby but some of the rooms are closer and need to deal with the loud music through the night

The price was amazing. Location good for seeing whole island. It's a social hostel so music and laughter is normal late at night so bring earplugs if that bothers you but overall awesome pool and food and music overall a great experience. Ended up moving here my second day and stayed here almost 2 weeks. Stayed in a shared dorm and met some awesome people, everyone was respectful and the room was nice and clean🤙🏼

One day I went in to renew my room and they charged me more than what booking.com showed and would not charge my normal rate so make sure to book online or you'll pay more in person. Every other staff person was amazing to work with except for that one girl. Some of thw showers needed to be fixed but over all amazing stay and would recommend to anyone wanting a social fun experience. Felt more like a resort than hostel.

Exceeded my expectations. 10/10, 5 star. I like how spacious everything is. I really like the room set-up even with mixed dormitory there was a bunch of us but the room felt spacious and the bathroom being in the room instead of having to leave down a hallway was super great to me. Excellent organization overall, both physically structurally and also with management. I had positive experiences with employees during the week I was there, their responses to when I needed something. There was always cleaners cleaning. This hostel is not just a place to sleep it is an experience, some people come to hang out and have fun for the night even though they don't live/stay there. The music is played loud throughout the entire day every day but fortunately the music is good and sometimes great. This hostel is combined with a sports arena and it is all co-existing very well. Depending on which room you get you may not notice the sports area but it is cool to have around. I never went in the pool but it seemed lovely. 10/10 real emphasis on spaciousness both at the hostel and in the room, and physical organization of the entire place. The way couches are set up, etc.

It was my second time in this hostel 🤸🏾 . They were really kind and let me keep my bicycle in the storage room for a couple of months 🙌🙌🙌. I got a different room this time 8 bed dorm, the bed was really comfortable, the cleaning ladies are doing a really good job . For me it's the perfect place to party, work out , play some sports or just chill at the pool 🌞. The prices are one of lowest in the whole island 🙏. There are 3 supermarkets walking distance and a lot of nice local restaurants 🕺. Def If you are a social person, this is the place for you 💪🌟🌞.

Great value for money! Lots going on and good drinks deals and tickets for event available from reception. Also help to book taxis upon leaving back to the pier. You can walk into Thong Sala in around 30 minutes but we found some good breakfast spots in the other direction and an outside gym (didn’t use it but looked great!)

There is a lot to do at the hostel but they don’t advertise you have to pay to use facilities such as pool and ping pong tables. It wasn’t expensive but think it should be advertised rather than it looking like a free perk. The location is also ok, it’s not really close to a big beach but is it a good location for full and half moon.

so, this was my first time traveling solo, and staying at phangan arena made the whole experience unforgettable. from the moment i walked in, i felt like i was part of a big, friendly family. the staff and volunteers are some of the nicest people you’ll meet, especially jay jay—he’s super chill and always makes sure everyone’s having a good time. the rooms? super clean and comfy. and the best part? there’s so much to do here! whether you’re into sports or just want to hang out and meet new people, this place has you covered. the evening parties are a blast too, with a great vibe that makes it easy to connect with fellow travelers. location-wise, it couldn’t be better. you’re close to all the main piers and just minutes from haad rin beach. if you’re in town for the full moon, half moon, or oxa parties, this is hands down the best place to stay. i’m definitely coming back for christmas and new year’s—can’t wait to relive it all. if you’re traveling solo, do yourself a favor and stay here. you won’t regret it! hope this is what you’re looking for!

for the private room with a shared bathroom, the water pressure in the shower is really low. the water comes out slowly and only a little bit at a time. it would be great if this could be fixed. thanks!

Pool, games, gym, basketball and football fields, bar.. although the problem with the room they helped find another and help me carry the bag upstairs

I saw that a lot of the complaints were about it and it happened to us, we got there and they didn’t charge our credit card for some reason so they didn’t kept the room for us… we needed to stay on a room with sheared bathrooms for one night and then check out and check in… the sheared bathrooms were disgusting but the private room was good.

This place is a fairytale honeymoon suite! The pool is amazing and in wraps around the property. You are right on the beach and can take a dip anytime. It is an absolute beautiful and private place

The resort is very far from all the main attractions of koh samui, being in the north western side of the island while all the attractions are on the east coast. But the sunsets are absolutely amazing every night. Things like massages and food are a little more expensive and they were a little short staffed when we visited so sometimes it took a while for the food to come (hopefully they fixed that by now)

Full moon party great stay, we had a private room just on the side from the actual hostel and it was unreal. Clean and the room was stunning! Would happily recommend to anyone for full moon and to get a private room!

One of the staff members gave us the wrong cash back and when questioned about the short cash back, she started to arguing with us when she knew she was in the wrong! Apart from that it was a good stay!

Good price, good location, friendly staff "Sharif". Enjoy the nighttime at the bar and pool. Very surprise with the welcome card which include beer and meal promotion.

Regarding the reservation system. At first, I booked via Agoda but it passed through the 3rd party, Booking.com. I called directly to the hotel to check my booking and the staff informed me that there was no available room I booked as the allotment between the hotel and online was not matched. There was no room for me. So I had to book directly to the hotel. Once I got to the room (Room 30), the shower (connected to the water heater) had an electrical leak which shocked me. Staff immediately checked but could not fix it at that time, so they moved me to another building (Le Club Hotel) opposite side of the hotel. The room size was good, but I found a dead cockroach on the floor, the water heater didn't work, and very noisy from the neighbor's room watching movies during the night.
