The hotel is very conveniently located to the city cebnter and yet at the seaside so you could take short walks to just enjoy being on the water. Great food facilities right next to it, equally shopping options. Just very close to the city center, pedestrian zone etc. Staff was super friendly and helpful. The room was small but very practical for my stay.
While the breakfast was decent it was also a bit limited esp with regards to the "fresh" side of things (vegetable, fruit, muesli or the like). And as it was a weekend it appeared it put some stress on the staff during peak hours of breakfast time.

Can't beat the location at all, interesting concept in budget hotels where you get a small room with a bunkbed system, if you are single, then you just have that bed to throw your bags on. Due to space restrictions (and keeping with the cabin concept) you get a "wetroom" style toilet/shower combo. It is cool really, maybe I will build one on my cabin property myself.
It was fine, I remember needing a fan though, not sure why hotels feel afraid of investing in fans. With climate change getting worse, more people are having heat issues, even in Denmark, lol.

Quick check in and pleasant staff. Room was clean and quiet with a very comfortable bed (queen size). I really do enjoy that the rooms have an electric kettle so you can get a hot drink, even at night. The hotel was only a 10 minute walk from the train station and very close to the shopping street. I do think that you get great value for money.
My only tiny dislike is the scrambled eggs Cabinn makes for their breakfast buffet. It’s so dry and crumbly and its the same at every location it seems. I would gladly pay more for a regular egg.

First we were accommodated in a room with bunk beds - I specially checked the booking - it was not explicitly mentioned in the process of reservation. Afterwards, we paid for upgrade and went into a regular double room with a double bed. So I recommend to explicitly mention the type of the beds, as it they might not fit everyone. Otherwise I admire very much the functionality of the room and the hotel - you have everything you need - not opulent, but enough. I like this sustainable approach!
Only the type of the beds/hotel concept should be explicitly presented in the hotel description and facilities

I've stayed at Cabinn before and I've always found them good value for money. The hotel and my room were very good. It's in the city centre but quiet at night. The receptionist who checked me in spoke excellent English and was efficient and helpful. My room was clean and comfortable, with enough storage space for luggage. The bathroom was small but clean, with a powerful shower and lots of hot water. Linen and towels were good quality. Breakfast was very good, with lots of variety of continental cheese, meats, cereals etc. Very good service from start to finish.

I liked the location and despite the small size there was plenty of space to keep the luggage, work on table and the sleep comfortably with the view of the river.
the bathrooms are too small and often the shower or the tap drips. overall clean and comformatble hotel so it was fine for a short work trip.

After arriving from Sweden by ferry we were looking for a place to stay two nights. We were surprised about the city Aalborg: much more mundaine than we expected and the Cabinn Hotel is at the right spot! Close to the waterfront and park, where you can have a walk, lie on the deck chairs on the quay, or visit the Utzon Center (at 200 metres). Also ideally close to the shopping center, bars and restaurants.( 1 minute walk). We arrived by car and there is plenty of space in the public parking when you arrive outside shopping hours (for which you can pay at check in at the Hotel). We were able to park close to the door that leads straight to the stairs or elevator to your floor. For our bycicles, there was a big cage in the corner of the parking garage with the key available at the reception desk. The rooms are pretty small. That's also the concept: like a cabin on a ship and to reduce costs. The third bed for our child was a bunk bed above the double bed. (ask for the detachable railing bar at the reception desk!) The bathroom is extremely tiny, but efficient. With the shower curtain closed around you, there is only room left for the toilet itself. It was good enough for us. For three adults, I would consider the room to small. Breakfast was good, but we don't have high demands for this. No noise from ouside or other guests. I would recommend this hotel.
Hidding my head against the bunk bed above. please attach a soft bumper on the corner.

The hotel is located in the very centre of Aalborg and only about 10 mins on foot from the railway and bus station. The room was clean and contained everything required for a pleasant stay. Thanks to the well-insulated windows it was very quiet. The breakfast buffet had everything for a good start into the day and the staff I encountered were very nice. It is a great budget hotel in central Aalborg.

This is a budget accomodation, thus the room and bathroom are quite small. I lived in a room with two beds next each other (not with one to be upper). I chose this on purpose, as it seemed to me that there is not any wardrobe (in my room was not the typical one), thus I used the second bed as a wardrobe bed for folding clothes. The common problem of such budget accomodation is that in small space many things do not work together. But I was very surprised how practically everything was established in Cabinn. For example the table was put in a very good position, even the PC kind one. Bathroom was joined with a toilet, but the shower head was chosen such that it did not sprinkle everything around and it was possible to easy regulate the shower power, thus finally it was not problematic as usual (water was not everywhere). There was a kettle which was very practical. The windows have the shadowing which is also practical. It is in the real centre of Aalborg which is very beautiful. The breakfast is standard and simple, but not bad - bread, butter, jams, tea, juices, coffee, milk, two kind of cheeses, three kinds of ham, yogurt and cereals, eggs from powder, sausages, two kinds of morning cakes. For beginning days it was alright, later I preferred to take breakfast in the city.
I missed the fridge, at least some small one or some shared.

The breakfast was okay The room was warm. Staffs reception was superb. The geography centrality of the location provides convenient proximity to various places of interest including transport stations.
The room space is overly optimized. The room is too small with its correspondingly small size of bed and bathroom facilities. The hotel does not provide enough soap for guests. I could not get power to my TV throughout. I did not call for assistance though,. So, i do not blame the hotel for this.
