I had an unforgettable and long stay at this hotel, and I couldn’t be more pleased with the overall experience. From the moment I arrived, I was welcomed with outstanding hospitality. The hotel management even surprised me with a complimentary room upgrade at check-in—a thoughtful and much-appreciated gesture that truly set the tone for the rest of my stay. A heartfelt thank you to Mr. Tekin, Ozcan, Gizem, and Cicek – each of them was incredibly supportive, attentive, and genuinely caring. They consistently went above and beyond to ensure I was comfortable and that all my needs were met with warmth and professionalism. I would also like to sincerely apologize for not remembering the other names of the amazing reception team. Every single one of them was exceptional—friendly, helpful, and always ready to assist with a smile. Their kindness did not go unnoticed, and I truly appreciate all their efforts. Another major highlight is the hotel’s location. It’s just steps away from a Tramway station, making it extremely easy to get around the city. Plus, it’s very close to Istanbul’s historical landmarks and lively city center, which made sightseeing both convenient and enjoyable. Without a doubt, this hotel will be my first choice for all future visits to Istanbul. While my overall experience was truly wonderful, there are always small areas where any hotel can improve. During my stay, there were a few minor details that could be enhanced to elevate the guest experience even further. However, these did not significantly affect the comfort or enjoyment of my stay, and I truly appreciate the efforts of the team who were always responsive and willing to assist. I’m confident that with their professionalism and dedication, even these small points will be addressed in the future.

Access to the spa (hammam, sauna, swimming pool) Very well located, right next to Pazzartekke tramway station, on line 1 Nice and friendly staff overall, especially with my youngest kid Clean rooms Fresh water bottles in the room everyday Smells amazing

The swimming pool is mixed so it would be nice if cell phones were prohibited for privacy reasons. Other customers can be quite noisy and we can hear everything from the rooms. I wish we were given instructions on how to get wifi as soon as we arrive, in the room for example, and not have to ask the reception. Teenagers (12 yo) do not have access to the gym if adults want to use the sports equipments. Overall the staff is great but depends on who you talk to. I think it could be more friendly at the reception. At times, it felt like two of the female clerks were annoyed when we asked for help for lost items. The men were amazing.

Quite a few hotel choices were given by Turkish Airways as part of our Stop Over Istanbul. That's how we found Eresin Hotel. We found it's location neither too far away to make tourism difficult nor too near to make it noisy and an over touristy accommodation. Tram stop is two min walk away and a tram journey to Sultanahmet (where main attractions are) is around 15-20 min. And tram ticket was £0.82 per journey. En route there were loads of places around tram stops for eating out. Hotel itself was clean and had all facilities expected of a good accommodation. It's not a basic hotel like Travelodge or a premiere inn. A large reception area, manned 24 hours with reception staff, bell boys and security make it stand out. Staff were friendly and always responded to needs and that too promptly. We could store our luggage for free after checkout. Breakfast was good, a buffet with good hours. Hotel Staff were caring. There always is someone who can communicate in English, for the rest Google translator was perfect. Cannot find any faults, well done everyone who was involved.

the location was fantastic. Ozcan on reception was great as always. he has welcomed us the last 3 times we have stayed in the hotel.

the breakfast was lacking in the range of variety available. I was made to pay for simple fried eggs which was shocking as the breakfast was charged at £9 per person! the orange juice wasn’t also freshly squeezed. for such a lovely hotel, the breakfast could have been much better. lesser quality hotels offer better food for breakfast!

Emre, Ereb and Erdi were extremely welcoming when I arrived at the hotel. As a solo female traveler it immediately made me feel safer and at ease. The breakfast was adequate, lots of options. I used the pool everyday and really enjoyed it after exploring the city via the very close and easy to use tram and buses.

The room was quite dark and sofa/seats need replacing as the fabric looks old and unclean.

What I expected to be just a short night stopover became a wonderful and calming rest. I arrived after midnight after transfer from SAW from the last flight from Kayseri to SAW and was catching up on an international flight from IST in the morning. The front desk officer upgraded me to a suite, and it helped me to recharge over the night. Breakfast options were good as well, and everything was neat. Special thanks to the front desk in charge on 9 Feb 00:30, unfortunately I forgot to catch the name.

Swimming pool, was cold not the mentioned temperature, other customers complained about the swimming pool temperature, that’s why was not much used sadly, and the jacuzzi water also cold, it should have been warm/towards hot like a jacuzzi should be

1. The hotel was old, granted that. But I think the floorings for the room and bathroom were refurbished to keep it up to date. The room was clean though it smells dusty, I guess it’s the curtain that’s making the smell or maybe because it doesn’t get proper ventilation often. 2. The hotel staff were all nice. From Doorman, to receptionist to Bell Boy to Housekeeping. And the pianist was lovely. 3. The location is great! Walking distance to the tram which has access to topkapi palace and sultanamet and the rest of the tourist destinations. 4. The breakfast has good spread of dishes and drinks. I live the different kinds of cheese on the rack.

I think it’s more of a suggestion: 1. They should keep the umbrella available for guests. At the end of the day, it’s a small marketing tool also specially during rainy season. People will use the umbrellas and people are becoming their marketing tools for promotion as they walk and enjoy turkey with their eresin umbrellas. 2. I think the hotel should have a bread toaster to keep the breads hot. A toaster where people can toast their chosen breads.

This is my third time stayed in Istanbul, I love the place, comfortable, convenient, the staffs are very friendly. Highly appreciated Emr - who works at reception, and the manager for restaurant - the one who is always for breakfast, he is ammzing

We had a great experience at Eresin Top Kapi in Istanbul. Our room was upgradet for free, which was a pleasant surprise. The staff was very kind, Saban was very helpful with our heavy luggage. The room was clean and luxurious, the loby and spa are fantastic. The restaurant is exceptional. And just outside the hotel there are stations for buses and the tram. Thank you for your hospitality!
