The hotel is really nice with all the facilities. I had a superior room with sea view (one room with couch and bathroom) and the main bathroom with another bathroom. We arrived at the hotel about 12 and they initially told us that our superior room was not ready. After one hour of waiting in the lobby ( very good conditions, bar, restrooms, internet, couches) we decided to leave but they offered us an upgrade to this particular room which has been cleaned. The room was very convenient with nice views. The staff is always present responding to your demands. We had breakfast everyday: good quality food, great variety of food (patiser, fish, large selection of cheeses), a chef for ordering eggs or omelette. They also have something from the local cuisine halva, baclava, salted cheese pie that we really appreciated. Also good coffee ( they also sell beans separately). The bed was comfortable, the heating system working fast and properly. I also went to the swimming pool and also used ( dry and wet) and I really liked it. Nearby they have a really big gym area that I had not used. They also have hammer. For every guest in a drawer a bathrobe, slippers, a coat for sauna and single use underwear was provided. Also cosmetics were disposable such as hair spray, deodorant so I felt spoiled. I did not tried the massage. At walking distance is Fişekhane a very nice area for dinning and shopping.

The hotel is not located in the old town so to get there you need to take a cab. Taxi drivers in istanbul. I had some difficulties with the taxi drivers who are not using their taximeters machines; also the uber is not working - one I booked by uber and they asked me supplementary 30 euros. But if the hotel staff is calling for a cab then is a correct taxi with normal price and you are able to pay buy card. So I have been saved again by the hotel staff.

The staff were so friendly, but most of all the concierge and breakfast manager who went out of their way to make us happy. The Hotel is spotless and only 6 months old. The breakfast was fantastic with everything you could ask for available. The gym, pool and sauna were immaculate and well equipped. The room was of modern design with 2 large televisions in the bedroom and living room. The centre of Istanbul is only 15/20 minutes away or there is a train station opposite. I definitely recommend this hotel.

An outdoor pool would’ve been nice.

The hotel is absolutely brand new and therefore very clean and comfortable, we were the first who were living in the room which is always nice. Staff were always willing to help. Hotel is located near the Marmara sea shore as well train stations (15 minutes away from the city center) surrounded by newly built elite apartment buildings. The area is filled with multiple restaurants, shops, children playgrounds, etc.

As the hotel was new, pool and fitness center were not working during our stay. Another thing is that although the hotel is located in the upscale area, quality of air seems to be pretty bad despite proximity to the sea.

The staff were excellent in their service and hospitality! They always went above and beyond to cater to our needs and we’re friendly and made us all feel very special! We had the half board option which was lovely for us as the dinners were wonderful with the restaurant staff taking care of our every need. The hotel itself is stunning and I would definitely recommend anybody wanting luxury to stay here! The train and taxis are extremely accessible and the area is a short distance from the historical sites of Istanbul! Perfect for anybody wanting a true 5* experience in the heart of Istanbul!

More options for kids facilities at the hotel ( such as a games room) the hotel does have a kids club but it’s more suited to very young children. It

You can not expect less from Movenpick. The staff at the reception, housekeeping, gym and spa are very helpful, professional and smiling all the time. I did not try the resturant as I was eating outside. The facility overall is modern, calming atmosphere, looks new and very clean. The room is well equipped with modern accessories. The location is excellent and you can find good resturants nearby at Fishkhane. I would like to thank all the staff and thier management for a job well done. Please keep up :) Abdulaziz KSA

The hotel is exceptionally clean, the facilities are amazing, and it includes everything, even a Masjid. Check-in and check-out were quick. The staff is helpful and provided more than what was needed. An employee named Fatah assisted me from the taxi to my room; he was helpful and even translated for me with the taxi driver, for which I am truly thankful. Additionally, the hotel celebrated my birthday with me. The hotel's location is perfect, close to restaurants and the beach walk.

A great choice of food for breakfast, nice room view, that actually shows the sea in all its beauty. Very convenient for travelling around the city, since it's located right across the Zeytinburnu Marmaray station. Very big nice lobby, has a Movenpick ice-cream corner. Personnel is very friendly and always smiles, nice job.

Maybe some minor issues, like having to ask for slippers or tooth paste, also having to ask for daily clean, thought, it should be done anyway, not only by a request.

The room was excellent could not fault it. Liked the swimming pool and sauna. The location was v good a three minute walk to train station 3 stops and your at the centre of all the tourist spots.

Service in restaurant was very slow had to chase up the staff and there was no excuse as it was very quiet. The food was excellent though when it did arrive.

At the reception the staff , specially the lady speaking French was very polite and very respectful, speaking many languages, very reactive to our concerns.

The in room dining was simply ridiculous, presentation , content of the dishes is not at the level of 2 stars hotel , the communication by phone was only yes / no
