This was a very pleasant place. Busy, but not crowded or noisy. Great courtyard with a pool and sunshine. Spa and exercise room was very nice, had a great massage. Easy access to taxis and shuttle tours. It felt like home, safe and easy to navigate the premises for breakfast, lunch or dinner. Menu is ok. Location had bank and nice grocery store within 2 blocks of front door which was nice for the kids and us to get snacks and local produce. Truly the best value we ever experienced in Istanbul. Our 4th time in the city and if traveling with kids, this place was so affordable, yet felt kind of 5 star for our few days there!

We booked rooms with 2 beds in each room (adjoining rooms due to 2 kids) and the beds are a bit small. Wish we had at least a queen size bed, but got 2 singles which were pretty modest and small. Not overly generous with towels, but always could get added towels by asking for them. Overall, other than beds which were still ok, the food menu is also decent, but pretty middle of the road. Kids liked it, but for a great meal, you might want to book a taxi to somewhere recommended by the friendly front desk who were awesome! Not much to complain about overall.

I stayed in Holiday Inn Istanbul City for just a night and I really enjoyed my stay. The people working at reception were informative and kind. They were at the end of their shift and the hotel was quite busy, but they didn't let this show. The staff were very accommodating and helpful. My room was clean and smelt fresh. The linen was spotless and the bathroom was nice and tidy. Everything I needed was there. Istanbul is a very busy city, but my room was quiet and the bed was comfortable. I didn't have the breakfast, but I had a quick swim and a sauna in the morning. The lady working at the fitness and SPA reception was lovely and she took me around to show me the facilities. What made a a good impression was that the hotel had a very well-stocked gym with variety of equipment. The location is just perfect - a straight line from all important landmarks and with easy access considering the tram stop is just in front of the hotel doors. I believe I got my money's worth and beyond. I would recommend this hotel to everyone visiting Istanbul.

The only thing I would mention is that water from the sink is not drinkable, but the hotel provides bottled water in every room.

I recently stayed at Holiday Inn Istanbul City and had a fantastic experience, thanks largely to the exceptional team on hand. A special shoutout to Fahri, who went above and beyond to ensure our stay was perfect. His English is excellent, making communication so easy, and he was incredibly welcoming and helpful. Fahri even took the time to make sure we got the best value for our money by confirming that booking directly with the hotel was cheaper than using a platform – a thoughtful and much-appreciated gesture. Another mention goes to Ezgi, who welcomed us with a warm smile at reception. She was accommodating and made the extra effort to provide me with a quiet space to pray within the hotel, which I truly appreciated. Serdar also deserves credit for being attentive and friendly, creating a very welcoming atmosphere overall. Room: The room standard was excellent – clean, cosy, and well-maintained. For smokers, there’s a dedicated smoking floor (5th floor), which was convenient. Overall, the hospitality at Holiday Inn Istanbul City is second to none. The staff truly make this place stand out, and I would definitely recommend it to anyone visiting Istanbul. Thank you again to Fahri, Ezgi, and Serdar for making our stay so enjoyable – I’ll be back!

Feedback: The only small issue we encountered was with the air conditioning. It wasn’t adjustable, and since we visited during the colder season, the AC was set to heating mode. This made the room uncomfortably warm at night, but we managed by opening the windows to keep it cool.

The big downside is that the hotel has some floors where smoking rooms are available— why not make 1 block as smoking rooms and the other 2 blocks as no smoking ?? Also at reception there was a gentleman who was so sos o rude and we felt like thieves — I explain we have prepaid the rooms and why he was still asking for Payment — we stood in reception and he realised his error but did not applogises once !! Think the hotel either give him a warning or dismiss him as 2 other guests commented same in the guy Overall — Ergy and Serkan at reception and bell desk were excellent staff !! Breakfast was good and could improve with more choice of local fruits and fresh orange juice

The chap at reception!! The mix of floors of smoking / non smoking — of the 3 wings — 1 should be smoking and the 2 non smoking rooms Location for team into main tourist area is brilliant — only less than 50 meters to Tram station!!! Saves a fortune on taxis and traffic and reduces pollution

The breakfast was really nice cause I love to have fruits and salads in my breakfast and this time there was ample of them available especially melon and watermelon. The breakfast area was nice. Restaurant and seating outside by the pool was excellent. The lounge in the reception area is really nice and relaxing. Lastly I hope I will have the same experience with you on my next trip to Istanbul . Thank you .

The Matress on my bed was comfortable, however it could have been better to be very honest

Everything was perfect 👌 thanks 🙏 for everyone there,such a nice and beautiful place They set my honeymoon room well and nicely High Professionally and very clean 🧼 Location was perfect near by tram 🚊 station (pazarteke) infront of the hotel 🏨 Bus station neary Restaurants and çapa nearby nice place to walk 🚶 by eat shopping 🛍️ I stayed for 12 days it was perfect 🤩

Big plus it was that in front of the hotel we had the tram that was so easy to go to city center an visit everything. Minus for hotel -the internet didn’t work all night either morning until 7-8:00. The staff very friendly and helpful.

The hote was nice and very clean the staff at the desk spoke well English. Our room way nice and clean and my partner was allowed to smoke . We opted out from breakfast as we didn’t want to wake up early

If your going shopping it about 40 minute walk to Fatih and 15/20 minute taxi ride although the tram is right outside very quick and cheap.

Nice location, nice facilities, nice reception, good over all expireince apart from the last minutes..

The guests are a nightmare and very poorly controlled and managed, bit crowded and messy, especially around the pool after midnight, we were offered to stay at the premesis waiting for an airport cab, yet they opened sprinkles on us at dawn to push us out!!!! It was un acceptable since we offered to pay to stay for few hours but they said no need! Wont affect my room review and my over all expireince, P.s. two bottles of water 330ml each were 100 tl 😅 at the bar
