My stay at Petek Pansiyon in Fenerbahçe, Istanbul, was absolutely delightful. From the moment we arrived, we were warmly welcomed by the friendly staff who made sure our check-in process was smooth and efficient, despite our early arrival. The room we stayed in was cozy and immaculately clean, with all the amenities we needed for a comfortable stay. The bed was exceptionally comfortable, ensuring a restful night's sleep after a day of exploring Istanbul. One of the highlights of our stay was the location. Situated in the charming neighborhood of Fenerbahçe, the pension offered easy access to local cafes, restaurants, and shops, allowing us to experience the authentic Istanbul lifestyle. The proximity to the waterfront was also a big plus, providing stunning views and pleasant evening walks. Overall, Petek Pansiyon exceeded our expectations with its excellent service, comfortable accommodations, and prime location. Very comfortable and spacious apartments, have stayed twice in different rooms and both very comfortable. The only reason I gave a single smile for the staff is because apart from the check in I never saw anyone - not that it was needed at all to be fair as everything I required was already in the room.

For me I actually liked the peace and quiet not having a TV but some people may want one and there was no TV in either of the rooms I stayed in. I had no complaint at all.

As someone who lived about 30 years in Istanbul, I can definitely recommend this pension, since it preserves İstanbul's lost local atmosphere. Spacious and clean, with lots of vintage local furniture and good communication, this is now the top one of our favorite places to stay in Istanbul.

Set on a green peninsula with parks and a marina, it provides a serene and refreshing change of pace. The pension’s original midcentury modern style stands out like a poem amidst the surrounding tall buildings. Unique art pieces, rather than a TV, encourage relaxation and introspection, allowing guests to truly unwind and appreciate their surroundings. The staff are always ready with a smile whenever you need them. I highly recommend Petek Pansiyon to anyone looking to rejuvenate and savor life’s simple pleasures. Location very close to several restaurants overlooking the marina (although not very close to the old city if that's what you're in Istanbul for). Generous size and comfort of the rooms, including aircon. Efforts by non-English speaking proprietor to assist us whenever and however he could. Value-for-money.

The general upkeep and maintenance could be improved ... one or two loose plug points, cracked tiles, peeling paint (although the overall impression was fine, bright and cheerful). The key rings to which the room keys are attached are bulky and heavy ... a real nuisance to carry around in your pocket. Could do with more cupboard space (some rooms had none).

Absolutely gorgeous mid century building with furniture, artworks and decoration to match. Great location in the upmarket area of Kalamiş by the marina. Plenty of good restaurants and cafes. 15 min walk to the metro (Marmaray) station of Feneryolu, only four stops to the old city (Sirkeci station).

Common areas (bar/lounge and snooker room) are not in use and the reception desk was almost always unmanned. In fact the property was almost empty when we visited in mid season. Very quiet if that’s what you’re after!

The property has a perfect location next to the marina in Fenerbahce and the park. You can enjoy a Turkish breakfast in the restaurant beside the sea, a few steps from the Petek Pansiyon. The host is very polite trying to help you with everything - parking, information for the city transport. The apartments are specious and very clean, comfortable beds.

My only remark is for one of the bathrooms. It was a little bit outdated but nevertheless clean.

Love the 1960s and 70s quirky features. Also love how clean the appartement was, and the big windows (lots of natural light in the living/bedroom).

It would have been nice to have had a microwave. Plus curtains that black out the light better. However, these are just a few minor things. I had a great stay!

Everything was so clean. Bathroom, sheets. Interior was interesting. It is like you are in an old turkish movie. And I loved the cups at the room. Elegant and nostalgic

Door had gaps underneath and above. So sound from corridor could be heard. And there was not spoon at the room. I am sure if I asked they would provide but it still would be nice if it is provided.
