Cosy, luxurious comfort right next to the beach. Amazon v walking trails nearby. The hotel and food were gorgeous.

It was quite difficult to get in to the hotel brasserie. We didn’t realize our stay coincided with school holidays. The Oke restaurant is only open on the weekends, apparently.

This is a pricey place, by British (collapsing nation) standards. It is an extremely comfortable (yet not "luxurious") place; but it really delivers. The staff are fantastic. Mesmerising in their professionalism, friendliness and efficiency. There are cosy places to sit downstairs. The food is fabulous, the setting wonderful, the general "vibe" is uniquely accessible to all. The room was delightful; very comfortable without being ostentatious. All of it is immaculately clean and well (but discreetly) serviced. If I could, I would stay here every year.

Nothing. OK, the arrangement of the sauna, steam, changing rooms & showers being downstairs, but the pool being upstairs made transitions between the two areas not ideal. Also, the sauna & steam took ages to get up to temperature, as they were on a "on demand" system, but the pool was immaculate.

Happy and attentive staff. Well illuminated rooms with light coming in 2 sides. The bathroom had double sinks and an opulent shower. Towels and bathrobes were thick and luxurious. The food was wonderful, and breakfast was spectacular. We will be back

Sauna was a little cool.

Everything was perfect. The staff was extremely friendly and did everything to make us happy. The hotel has great wellness facilities that you can use until 10pm. Breakfasts are really nice and you can even order some things a-la-carte. We also loved the restaurant there which offers a great selection of delicious dishes.

Location very nice. Near the beach. Restaurant very good. Breakfast also good Friendly staff. We especially liked the nice atmosphere of this small and cosy hotel. We also liked the room with balcony.

Ruths is simply wonderful and will definitely be amongst the top ten of hotels we have visited over the years. The place is charming with a professional and personable staff. The atmosphere is lovely and the decor very pleasant and extremely well thought out. A welcoming place with a lot of charm and sesaside history!

Ruth’s is at the top of our list in all categories. The comfort, the breakfast, brasserie & the staff make for a most enjoyable stay.

Parking is often difficult.

It was a hygge place and steps away from a beautiful strand. The included breakfast was a definite plus. And the location is close to most attractions.

Lovely hotel with a long tradition of offering retreats in the most beautiful setting. Beautiful rooms and common areas, fantastic food both in the Bistro and for breakfast. Great staff!

There was renovation happening in another wing so maybe this was the reason for the same dirt in the staircase for the duration of our stay...
