Our stay at Wyndham Grand İstanbul Kalamış was truly unforgettable. The hotel’s location is perfect—close to Kalamış Marina and with a stunning sea view. It's an ideal place for both business and leisure. The room was spacious and tastefully decorated, with a comfortable bed and high-quality bathroom amenities, providing a relaxing atmosphere. The staff was exceptionally professional and friendly, especially Mr. Eyüp and Mr. Yiğit, who made us feel right at home. They were always ready to assist with any request, and they knew the whole Istanbul area. This hotel should give them some bonuses or raises for their effort to make this place better. A special thank you to Serdar Bey as well, who went out of his way to assist us with everything we needed and made sure we had a smooth experience. The hotel’s restaurants were also impressive, especially the seafood menu, which was delicious. The spa and fitness center were well-equipped, and we felt completely rejuvenated after our visit. If you’re looking to stay in Kalamış, this hotel is a fantastic choice. It’s peaceful yet conveniently close to everything Istanbul has to offer. We will consider coming back!

Whenever we had a request or needed assistance, instead of helping us directly, the reception staff kept passing us off to other departments or colleagues. This created unnecessary delays and confusion, as it seemed like no one was taking responsibility for our needs other than the concierge team. For a hotel of this caliber, I expected more seamless service and a more proactive approach from the front desk. It was frustrating not to receive the level of attention and assistance I anticipated, especially since we were paying for a premium experience. I hope the hotel improves its communication and coordination between staff to ensure that guests feel well taken care of from start to finish.

It is a good location just behind the marina. Beautiful views. Great buffet breakfast, swimming pool, sauna, wet room, salt room, lobby bar and roof bar. Staff are very friendly.

Additional 5% Service charge. The reception staff did try to charge us this additional service service charge during check-in process. We argued that this is an additional charge and not mentioned on out booking.com booking i.e “it said final price”. Staff said this %5 additional service charge was intoduced 2 months ago. However, our booking was within last month. We refused the pay this additional charge. Finall the manager intervened and cancelled the charge for us. However, I believe they try this with every quest. I believe this additinal charge is not right as we pay normal service charge of 10-15% in hotel bars and facilities anyway.

Amazing staff, from reception to cleaning everyone was always willing to help with a smile. The gym is very well equipped. 2 good outdoor pools. The hotel is quite far from the main tourist attractions on the European side but it was super easy and inexpensive to use the public transport. The taxis are inexpensive as well. The neighbourhood is nice, close to Bagdat street which is lively and full of shops, cafés and restaurants.

Room was smaller than I expected. Bathroom needed an upgrade. Breakfast was very expensive if not pre booked as part of your reservation. Plenty of good breakfast/brunch options close to the hotel. The rooftop restaurant was also more expensive than I expected. I think this has to do with high inflation recently due to falling currency.

I enjoyed the location of the hotel, as well as the quality of breakfast. So many diverse delicious food. I want to address my special thanks to Meric, team leader of the Reception Desk, for finding a prompt solution to a problem I faced during my stay.

Only 1 sort of fruit juice : orange juice. No smoothie, alchohol free cocktail or other fruit juice available (room service, bar).

Love staying here. Short review: - breakfast is very good 👍🏼 - deep tissue massage at spa was super good 👍🏼 - swimming pool facilities at the rooftop made me happy - any food you order in the hotel (in-room dining / rooftop restaurants / breakfast) has a good quality, reliable taste and good serving. I liked it. I’ve been to more than 40 countries and varieties of 4* - 5* - 6* star hotels and can say this staying is a good combination of nice things for this amount of money. Stuff helped me out with every single question. Especially I want to give my thanks to Oguz Eren Tas, who was especially kind and helpful during the whole stay of mine! If marina location is fine for you, I’d definitely recommend. Personally I had a short stay of 4 nights trip.

I wouldn’t say it’s something I didn’t like, rather than smth that I wasn’t aware of : during the stay I asked for the middle room bill and was surprised by the fact that there are several tax charges per room / per day / per service. I think it’s just a thing that should be written or told in advance, as if I was travelling with a certain budget. (For example, one of the taxes was a room charge was nearly +40€ to the final bill (like 8€ per night of staying)). Just be aware of if you are a guest, and as if for the administration- I’d love to be aware of such things an advance, or on the arrival (not in the middle of my staying or get it as a surprise during checkout). Airport hotel, booked last minute due to flight cancellation, very convenient. Kind staff, very clean, brand new.

No airport shuttle (it’s 2 min drive to terminal 1 and and cab cost 10-15 euro- it seems like a shuttle would be a great addition). No comforter/sheets— just a very thin blanket and no extra in the room, I was cold all night

The prices in both bars as well as minibar in the room are very very high. That’s not normal and fair. You push people to bring their own drinks and snacks!

We had stayed the prior week in Sultanahmet in a boutique hotel where the AC kept turning off. We showed up at the Wyndham Grand and were first impressed by the beauty of the hotel, the restaurants and the pools. But the rooms were our favorite. Good sized and great AC ! Loved the location by the marina which had good restaurants. Also very close to the ferry. We could uber every where. Concierge helped us plan a great day trip to the beach. Buffett breakfast was also good. Loved our stay here!!!

I truly enjoyed my stay at this hotel. Everything was well-organized, clean, and comfortable. The atmosphere was calm and welcoming, making it easy to relax and enjoy every moment. The facilities were excellent and met all my expectations. The room was spacious, nicely decorated, and very well maintained. The location was also very convenient, close to everything I needed. Overall, it was a smooth and pleasant experience from beginning to end. I would gladly stay here again and highly recommend it to anyone looking for quality and comfort.
